Trent sat up. Burying his face in his hands, he wondered what
happened. One moment Kim was snuggling against him and the next
thing he knew, she ran from the stateroom. He reached for his
underwear and started putting them on.

Kim knocked on the door before walking into the stateroom Tom and
Molly shared. "I'm sorry to bother you, but I need to get a pair of
shorts and a top," Kim said.

Molly sat up, holding the sheet against her naked chest. "What's
wrong, Kim? You look pissed off," Molly said.

"I hate boys!" Kim replied as she pulled a pair of shorts from one
of the drawers.

"What happened? Did Trent do something to you?" Tom said as he got
out of bed.

"Just forget it."

"I'm not going to forget it, Kim. Tell us what happened," Tom said.
He pulled Kim to the bed, sitting her down.

"Trent and I fooled around. He told me to brush my teeth before
he'd kiss me after I-you know," Kim said. She blinked her eyes,
sending tears down her cheek.

Tom put his arm around Kim's shoulders. Molly sat on the other side
of Kim, placing her hand on Kim's leg. Kim sat with her head down
and softly sobbed.

"I'm going to go talk to Trent," Tom said.

"No, please don't, Tom. I don't want you to hurt him," Kim said.

Molly got up. She slipped on her sweatpants and sweatshirt. "I'll
go talk to him. Tom, take care of Kim."

Molly left and went to the stateroom to talk to Trent. She opened
the door, walked in, and stood in front of him.

"What did you do to Kim? She's upset," Molly said.

"I don't know what I did, Molly. One minute we were having fun and
the next thing I knew she's pissed off at me," Trent said.

"Did you tell her that you wouldn't kiss her until she brushed her
teeth after she blew you?"

Trent jerked his head up. His face turned red as he blushed. "No!"

"That's what Kim said you said."

"I didn't tell her I wouldn't kiss her. I ASKED Kim if she wanted
to brush her teeth, that's all," Trent said.

"Does that mean you'd have kissed her?" Molly said.

"Of course I would have kissed her." Trent took a deep breath. "I
thought that Kim might think I was gay or something so I asked her if
she wanted to rinse her mouth first."

"Why would you think that?"

Shrugging his shoulders, Trent said, "It was something I'd heard
before. One of the girls I used to know said that if a guy kissed a
girl after she blew him, he was gay."

"I think Kim misunderstood you, Trent. If you wouldn't kiss her, I
can see why. My old boyfriend wouldn't kiss me if I did that to him.
It made me feel like a slut," Molly said.

"What can I do?" Trent said.

"Let me go talk to Kim. Wait here," Molly said.

Trent nodded. Molly left, going back to her stateroom so she could
talk to Kim. She sat next to Kim, putting her arm around her waist.

"I think you misunderstood what he said, Kim," Molly said. "Trent
said he asked if you wanted to brush your teeth. He said he didn't
have any problem kissing you. Trent didn't want you to think he was
gay."

"Why would I think that?" Kim said. She looked up at Molly.

"I guess that a girl Trent used to know said that if a boy kissed a
girl after giving him a blow job, he was gay," Molly said as she
giggled.

"Oh fuck! I think I messed up. I wanted everything to be perfect
with Trent. Maybe I should have listened to what he said and not
reacted to what I thought he said."

"It's not like you to jump to conclusions, Kim. What's up with
that?" Tom said.

Kim shrugged her shoulders.

"You should go talk to him, Kim. He feels terrible," Molly said.

Nodding, Kim said, "Thanks, I'm going to see if I can straighten
this out."

Kim left the room. Molly removed her clothes, crawled over to Tom,
and giggled. "Now were we?"

Tom chuckled as he wrapped his arms around Molly. "We were going to
fuck."

Kim walked into the stateroom. She sat next to Trent and said, "I'm
sorry, Trent. I should have asked you what you said instead of
thinking I knew."

"I would have kissed you, Kim. I was worried that you'd think I was
gay or something if we kissed. I'm sorry too," Trent said.

Kim smiled. "So, does that mean you don't mind kissing me after I
suck you?"

Trent shook his head.

"Prove it!"

Trent smiled. He leaned closer, placing his lips against Kim's
lips. They kissed for a moment, falling back onto the bed. Trent
wrapped his arms around her, holding her to him. Kim put one of her
hands between his legs. She rubbed him, feeling Trent's penis
hardening. Kim started kissing her way down his chest, but Trent
stopped her. He pulled Kim up and then rolled her onto her back.

"I want to do it to you. I don't know how, but I want to learn,"
Trent said.

Kim and Trent rearranged themselves on the bed. He began kissing
and massaging Kim's breasts. She arched her back, pressing her
breast against Trent's mouth. Kim took his hand, guiding it between
her legs. He rubbed her, causing Kim to moan. Trent trailed his
kisses down her stomach. She spread her legs in anticipation of what
Trent was about to do.

Trent paused to gaze at Kim's sex. He stroked her thigh, moving
closer to the junction. Kim smiled as she watched Trent staring at
her. He glanced up, smiling at her.

"I don't know what to do next," Trent said in a heavy whisper.

"You can touch me," Kim said.

Trent moved his hand over Kim's vulva. She shifted her hips,
wiggling against his hand. He leaned closer, inhaling her musty
aroma. Trent kissed Kim's mons. He pressed his lips against her
tuft of pubic hair and then moved lower. Extending his tongue, Trent
licked between Kim's legs.

"Mmmm, that feels nice," Kim said. She reached down, running her
fingers through Trent's long hair. Kim applied a little pressure to
the back of his head, guiding him.

Trent continued to move his tongue against her heated vulva. Kim
moaned, rocking her hips against his mouth. When his tongue found
her clit, Kim said, "Oh yes, right there. That's my clit, Baby."

The more he laved her sex, the more comfortable Trent became. He
slipped his hands under Kim's butt, pulling her crotch to his mouth.
Kim rocked her hips and continued to moan. Trent's inexperience
didn't prevent him from causing Kim to climax. She clamped his head
between her thighs and pulled his hair. A moment later, Kim's legs
relaxed.

"Wow, that was great," Kim said as she pulled Trent up. He hovered
over her, looking down at Kim's contented expression. She pulled his
face close and ran her tongue around his lips.

"Does that mean I did okay?" Trent said.

"Oh yeah!" Kim kissed him. They opened their mouths, darting their
tongues together.

Kim began stroking Trent's penis. He groaned into her mouth and
then pulled his head back. "I'm going to come if you keep doing
that," Trent warned Kim.

