and I am sure that Karen would do her share.  Now another question.  After
school is out, PC and I are going to be transferred to another school
district.  There are several kids that I want to take with us, as
instructors for the SAP program.  Karen is one of them.  I would need for
either myself, or PC to be given the legal authority to be responsible for
Karen's welfare.  Would you and/or John be willing to let her go with us?

John, and see what you both think about it, and let me know as soon as you
can."

   "I will tell you that Molly has given me permission to take Anita, and I

instructors as well." said Bob.

   As Bob was leaving to go back to work, Linda said, "Bob, I will let you
know on both items, no later than tomorrow night.  Why don't you bring PC
over so we can see the babies, and you will both get our answer then." Bob
said, "PC cannot go up steps for the next week, so lets postpone that until
she can.  That will be soon enough for an answer." He then drove off.

   When Bob got back to his office, his secretary told him that there was
an envelope on his desk marked personal and Confidential.  It had been
brought in by a private messenger service.  Bob went to his desk, and
picked it up.  There was no markings on it except for his name and the
school address.

mystery trip was now scheduled.

   That evening, Bob took the kids home from school, and then went to the

"When you are not busy nursing the girls, can you work on the outline of

that I will be leaving in three weeks, by bus."

   George came in at the end of the conversation, and said, "She is ok to

   PC said, "I have it about ¾ done, so I am sure I can finish it and get
it printed before you leave." George asked, "Where are you going, Bob?"

   George then said, "PC, you can go home about noon tomorrow.  Just
remember, NO stairs for a week, and hold down the work to 20 minutes per

body, and you should take at least 2 months off before you return to work
full time.  I know with Bob leaving, it will be hard, but Sarah Jane, and
Bobby Sue will help you as much as they can.  Bob, how soon are you
leaving?"

   Bob replied, "About 3 weeks.  I will use that time to try to get Nancy,
BS and SJ to the point that they can help on the routine things."

   Ten days later, Kris invited PC and family, along with Bob over for
supper.  When they arrived, Kris said to PC, "Elmer is not here, he is
still pissed off at Bob, but not for anything he had a hand in.  It's a
family matter, you see Bob is my cousin once removed." PC said, "Kris, I
know Bob's relationship to you, and some of the story, but not the whole
story.  I am sorry that Elmer isn't here, but I do understand a little bit
of why.  I will just say that Bob is a wonderful person, and I am glad to
have him in my life, and my children's lives."

   Kris fawned over the babies, and asked PC, "May I ask, who the father
is?" PC said, "The girls father would rather remain in the background, so I
will not say who it is, other than he is a wonderful man, and most of the
women I know, love him."

   While they were talking, PC said, "Kris, is Penny still having problems,
relating to you and Elmer?  I seem to remember that she ran away from home
a couple of times, and she blamed it on the two of you.  I know that you
are both good parents, but sometimes that is not enough."

   Kris said, "We seem to have a truce going on.  She is being nice to us,
but I can tell that she would rather not be here most of the time.  I have
bent over backwards to keep her here.  It has helped her grades, but I am
not sure that she is happy.  I have heard rumors that she is a little
tramp, and I am afraid she will come up pregnant, before she graduates next
year."

   PC thought for a few minutes, and then said, "Have you ever thought of
sending her to boarding school?"

   Kris said, "No, that thought never occurred to either of us, why?"

   "Let me give you some background information, and then you will see why
I came up with that idea" said PC.

   "When we moved here, there were no teaching jobs open, but I took a job
as a high school councilor.  Bob was in his Junior year, and was assigned
to me.  The first time I interviewed him, I knew he was an exceptional
student.  I liked him, and used him as a father figure for Nancy and the
boys.  They all liked him and responded to him.  He has a girl friend, who
he will marry after she graduates this spring.  At the end of that school
year, I was sent to a class for a new type of curriculum.  It is what we
now call SAP.  I needed a lot of help to start this program, so the powers
that be arranged for Bob to take an exam, which would prove his knowledge
of all high school requirements.  Bob in 9, 10 and eleventh grades had
missed only one question on a test.  He aced the test given him, and he was
awarded his HS diploma.  He was then given another one at the CC.  He again
aced the test and was given a 2 year degree in applied physiology.  This
allowed him to be qualified to teach.  He then became my right hand in
putting together this SAP program."

