                                    Someone New with Power

Look back at how you treated me
         now that itÕs over and done
         maybe youÕll see just how I feel
         after this is over and done
Now look who has the power
         donÕt think of crawling back
         Ôcause now IÕm in control of your tears
         I have the power you now lack
Should I ignore and insult you
         like you did to me
         or maybe I should leave you out
         of everything you see
When you talk to me should I
         talk back or not even listen
         I want to do the things you did
         but I donÕt think your tears would glisten
Maybe I over-reacted about the things
         that have happened to me
         but when they happen every day
         itÕs so hard to not want to flee
Now look who has the power
         to ignore, to exclude, to dump
         maybe you should have thought of that
         now look whoÕs the chump
As you see me out every night
         with a new and improved group of friends
         you will see how happy I am
         and that I can make it to the end
So when you sit alone every night
         no friends and nothing to do
         maybe you should think of what you did
         and what kind of friendship you blew.
