A Thought For This Date
I worked that day; I could do no more.
I worked that day; I could do no less.
I remember that day;
When it took strangers to remind me
That a home is more than a place to live
That a pledge is more than empty words
That the whole is more than the sum of its parts
The bell tolls; the bell has always tolled.
Today I remember.
May we always remember.