"I know."

Kim gave Trent a kiss and moved down his body. Resting her head on
his stomach, she covered his glans with her mouth. Trent's hips came
off the bed, pushing more of his member into Kim's mouth. She rubbed
his penis, moving her hand to his testicles. Kim moaned around his
shaft, sending vibrations through his lower body.

Trent's legs jerked as he hunched his hips up and down. Kim sucked
firmly and ran her tongue around the head of his penis. She felt
Trent's body stiffen and his semen splatter against the inside of her
mouth. Kim wrapped her hand around his shaft again. She stroked his
penis, milking his semen into her mouth.

"Oh, Kim, that was so good," Trent said. He reached down, stroking
the back of Kim's head.

Kim moaned around his softening penis and nodded. She slowly pulled
her mouth off him, keeping his semen in her mouth. Kim turned
around, kneeling on the bed. She opened her mouth to show Trent the
pool of thick come. Kim closed her mouth and swallowed.

Trent sat up. He wrapped his arms around Kim, pulled her closer,
and kissed her. He pressed his tongue against Kim's closed lips,
prying them open. Kim moaned as Trent's tongue slipped into her
mouth. He moved his tongue around inside Kim's mouth, stroking her
tongue and teeth. Kim returned the kiss with the same heated
passion. She held the back of Trent's head, keeping their mouths
locked together.

Kim and Trent continued to hug each other after breaking their kiss.
He rubbed her back and she ran her fingers through his hair. They
caught their breath and then Kim giggled.

"Your come is tasty." Kim pulled back and looked into Trent's eyes.
"I'm sorry for the way I behaved. You said one thing and I heard
something else. Am I forgiven?"

"It was just a misunderstanding, Kim. Don't worry about it. I
should have just kissed you without asking," Trent said.

"We'll figure it out. I guess we'll have to keep practicing, won't
we?" Kim replied and then she kissed Trent. "Are you ready for
something else new?"

Trent grinned, thinking that Kim meant she wanted to screw him.
"Sure!" Trent rolled Kim onto her back and began kissing him.

Giggling, Kim said, "Um, I was talking about going swimming."

"Oh," Trent replied. His voice showed his disappointment.

Kim wiggled from under Trent. She stood up and grabbed his arm.
Pulling him from the berth, Kim said, "Come on."

"Aren't you going to put on your suit?" Trent said.

"No, I'm going skinny dipping. You can wear your suit if you want
to," Kim said.

Shrugging his shoulders, Trent said, "Oh well, I guess this is a day
of firsts for me."

Hugging Trent, Kim gave him a kiss. She ran her hand down his back
to his bottom, pulling him closer. "There are a lot more firsts to
come, Sweetie."

Kim led Trent out of the stateroom. She rapped on Tom and Molly's
door, telling them that she and Trent were going swimming. Kim held
Trent's hand as they went up the steps to the salon. They walked aft
and went out to the cockpit. Kim showed Trent where to find the deck
chairs.

Tom and Molly came out to the cockpit. Both of them were naked.
Trent glanced at Molly, blushing when she looked at him and then
smiled.

"We told everyone that we were going swimming. They should be up in
a few minutes," Molly said. She put her arm around Kim, smiling at
her. "Did you two get things straightened out?"

"Yeah, it was my fault," Kim admitted.

"It wasn't anyone's fault, Kim. As I said, it was a silly
misunderstanding," Trent said.

"What was?" Jenny said as she and Brad came out of the cabin with
Kathy and Eddie.

A moment later, Sally and Jack walked out. Trent couldn't get over
how at ease everyone seemed with being naked. Kim stood next to
Trent, hugging his arm.

"I didn't listen to something Trent said and got pissed off.
Everything is fine now," Kim said.

"It wasn't entirely Kim's fault. I shouldn't have said what I
said," Trent told the group.

"Is someone going to tell us what the hell you're talking about?"
Sally said.

"I gave Trent a blow job. When we finished, he asked if I wanted to
brush my teeth so I wouldn't think he was gay or something. I took
it as he wouldn't kiss me unless I brushed my teeth first. As I
said, it was a misunderstanding. We're cool," Kim said.

"Jeez, don't you guys have any secrets?" Trent said as he blushed.

"No we don't, Trent. All of us are more like a family than just
good friends. We share everything. We've learned that we shouldn't
do anything we're ashamed of doing or saying. So, if you're going to
be part of our team, you have to become part of the family too.

"Kim, you know better than to jump to conclusions. You know that
the only way to resolve problems is to address them head on. That
goes for all of us. We spend too much time together in close
quarters to let things get out of hand," Jack said. He smiled and
winked at his sister.

"I know, Jack. I also know I was wrong and I won't let it happen
again," Kim said.

Trent didn't know what to think about what Jack said. More than
anything, he wanted to become a part of the group. Although he'd
only met the teens two days ago, he felt closer to them than he ever
did with the kids he hung around with in Iowa.

"I do want to be a part of the group and if you want me, part of the
team. My dad always told me that things were seldom one person's
fault. I feel I was just as wrong as Kim was," Trent said.

"It doesn't matter. What's done is done. Now, why don't you two
kiss and make up?" Kathy said with a giggle.

"We did," Trent said.

"Yeah, but I think we need to do it again," Kim said. She giggled
and gave Trent a kiss.

"Let's go for a swim," Brad said. "I want to get in more fishing
before the end of the day."

Tom opened the transom door. The group filed out, standing on the
swim platform and then jumping into the warm water. Kim held Trent's
hand as they went feet first into the water. The teens swam toward
shore so they could stand up. They splashed each other and goofed
around.

"This is the first time I've swum in saltwater," Trent said. "I
like it."

Molly shocked Trent when she gave him a hug. "I'll bet you like
swimming with a bunch of naked girls too!"

Blushing, Trent nodded. Sally came over and wrapped her arms around
Trent from behind. "Hey, don't hog the new kid," Sally said.

Kathy, Jenny and Kim gathered around Trent. The five girls giggled
and vied for position so they could hug him. The other boys laughed
as Trent squirmed in the girls' arms.

"Do you think we should help him?" Eddie said.

"Naw, he looks like he's doing okay," Brad said.

"Is this better than the things you used to do in Iowa?" Tom said.

"You're kidding, right? I never did anything like this in Iowa or
anywhere else," Trent said.

The girls moved away from Trent. Kim put her hand on his crotch,
giggling when she felt his erection. She took a deep breath,
submerged, and took his member into her mouth. Kim sucked Trent for
a moment and came up. Trent stood in shock as Kim kissed him on the
mouth.

