A NEW GOVERNESS AND TUTOR FOR SAXTON MANOR

household. The staff and full members of the house were informed
by the Lady and Lord of the house that they were entrusting the
estate and the welfare of its population to Miss Hanna and Master
Ellis. All due respect and a uthority given was to be given to
them as if they were indeed Lord and Lady of the Manor. Their
complete cooperation and compliance was demanded of them.

Ellis upon interviewing for the position made subtle references

provided us with the entire west wing of th e manor for
schoolroom and dormitories. All the children will be sleeping in
these new accommodations to assist us with assimilating them into
the education process. Parents you may un no terms violate the
sanctity of the west wing, we will not tolerate any interruption,
any violation of this request will remove you from the estate the
Lord and Lady shall keep your children should this arise in the
