Chapter 11 – In Bed Alone – But Not For Long

It was a strange feeling to not have a warm body beside me in bed and quite
frankly, I missed it. In fact I even had a bit of a problem falling asleep.
The next morning, however, I was awoken by two jumping into my bed and getting
under the covers with me.

"Morning Daddy" "Morning Dad" they said, almost in unison. 'Oh there's 'Dad'
again. I guess that means Tara's getting too old for 'Daddy' now' I thought to
myself. "Good morning you guys, did you have a good 'sleepover'?" I asked.

"Hmm yes." Ashley said. "I can't wait until I'm thirteen".

'I guess that answers the question of what they talked about.' I thought.

"Did you miss us?" Tara asked reaching down to stroke my cock.

"Nope, not a bit. Had the best sleep I've had for months." I said.

"Dad, you told us not to lie!" Tara said giving my cock a squeeze. "Something
seems to tell me otherwise." Tara grinned.

Ashley had been watching and saw where Tara's hand was and grabbed the covers
and pulled them back. "Oh look, Daddy's cock... is getting big."

I had to smile to myself. Ashley was still a bit uneasy with using terms like

"Ladies, no time for playing this morning, you've got school and I need to go
to work." and with that I nudged them towards the edge of the bed. Once they'd
left I got up and got into the shower. Suddenly I felt someone else – Tara. "I
loved showering with you last night and I want to do it again. 'Kay?" she
asked.

"Okay, but just this morning and just a shower – no playing."

Tara grinned and said "Aww, you're no fun."

Showers over and breakfast made the three of us sat down and ate. I noticed
one of those 'silent conversations' going on between Ashley and Tara. Suddenly
Ashley spoke up. "Daddy, we've decided..." pointing to Tara and herself "...
that we're going to both sleep with you every night, 'cept when we're sick or
when..." and she blushed. Tara continued.

"If one of us wants to have you to ourselves, Ashley and I will talk about it
and you'll know because only one of us will be there. 'Kay?"

"Yep, that's okay with me but can I also ask that I sleep by myself sometimes.
The other day I felt like I wasn't doing my best work as I kept thinking – or
maybe dreaming is a better word – about what we'd done the night before.
Sometimes at work I can't have those kinds of distractions. If I need to sleep
alone I'll tell you, okay?" Both girls nodded in unison.

I looked at Tara. "You know, last night was the first time I've slept alone
since you started sleeping with me - and I slept right through the night. I
guess your 'cure' was what I needed." and with that I went and gathered both
of them in a hug.

I started to get them off to school but not before calling Tara over and
handing her the credit card I'd arranged for her. Tara's face beamed and she
gave me a big hug and kissed my face all over. "Oh Daddy, I'd almost
forgotten." Ashley wanted to know what Tara had been given and Tara showed
her.

"Ashley," I said, "when you become thirteen I'll go the same as I've done for
Tara - get you a card on my account. For now maybe you and Tara can shop
together if you need something. In fact, why don't the two of you give the
card some exercise on Saturday? I'll drop you at the mall, you can have lunch
and I'll pick you up when you're ready, okay?"

The girls smiled and laughed and headed out to school.

As I watched them go I was reminded as to just how quickly they were becoming
young women. The thought saddened me somewhat but I also realized that this
was normal and I'd better just accept it. I also realized I needed to talk to
the two grandmas. Saturday morning would be a good time as Harry and Paul were
golfing buddies and as long as the weather was good, they'd be out golfing on
Saturday. I made a mental note to call Mabel later that day.

Before I forgot, I took the memory card from the video camera and downloaded
it onto my computer. I edited the card to eliminate the first bit before Tara
came in to get the room ready and the portion after we fell asleep. I saved
the edited file to my computer and also put it on a new memory card to give to
Tara later.