"Yum!" Kim said with a giggle.

Trent looked at the rest of the group. They laughed and shook their
heads.

The group swam for a little longer and then moved to the stern of
the boat. They climbed out of the water, standing in the cockpit.
Brad pulled the freshwater wash-down hose out and began spraying the
saltwater off everyone's body. Jack took the hose and rinsed Brad.

"You should put on sunscreen so you don't burn," Kathy told Trent.

"That's probably a good idea. Do you have any?" Trent replied.

Kathy nodded. She went to the mezzanine and pulled a bottle of
sunscreen from a small locker. Kathy poured some of the lotion in
her hand and began applying it to Trent's back. He took the bottle
so he could do his front.

The teens sat around the cockpit letting the sun dry them. Trent
stood behind Kim's chair, gently massaging her shoulders.

"Can you tell me something about the club tournaments?" Trent said
to no one special.

"We'll be fishing for dolphin and wahoo this time. We get to weigh
in five fish and the team with the heaviest weight wins the
tournament," Eddie said.

"When we fish for billfish, we tag them and let them go. Each boat
has an observer that makes sure the catch, tag, and release is
legal," Jenny said.

"Back in Iowa there was a sportsman club in our town. Every year
they held a deer hunt. At the end of the hunt, the club donated all
the meat to a homeless shelter. The paper ran a spread every year,"
Trent said.

"That's a great idea. We should see about doing that with our
club," Kathy said.

"I agree. I think most of the teams would donate their fish once in
a while," Jenny said. "I'll bring it up at a board meeting."

"Are wahoo and dolphin good to eat?" Trent asked.

"They're delicious! Yoshi is going to fix the fish we catch today
for dinner tonight. We're having a barbeque," Sally said.

"I'd like to have a few prints of the pictures to send to Iowa if I
can. The guys I hung around with won't believe it," Trent said.

"I think we should get going and try to catch a few more," Brad said.

Everyone agreed with Brad. They put the chairs away and went below
to dress. Kim and Trent went to the stateroom together after Kim
grabbed a bikini from Tom and Molly's room.

"I'm going to have to move my stuff into this room," Kim said as she
slipped on the bottoms of her micro bikini. She gave Trent a hug and
a kiss. "You should keep a few things on the boat too."

"Does that mean you guys are going to let me fish with you?" Trent
said.

"You can if you want to, Trent. I'd like it if you did. I'd like
it a lot," Kim said.

"That's great!" Trent said. He hugged Kim and chuckled.

Trent and Kim finished putting on their suits. They went up to the
salon and took sodas from the refrigerator. The rest of the group
came up and they got underway. Eddie and Jack took the helm. Kim
and Trent helped Brad and Jenny get the rods down from the rocket
launchers. They placed them in the rod holders on the gunwale.

Jack motored out into deep water. Eddie stood watch, looking for
birds or floating debris. Brad decided to go up to the tuna tower
for a better vantage point. He asked if anyone wanted to join him.

"Can I go up with you?" Trent said.

"Sure, I'll show you the controls we have up there," Brad replied.

Brad and Trent scaled the ladder to the tuna tower. Brad took out a
pair of binoculars and handed them to Trent. Before Trent began
scanning the water, Brad explained the controls and electronics.

"This boat must be worth a fortune," Trent said.

"I don't know what it cost to build her, but I know it wasn't cheap.
Mr. Graham and Mr. Lewis sure shocked the hell out of us when they
told us it belonged to the team," Brad said.

"What are my chances of becoming a member of the team, Brad? I like
fishing and being with you guys."

"As far as I'm concerned, you're already a member. No one has said
anything to the contrary. Do you think your mom will let you go to
the tournaments with us?"

"I'm going to ask her. If she says no, I'll beg," Trent said with a
chuckle.

"We'll all ask your mom. I think our parents will convince her to
let you go as long as you don't fuck up. We all know that if we get
into trouble, we'll lose our fishing privileges. That's what keeps
us so close. We all know that one of us can mess it up for
everyone," Brad said.

"This is a lot better than hanging around with a bunch of guys and
smoking cigarettes. We used to meet in my garage. My friends, if
you can call them that, would hang around drinking and talking about
the things we wanted to do. We never did anything we talked about,"
Trent said.

"You said you didn't have any real friends. Never?"

"I used to have a good friend. His dad and my dad worked together.
Angelo used to come over and work on the car with us. We did a lot
together. After Dad died, we went our separate ways. I changed and
he didn't want anything to do with me. I realize that my anger
caused it, that and the way I acted.

"I don't know why I turned my back on Angelo. I guess it was
because it reminded me of all the good times I had with my dad."

"You should call him and let him know, Trent. It's hard losing a
friend," Brad said.

"I don't know if he'd even talk to me. I said some very nasty
things to him," Trent said.

"It never hurts to try. What's the worst thing that can happen? He
can tell you off and never talk to you again. I'll bet that it still
bothers you and that you'd feel better if you tried. Saying you're
sorry isn't that hard if you mean it," Brad said.

Trent nodded. Placing the binoculars to his eyes, he looked out
over the water. He thought about what Brad said and realized his new
friend was right. Trent decided to call his friend and see what
happens.

Pointing, Trent said, "There's a flock of birds over there."

Brad looked out, taking the binoculars from Trent when he offered
them. Looking out over the water, Brad saw the birds Trent spotted.

"Hey, we have birds at eleven o'clock. They're about four miles
from us," Brad said into the intercom.

"Great, take the boat," Jack replied.

"You take the wheel, Trent. Start heading toward the birds. When
we're about a mile from the flock, slow down so the others can get
the rods ready." Brad move aside so Trent could take the wheel.

"It's amazing how far you can see from up here," Trent said.

"You should be up here when we're in rough seas. It's a hell of a
ride," Brad said. "By the way, how are you feeling?"

"I feel great. I was worried about getting seasick, but I haven't.
Good thing, huh?" Trent said and then he laughed.

"That's for sure. Getting sick out here would suck. I haven't
gotten seasick yet, but I've heard that if it gets too rough anyone
can get sick."

Trent headed toward the diving birds. Brad told him to slow the
boat when they were close to the flock. Pulling back on the
throttles, Trent slowed the boat to ten knots. Brad took over,
standing with his back to the wheel.

"When we're fishing, we stand this way so we can watch behind the
boat and see what's going on in the cockpit," Brad said. "You can go
down and fish if you want to."

"You wouldn't mind?"

