|
After 10000
long years of growth, enlightenment and technological advances, any traces of
guilt related to sexuality were long gone.
Historians (and the occasional regular citizen) who happened to browse
through the holographic historical data archives were often amused at the
incredible extent to which human society was repressed in all matters
relating to sexuality in the first 3000 years or so of recorded history
(i.e., going by the Roman calendar).
It was late in the 20th century before "pornography" even
became tolerated by the majority of the public. And the word 'tolerated' was chosen
carefully, as centuries after that there still existed significant
percentages of the population that, due to moral and religious brainwashing,
persisted in convincing themselves that sexuality was something to be embarassed about and, most sadly, denied both to
themselves and to others.