   "This is the third full year of the program, and the powers that be,
promoted him, and he is now technically my boss, however we work as a team.
He will be going in about 2 weeks to a conference, prior to our moving to
another school district.  That worked out well because I cannot travel for
a few more weeks, and also I need to be with the girls while they are so
young."

   "Now here is what I am thinking, We are taking a couple of girls with us
as student teachers.  They will be students in the school, but also be in
charge of teaching SAP to their respective grades, under the supervision of
Bob and myself.  Nancy, Amos and Andy will be student teachers.  Two of
Bob's family friends will be two more.  They of course will have to have
paperwork allowing either myself or Bob to be their guardians.  I think
that maybe, if she is willing, we could use Penny as one of our student
teachers, and if so, you could give me the paperwork to be her guardian
until she is 18.  That just might solve your problem.  What do you think?"

   Kris said, "It sounds like it might work, if she is willing.  Penny,
come in here please." Penny and Nancy both came in.

   PC said, "Nancy, please go back and help with the girls.  This is a
private conversation." "OK, mom," Nancy said, as she left the room.

   In the living room, Nancy told Bob, "Mom kicked me out.  She said it was
a private conversation, with emphasis on private." Bob replied, "That means
no mental listening either.  It will take you some time yet to remember all
the little things that you can do, but SHOULD NOT do.  Just think of things
that you and Penny talk about, would you want me and/or your mom listening
in on them?"

   Nancy said, "I know you are right, but sometimes I think I am being
discussed, and want to know what is said." Bob replied, "What other people
think of you and what they say about you is for them, and the people they
are talking to.  If you were to know, it might hurt you more.  Also think
about what you and Penny say about some of your friends.  Would you like
them to know?  I doubt that you would."

   "Yes, Bob, you are right.  You are exasperating because you are always
right, but I still love you" Nancy replied.

   Bob said, "Nancy, I make mistakes also, but I try to keep them at a
minimum.  I have made more mistakes than the average person, but I have
just kept it hidden, by not opening my mouth at the wrong time."

   Three quarters of an hour later, the three women came back into the
living room, and Penny was beaming.  Nancy asked her what was going on, and
she answered, "Nothing that I can talk about, but some of my issues have
been solved, and I think I will be happier than ever."

   Nancy looked at her mom, and PC smiled and shook her head no.  This time
Nancy got the correct meaning of the no, and said to Penny, "I hope that it
will make you feel better, getting something solved."

   Bob handed Nancy the car keys and said, "Nancy, you drive, and take it
easy.  Help your mom up the stairs at home, and you other three each take
one of the girls up to their cribs.  I will be there later, before I go
home for the night."

   Bob noticed that Kris had walked out to the car, with her tits still

   Kris said, "I have never told anyone, not even Elmer, but I get
premonitions.  So far they have never been wrong." Bob replied, "I think
that this time, you read it wrong, and why wouldn't you have told someone
before this?"

   "A little family history, that not many know," said Kris, "Is that my
grandmother, and your mom's as well (same person) was a fortune teller in a
carnival when she was young.  One time when I was a child, I was staying

   While she was talking, Bob was looking at her mind.  He found that she
did get premonitions, but was not able to read minds.  He then searched for
his mom's mind and looked at her as well.  Mom did not have the ability.

   Bob then said, "Kris, have you had any premonitions about me, or just
about the kids?" "Just the kids," she answered.  Bob then said, "Kris, I do
not know how to answer you about your premonitions.  My best idea would be
to take them with a grain of salt.  You could be misreading them, or
something else is interfering with your perceptions."

   While they were talking, Bob did not notice that Kris had removed the
rest of her clothing.  She came over to him and sat on his lap.  When his

Bob asked her about the conversation that she, Penny and Kris had.

   PC said that Kris had told Penny about her dad leaving, and why.  Then
they talked about school.  Penny asked Kris if she would be allowed to go
with us, and Kris said, "If you can get a B or better in all your classes
for the rest of the year, then you can go." Penny said, "I can and will do
it."

   Bob then told PC what Kris had said about her going, and also about her
wanting him to give Penny several kids.  PC replied, "Bob, you are going to
have enough kids to fill a whole school, before you are 21, at this rate."
Bob replied, "And with this group, teaching them, they will be head and
shoulders above their peers."

   A few days later, PC dropped Bob off at the Bus Station.  He got on the
bus to Memphis.

   Where will this trip go, and ultimately end?  Who is Bob going to see,
and what will happen to his teachers?