"No, you can go. Send someone else up to watch with me."

"Who should I send up?" Trent said.

"It doesn't matter. Just tell them and one of them will come up,"
Brad replied.

Trent went down to the cockpit. He told the group that Brad wanted
someone to go up to the tuna tower. Kathy said she'd go up to watch
with her brother.

Kim gave Trent one of the teaser rods. He let out the hook-less
lure. Kim told him when to set the reel and put the rod in a holder.
Sally and Jack worked on the port side of the boat while Kim and
Trent set up the starboard side. Eddie and Jenny helped them while
Molly and Tom helped Jack and Sally. A few moments later, the
teasers were set.

Kathy stood next to Brad on the tuna tower. She watched the water,
hoping to see a fish rise. Brad used one hand to steer the boat and
put his other hand on his sister's back.

"Did you ever think we'd end up fishing like this, Kathy?" Brad said.

"No, but I'm glad we did. I can't think of anything I'd rather do."

Chuckling, Brad moved his hand to Kathy's bottom. "Isn't there
anything else you like as much?'

Kathy pushed back against Brad's hand. She looked up into his eyes
and smiled. "You know I love sex more than fishing. Well, maybe as
much as fishing. We haven't done anything together in a while. I
was beginning to think you don't like me anymore," Kathy said.

Brad gave her butt a squeeze. "Oh I still love you, Sis. I thought
you wanted to stick with Eddie. I didn't want to upset you."

"How many times are we going to go through this? Didn't we all
decide that we could fool around with anyone we wanted to? I know
that Eddie and Jenny still get together once in a while," Kathy said.

"I know, she tells me when they do. I miss the things we did
together."

Giggling, Kathy put her hand on Brad's crotch. She gave his penis a
firm squeeze and said, "I miss it too, Brad."

Brad rubbed Kathy's bottom while she fondled him. She saw a shadow
in the water, removed her hand and grabbed the microphone to the
intercom. "There's a fish following the starboard teaser," Kathy
said into the microphone.

Kathy and Brad watched Eddie grab one of the baited rods and place
the bait into the water. He listened to Kathy as she told him what
to do. When the fish took the bait, Eddie set the hook. Tom and
Molly started clearing the teasers while Eddie fought the fish.

"Hey, Trent, take this rod. I think we have a dolphin hooked,"
Eddie said.

Trent took the rod from Eddie. He began fighting the fish,
listening to Eddie's instructions. Fifteen minutes later, Jack
gaffed the fish. Trent watched as Jack removed the hook from the
fish. He placed the rod in a holder and stooped down to watch Jack.

"This is a nice fish," Jack said as he put it into the hold. "Good
job fighting it."

"Can we take a picture before we put the fish away?" Trent asked.

"Hey, Tom, get my digital camera and take a picture of Trent and his
fish," Jack said.

Jack pulled the two fish from the hold, handing them to Trent. Tom
went to get the camera. Kim stood near Trent, asking him if she
could be in the picture too.

"That would be great, Kim. The guys wouldn't believe I went fishing
with a girl," Trent said with a chuckle.

Kim giggled and called the rest of the girls over to join in the
picture. Kathy came down from the tuna tower to join her friends.
She asked Brad if she should send someone else up, but he said he
could handle it. Tom set up the shot with the girls standing on both
sides of Trent. As he took the shots, the girls posed.

"How one like this?" Kim said. She removed her top and pressed
herself against Trent to hide her breasts.

Laughing, the rest of the girls removed their tops too. They all
moved close to Trent, making sure that they concealed their breasts
from the camera. Tom took several shots. Kim moved away, standing
topless next to Trent. Sally giggled and did the same thing. Molly,
Kathy, and Jenny also moved, exposing their breasts to the camera.
Laughing, Tom took a few more pictures.

"The guys would shit if I showed them one of those shots," Trent
said as he put the two dolphin fish into the hold.

"Send it to them," Kim said.

"You wouldn't mind?" Trent said.

Giggling, Kim shook her head.

"You can send one with me topless too if you want to," Molly said.

The rest of the girls told Trent they didn't mind if he sent the
picture either. Trent shook his head and said, "Are you guys sure?"

Kim gave Trent a hug, pressing her bare chest against him. "You
don't have to if you think we're too ugly," Kim said with a giggle.

"Are you kidding? You're beautiful, all of you are," Trent said.

"Hey, are we going to fish or what?" Eddie said.

"I'm ready to fish again," Trent said. He began setting one of the
teasers, asking Eddie if he was doing it right.

"You're doing fine, Trent. Just make sure you keep your thumb on
the reel so it doesn't over-run. If the reel gets going too fast, it
will backlash," Eddie said.

The girls decided to remain topless while they stood in the cockpit
watching the boys reset the lines. When the next fish came into
view, Molly grabbed one of the pitch rods and let the bait out.
Jenny ran the teaser, helping Molly draw the fish to the bait.

"It looks like the girls are taking this one," Jack said. He and
the rest of the boys stepped out of the way so the girls could clear
the teasers.

"It's amazing that everyone seems to know who is going to do what,"
Trent said.

"That's what happens when you work as a team without egos getting in
the way. All of us are willing to do whatever it takes to win.
There aren't any star players on our team," Eddie said.

Trent nodded. "Back in Iowa, I became a real jerk after Dad died.
When the guys came over, I tried to boss them around. I guess they
put up with me because it gave them a place to hang out."

"That won't cut it with us," Tom said.

"Yeah, I can see that. I'm glad you guys invited me to go fishing
with you. If I learn how to do it, do you think I can fish in the
tournaments?"

"Yes, Trent, you're welcome to fish with the team and become a part
of it as long as you don't get cocky. Like Eddie said, we're a team.
Everyone is willing to do anything that we need to do. We fish
together and we work together. Taking care of this boat is a lot
work. We wash it down and clean it every time we take her out," Jack
said.

"I don't mind working with you guys. I'd like to learn about the
engine room so I can help there too. I'm a good mechanic," Trent said.

The girls started cheering. The boys watched as Jenny gaffed the
wahoo that Molly caught. After removing the hook and stowing the
fish, the girls reset the lines.

Sally caught the next fish. She fought and landed a nice dolphin.
Jack gave her a hug, telling Sally how well she did.

"We should wrap it up for the day," Kathy said. "We're supposed to
have a barbeque this evening and Yoshi will need the fish."

The teens went to work stowing the tackle. Eddie went to the bridge
and headed the boat home. Kim put her arm around Trent, leaning
against the gunwale with him. Tom and Molly came over to join the
couple.

"Well, how do you like deep-sea fishing?" Tom said.

"It's a blast! I love it," Trent said.

"Yeah, so do I." Tom chuckled as he moved one of his hands over
Molly's breast. "The scenery isn't bad either, is it?"

Trent blushed. Kim giggled and looked up at him. "Well, aren't you
going to answer Tom?"

"Um, yeah, the scenery is great," Trent said as he continued to blush.

"Good answer," Molly said and then she giggled.

The girls put their tops on as Eddie entered the inlet. They went
into the cabin to begin cleaning. Eddie pulled up to the seawall,
stopping the boat. Tom showed Trent how to secure the boat to the
pilings.

"Did you catch a fish for me?" Yoshi asked as he walked up to the
Lady Guinevere.

"We caught a few. We'll clean them for you," Brad said.

"No, I'll clean the fish," Yoshi said. "Thanks for catching them.
We're going to have a great meal tonight."

Jack and Brad helped Yoshi carry the fish to the cleaning table.
Trent came over and asked if he could watch. Jack nodded. Trent
watched Yoshi filet the large fish.

"That's so cool," Trent said. "Can you guys do that too?"

Brad chuckled and said, "I can filet them, but not as fast as Yoshi
can. He makes it look easy."

Yoshi laughed. "It is easy if you do it enough. Before coming to
America, I worked in a fish market. I have cleaned fish since I was
a boy much younger than you are."

Brad, Jack, and Trent watched Yoshi for a few minutes before heading
back to the boat. Eddie gave Trent a brush and took him out on the
bow so he could teach him how to clean the boat. Trent listened and
did as Eddie told him. They worked their way aft, scrubbing and
rinsing the saltwater from the boat.

"That doesn't take long," Trent said after the boys finished cleaning.

"No, not with everyone working together," Brad said.

The girls came out of the cabin. They told the boys they'd finished
inside and that they were ready to go. The teens gathered their
things and headed for the house.

Marge, Anne, Don, and Marc sat at one of the tables on the patio.
When the teens walked up, Don asked about their fishing trip. The
group began telling the adults about their success.

"We're planning to have dinner at about six. What are you kids
going to do this afternoon?" Marge said.

"I want to go for a swim and relax in the sun for a little while,"
Sally said.

"Honey, Fran called earlier and she wants you to call her back,"
Anne said.

Nodding, Sally went into the house. She found Fran's number and
called her. They talked for fifteen minutes before hanging up.

"I have good news," Sally said when she returned to the patio.
"Fran and Randy want to come down and show us the pilot for the
television show."

"That's great. When are they coming down?" Jack said.

"They'll be here on Monday," Sally replied. "I asked her to send
the CD, but she said that she and Randy wanted to be here when we
watched it."

"Will they be staying with us?" Don asked.

"I don't know, Uncle Don, I didn't ask her. Would it be okay?"

"Sure, if they need me to, I can have them flown down too," Don told
his niece.

"Thanks, I'll call Fran back and tell her." Sally ran back into the
house. "They said thank you and that they'll stay with us," Sally
announced when she came back.

"Who is Sally talking about?" Trent asked Kim.

"Fran and Randy. They taped one of our tournaments for ESPN. We
might be on television," Kim said.

"That's so cool!"

"Yeah, but if ESPN doesn't want to run it, we might start our own
production company. We have a lot of great ideas, well, Sally does."

"The ideas are all of ours," Sally said. "I'm going swimming."

The teens headed down to the pool. Kim held Trent's hand, leading
him into the cabana. She giggled at the startled look on his face
when everyone began stripping. Kim removed her top, shorts, and the
bottom of her bikini.

"We have to shower before we swim," Kim said. "Take your clothes
off."

Trent noticed that everyone was already naked. He quickly shed his
shirt and shorts, blushing as he removed his briefs. Kim pulled him
into one of the large shower rooms, following the rest of the team.

"Here, wash my back," Kim said as she handed Trent a bar of soap.

Trent began rubbing the soap against Kim's body. He glanced around,
noticing that everyone was washing someone else. When Kathy began
washing his back, Trent jumped. Kim felt his body jerk and turned
around. She grinned when she saw Kathy standing behind Trent.

Taking his wrists in her hands, Kim pulled Trent's hands to her
shoulders. "Do my front too."

Trent slowly moved the bar of soap over Kim's shoulders and upper
chest. She told him to make sure he washed her breasts and he did.
Kim took the soap from Trent and washed his chest. As she soaped his
genitals, Trent gasped.

The teens finished in the shower. Trent felt relieved that he
wasn't the only boy with an erection. The group went out to the open
area of the cabana and then outside. Trent hesitated, but Molly
pushed him out the door. Laughing, the teens jumped into the pool.

Trent looked toward the house. He saw the adults sitting on the
patio, but realized that they weren't looking at the pool. Kim
jumped on his back, wrapping her legs around his waist.

"This is fun, isn't it?" Kim said. She kissed Trent's ear. "I love
swimming!"

Kim slid off Trent's back. She moved in front of him, stretched up,
and gave him a kiss. Kim splashed him and started swimming away.
Trent went after her.

The group splashed and began dunking each other. Trent quickly
noticed that no one paid any attention to who dunked or splashed.
Soon, he joined in.

"That was great," Kim said as she sat on one of the lounges next to
Trent. "Do you want a soda or something?"

"Um, yeah, that would be great," Trent replied.

"I'm going for sodas. Anyone want one?" Kim said.

Everyone decided that a soda would be great. Molly and Brad got up,
following Kim to the house so they could help her carry the sodas
back to the pool. Trent watched as the three teen walked past the
adults to the bar.

Kim handed out the cans of soda she carried back with her. Molly
and Brad did the same thing and then sat down. While drinking their
sodas, the teens talked about the fishing trip. Trent listened to
them discuss what they felt they did right and what they needed to
work on.

"We need to get faster when we reset the lines," Eddie said. "The
longer the teasers are out of the water the less chance we have for
catching fish."

"We'll practice that this week," Jack said. "We can go out and just
set, clear, and reset the teasers until we can do it faster."

"I think we should go back over an area after we catch a fish. We
always seem to just keep going," Molly said.

"That's a good idea, Molly. We should mark the places we catch the
fish on the chart plotter so we can go back," Tom said.

"After we work an area until we're not catching fish, we can move
on," Kathy said.

The teens continued talking about how to improve their fishing
skills. Taking a short break, they all jumped into the pool to cool
off. They swam in the refreshing water for a few minutes and then
got out. Jack suggested they get dressed and ready for the barbeque.

Trent and Kim came out of the cabana dressed in shorts and tee
shirts. They stood near the pool waiting for the rest of the group
to finish dressing. Kim pulled Trent's arm over her shoulder and put
her arm around his waist.

"Kim, am I your boyfriend now?" Trent said.

"You're my friend and you're a boy," Kim said. She giggled as she
tightened her arm around him.

"That's not what I mean."

"I know. I'm teasing you, Trent. As far as us being boyfriend and
girlfriend, I think we should just see how things go. I do like you.
I like you a lot. After Tom and I decided to move on, I felt that I
wanted to take some time before I got into another relationship."
Kim turned, facing Trent. She stretched up and gave him a kiss.

"I'm not seeing anyone else so for now, we can be a couple. That is
if that's what you want. If you find another girl that you want to
mess around with, I'll understand. If I decide to fool around with
another boy, I don't want you to get pissed off at me."

"Kim, I like you a lot too. I want nothing more than to be your
boyfriend." Trent chuckled as he moved his hands to Kim's butt. "I
don't know anyone except you guys so I doubt I'll find anyone to fool
around with any time soon. I promise I'll try not to get jealous if
you want to go out with someone else."

Grinning, Kim kissed Trent again. They held their kiss until the
rest of the group filed out of the cabana and made silly comments.
Together, the team walked to the house. They stopped on the patio to
talk with their parents.

"Hi, Trent, did you have a good time fishing today?" Trent's mom
asked him when she walked out of the house.

"You wouldn't believe how much fun I had today, Mom. I caught a
blue marlin and a couple dolphins," Trent told his mother.

"That's wonderful! Did you get seasick?"

"No, I didn't feel the least bit queasy today. The boat is amazing."

"Maybe you'll go fishing with us one of these days, Ms McBride," Kim
said.

"Thank you, I'd like that very much," Jodie said.

"We're planning to practice this week. You can go with us if you'd
like to." Kim giggled and bumped against Trent. "Trent needs a lot
of practice, but for his first time, he did great!"

"Mom, everyone said I could fish with the team. Can I fish the
tournament next weekend?" Trent said.

"We didn't say you could fish with the team. We said you could be a
member of the team if you want to," Kim said.

Jodie McBride smiled as she looked at her son and Kim. "I don't see
why not, Trent. If you want to fish, go for it."

"Thanks, Mom. Um, can I stay on the boat next Friday night? Tom
said that they plan to stay at the hotel's marina the night before
the tournament."

"Yes, you can stay. After all, you are part of the team, aren't you?"

"Yes he is! Thank you, Ms. McBride," Kim said.

Jodie chuckled as Kim pulled Trent toward the rest of the teens.
Excitedly, Kim told them that Trent's mom said he could fish and be
part of the team. Everyone told Trent that they were happy that he
wanted to join them.

Jenny grabbed Trent's arm. She led him into the house and over to
where her mom sat with the rest of the women.

"Mom, Trent needs to get uniforms for the fishing team. Do you
think you can have them by next Friday?" Jenny asked Ellen.

"I don't know, Honey. I will try to get them on time. Do you know
your sizes, Trent?"

"I can give them to you, Ellen," Jodie said. She took a piece of
paper and a pen from her purse. Jodie wrote down Trent's sizes and
handed the paper to Ellen.

"Thanks, Mom. Thanks, Mrs. Shockley," Trent said.

"You're welcome, Trent. I'll take care of this first thing Monday
morning," Ellen said.

Jenny and Trent thanked their moms again. They went back outside to
join the rest of the teens.

"I think I can get the uniforms ordered and in this week.
Everything is up in the air right now," Ellen said.

"What's going on?" Marge said.

"The owner told me that she plans to sell the shop and retire. She
said that she's going to list the business with a broker in the next
week or so. None of us, me or the women that work for her, knows
what our futures hold," Ellen said.

"That's terrible, Ellen. What are you going to do?" Anne said.

Ellen shrugged her shoulders. "I don't have to work, but I love
working in the shop. Maybe Harry will give me a job at the boatyard
so I don't go stir crazy."

"I hope that if she does sell Sheer Delights, the new owner will
keep it the same. I just love that shop," Sarah said.

"What kind of shop is it?" Jodie said.

"Sheer Delights is an upscale lingerie shop in West Palm. We carry
top of the line items. The biggest part of our business is lingerie,
but we also sell trendy clothing," Ellen said.

"Do you know how much the owner is asking for the business?" Anne
said.

"No, but it will be a lot. The shop is in one of the best locations
on Worth Avenue and we carry several million dollars of inventory."

"Well, if the new owners are smart, they'll keep you and the other
women. You know everything about that business, don't you?" Marge
said.

"I've been in charge of selecting our lines, ordering, and running
the shop for several years. Mrs. Akins is getting old and she
doesn't have much to do with the day to day operations anymore. I
know that she doesn't have any family that's interested in the
business. Her three children are all successful doctors. All three
of them live in other parts of the country," Ellen said.

Yoshi came into the house. He greeted the women and asked Anne and
Marge if he could work in the kitchen. Marge laughed. Anne told him
to make himself at home. The women left the breakfast nook and went
outside. They sat with the men at the tables.

"Who'd like a drink?" Don said.

Don and Marc took drink orders from the group of adults. Marge
asked her husband to find Laura and tell her to come outside with the
rest of the group. He found Laura in the laundry room and told her
what Marge said. Laura smiled, telling Don she'd be out in a few
minutes.

Yoshi prepared grilled dolphin steaks, wild rice, salad, and a
medley of other items. Jeri, April, Frank, and Erin helped Yoshi
serve the meal. Marc insisted that they join the rest of the group
and enjoy the food.

"Sally, I reviewed the contract from Ande Line. Everything is in
order. I think you kids should go ahead and enter into the
agreement. The only thing I added is a clause that allows us to
renegotiate if you produce a television program," Joel said.

"Great, thank you, Mr. Levinson. Would you take care of it please?"
Sally said. She turned to the rest of the team. "That's okay, isn't
it?"

Everyone said that they agreed with Sally. When Trent didn't say
anything, Kim nudged him.

"Is it okay with you?" Kim said to Trent.

"What?"

"We're voting on entering into a sponsorship agreement with Ande
Line. You're a member of the team and you have to vote too."

"Um, yeah, I guess it's okay. I don't know what you're talking
about though."

"Ande Line offered to be one of your sponsors. They will give the
team money and other things for putting their name on the boat and
endorsing their product. Ande is offering to pay the entrance fees
for the tournaments the team fishes. We have a couple other sponsors
that pay us too. I made sure that the monies can be pooled and used
for travel and other expenses," Joel said.

"That's cool. Why wouldn't we agree to a sponsorship?" Trent asked.

"We won't enter into an agreement with anyone that tries to tell us
how, where, or when to fish. They have to agree to do it on our
terms," Sally said.

"I see. Okay, then I vote yes," Trent said with a chuckle. "I
always thought you voted by a show of hands or a ballot."

"We don't do that. We throw out an item and everyone agrees or not.
Those who disagree, give their reasons why. We talk about it and
then decide," Jenny said. "Everyone has an equal say in all of the
decisions about the team and the boat."

"Do your parents ever get involved?" Trent said.

"They will if we ask them to. Our parents let us make our own
decisions and mistakes. We know that if we screw up we'll lose our
privileges," Tom said. The parents listened, nodding when Tom made
the statement.

"Let's review the tape from today. We can see what we need to do to
get faster," Kathy said.

"That's a great idea, Kathy. I'll run down and get the tape from
the boat," Brad said. He headed to the boat to retrieve the tape.
The rest of the team went into the house.

Brad gave Jack the tape so he could load it into the VCR. The teens
sat in the recreation room and began watching the video of the day's
fishing. Kim held Trent's hand as they watched the action. Jack
used the remote to fast-forward past the parts where there was
nothing happening.

"It sounds like Trent enjoyed himself today," Laura said to Jodie.

"Yes it did. I haven't seen him this happy in a long time," Jodie
replied and then she chuckled. "I have a feeling that fishing isn't
the only thing that's making him happy."

Marc laughed and said, "That's true, Jodie. Spending time with
naked girls will make a young man smile. I know it works for me."

Jodie smiled and nodded. "I'm sure that has something to do with it
too, Marc. I know that you folks have told me how you feel about
that, but I'm still having trouble wrapping my arms around the idea."
Jodie chuckled. "I guess I'm too conservative and old fashion."

"Jodie, did you tell Trent not to smoke?" Don said. Jodie nodded.
"Did you tell him not to drink?" Once again, she nodded her head.
She also smiled, realizing where Don was going. "It didn't do any
good, did it? Kids have minds of their own and they have freewill.
We, as parents, can try to prevent our kids from exercising their
freewill and we can try to think for them, but I don't think it will
work.

"When I was young, I did what I wanted to do. It wasn't necessarily
what my parents told me to do. By the time kids are the ages our
kids are, they're thinking for themselves. We can provide guidance,
but we can't think for them. We have decided to let them grow
without having to fear reprisal or feel guilty about their choices.
Trent is your son and you can raise him anyway you choose. We're not
trying to tell you what's right or wrong for Trent. That being said,
we're not going to change the way we choose to raise our kids because
someone might not agree with us.

"All of us know that our kids are sexual active. We know that they
are also unconcerned about nudity. We don't encourage them, but we
don't interfere either. I can tell you that we don't have to wonder
what they're doing or if they're getting into trouble."

"When Trent's father was alive, we didn't have any trouble with him
either. After my husband died, Trent seemed to go off the deep end.
He became angry and defiant. It didn't matter what I told him to do.
He went the opposite way. That's one of the reasons I decided to
move down here," Jodie said.

Marge put her hand on Jodie's arm. "That's just geography, Jodie.
No matter where you go, you're there. Behavior comes from within,
not from where you live. There are good people and bad people
everywhere. If our children choose to hang around with
troublemakers, they'll get into trouble. Fortunately, we can give
them an alternative. So far, they're more interested in the boat and
the fishing team than hanging around with kids that may sway them."

"We also feel it's important to be involved with the kids. That's
why we go to their tournaments, and sometimes to the club meetings.
It's important to support them anyway we can when the kids are doing
the right things," Sarah said.

"You can afford it. I don't know that I can afford to take time off
or pay for trips when the kids travel," Jodie said.

"Don't worry about it. We can afford it and you're more than
welcome to join us," Harry said. He glanced at the other adults,
smiling when he saw all of them nodding. "Eleven or twelve people
aren't any more expensive than ten."

"I can't ask you to pay for me to travel with the team," Jodie said.

"Then don't ask. Just come with us," Jack Waters said.

"Don't forget, we have Tomiko now. When we travel with the kids,
we'll be taking the yacht," Anne said.

"Are you sure? I would love to go with you and support Trent. Over
the past two years, I haven't been there for him as much as I should
have. I spent time with his father when he became ill and then went
into a funk when he passed away," Jodie said.

"I can't imagine how hard losing your husband must have been, but at
some point, you have to move on and get back to life. I'm sure he
wouldn't have wanted you to spend the rest of your life moping
around," Ellen said.

Jodie nodded as she remembered the promise she made to her husband a
few days before his death. He told her she had to move on and not to
mourn him. As hard as it was, she agreed. Since his death, she
hadn't dated or had a desire to. She thought that she could be
content raising Trent and working. Now, after talking to her new
friends, she wondered if she could move on. She wondered if she
could meet someone and be happy again. The pain of her husband's
death wasn't nearly as bad as it had been in the past two years.

"Hal made me promise to move on and live. So far, I haven't kept
that promise. Some days I feel that I want to, but there are days
that I can't even think about it. I feel that I'm on an emotional
roller-coaster," Jodie said.

"I can tell you that living in the past is unhealthy. I'm not
suggesting you forget the past, but don't live in it. If you do, you
may find yourself alone. I almost made that mistake, but with the
help of my friends and family, I was able to get over a few bad times
from my youth, and start living in the present and for the future,"
Sarah said.

Ellen laughed and said, "I still remember the day we threw the old
Sarah overboard."

"Yup, and I've never looked back!"

The teens came out of the house, pausing to tell their parents they
were going for a swim. They headed for the pool, stripping off their
clothes and tossing them onto the lounge chairs. They all jumped
into the water and began horsing around.

"I think I'm going to join the kids," Don said. He turned to Jodie.
"We have suits in the cabana if you're not ready to go skinny-dipping."

Jodie thanked Don. The adults got up and walked toward the pool.

While the teens swam and played, no one noticed that the adults were
heading toward the cabana.

"Hi, Honey, are you having a good time?" Jodie asked her son. Her
voice trembled as she stood near Trent. In the cabana, she decided
to go skinny-dipping with the rest of the group.

Trent spun around, facing his mom. "MOM!" Trent said, causing Jodie
to chuckle.

Trent didn't notice his mother was as naked as he was for a moment.
When he did, he gasped in shock. Jodie laughed and shook her head.

"I guess you're surprised, aren't you?" Jodie said. Trent tried not
to look at his mom as he nodded. "So am I, Trent, so am I. Mrs.
Durham and the other women talked me into this. I hope you're not
mad at me."

"Um, I was thinking the same thing, Mom. I hope you're not mad at
me," Trent replied.

"No, I'm not. The other parents told me that the kids swam naked.
They told me the adults did too. I'm fine with this as long as you
are," Jodie said. She blushed, but resolved to get past her
embarrassment.

"Mom, I don't know what to think anymore. A few days ago, I was
sure that living in Florida would suck. I didn't think I'd make any
friends or have anything to do. Now, I have friends and I'm on a
fishing team. Can you believe it?"

"It's hard for me to believe it too, Trent. Listen, I have been
thinking about a few things and I want to ask you how you feel. You
know that I love your father. Losing him was as hard for me as it
was for you. Maybe harder. I always thought that Dad and I would
grow old together." Jodie felt tears rolling down her cheeks.
"Trent, I can't spend the rest of my life hurting and alone. I think
it's time for me to get busy living instead of grieving for your
father."

Trent glanced around at the pool full of naked adults and teens. He
gazed into his mom's tear filled eyes and smiled. "Mom, I think it's
time for both of us to start living again. I can't tell you how
sorry I am for the way I acted before. I promise to be a good kid
and stop making you worry."

Jodie cried. Forgetting she was naked, she wrapped her arms around
her son, hugging him tightly. "Thank you for understanding, Trent."

Trent started to chuckle. Jodie pulled her head back, looking into
his eyes. He released his mom, stepped back, and laughed. "I guess
we're both moving on, aren't we, Mom?"

"Yes we are! And it's well past the time we do. Please always
remember that I love you and your father. No matter what happens
from here on out, that will never change."

"Does that mean you're going to find a boyfriend?" Trent said.

"Would it bother you if I did?"

"No, not as long as he likes skinny dipping," Trent said and they
both laughed. He looked into his mom's eyes. "You are very pretty,
Mom."

"Why thank you, Trent. You're very handsome," Jodie said. They
laughed again.

"I'm going to go over by Kim and the others, Mom. Have fun," Trent
said.

"I plan to have fun. You like Kim a lot, don't you?"

"Yes, but I'm not sure she likes me as much as I like her."

"Why do you say that?" Jodie said.

"Well, she said that she isn't looking for a boyfriend, not a steady
boyfriend. She asked me not to get jealous if she went out with
another guy. Mom, I don't know if I can help it."

"Trent, you and Kim just met. No one knows what the future holds.
I wouldn't worry about it. From what the other parents tell me, all
of their kids are friends with each other. Don't let jealousy get in
the way of friendship. Who knows, maybe you'll find another girl
that you want to date. You wouldn't want Kim to be jealous and stop
liking you if you did, would you?"

"I don't know, Mom. I've never had a real girlfriend before. I
used to think that girl I dated was my girlfriend, but I know that
she wasn't. I screwed that up before it started."

"Learn from you past, don't live in it," Jodie said, repeating the
advice she heard a few minutes earlier.

"I know, Mom." Trent grinned. "Have fun. I'm going to go talk to
Kim."

Jodie smiled and nodded. She watched her son swim toward the group
of teens and then moved toward the adults.

"Is everything okay?" Laura said as Jodie moved closer.

"Laura, I think everything is going to be great. Do me a favor, if
you see me acting bitchy, let me know, will you?"

"Sure thing. Now, we need to find you a man," Laura said as she
chuckled.

"Um, I think I'll take my time," Jodie said.

"I wasn't talking about finding you another husband, Sweetie. I'm
talking about getting you laid," Laura said with a chuckle.

Jodie blushed and shook her head. "You talk about sex like it's
going out to dinner."

"It's much better than that! Hell, if you hang around here long
enough, you learn that sex is more of a sport than anything else.
Don't get me wrong. I love Joel and making love with him is as close
to heaven as I've ever been. I also love getting fucked!"

"My God, Laura! How can you say something like that?"

"It's easy. Don't you remember high school?"

Jodie giggled and blushed. "That was a long time ago and we were
kids."

"I'm still a kid at heart, Jodie. I can't tell you how much fun it
is to let my hair down and act like a teenager," Laura said.

Joel came over and put his hands around Laura. He kissed her
shoulder, gazed at Jodie, and then he smiled. "What are you two
talking about?"

"I was telling Jodie how much fun we have, Honey," Laura said.

"We do have fun with this group, don't we? It's so nice to get away
from the grind and let loose once in a while. I used to think that
working my ass off was the most important thing to me. Now I realize
that you can't measure success in terms of how much you have. Not
the material things anyway. Friends are far more important," Joel
said.

Nodding, Jodie said, "Yes, I'm learning that quickly. I can't
believe all that's happened in two days. Yesterday I didn't know any
of you except Laura, and now I standing in the pool at a mansion,
stark naked, and talking about things I never thought I would."

"You'll find things move very fast around here, Jodie. It seems
that everyday is an adventure," Laura said.

"You'll also find that all of these people are great. They all love
to have fun. Don, Mark, Marge, and Anne are four of the most
generous people you'll ever meet. So are the rest of the parents.
They are willing to share their wealth, but more importantly, they
share their time," Joel said.

Laura laughed and said, "Not only that, the women share their
husbands too!"

Jodie jerked her head toward Laura. "What?"

"As I told you, sex is a sport. At times, everyone plays," Laura
said.

"I don't know if you're trying to shock me or warn me," Jodie said.

"I'm not trying to do either one. I'm just telling you the way it
is. It's better to be forewarned that to be surprised. If someone
starts fooling around, you should know that we all accept it. Think
about it. What would think if you saw Joel fooling around with one
of the other women?"

"I'd think he was cheating on you," Jodie replied.

"You see what I mean? I know he isn't cheating on me any more than
I'm cheating on him if I do something. I know Joel loves me and he
knows I love him. Sex doesn't change that. While it doesn't happen
often, we've mixed it up occasionally," Laura said.

"That reminds me of those two boys we went out with our senior year.
Do you remember them?"

Laura laughed. Joel hugged Laura to his chest and asked her about it.

"Jodie and I switched boys one night, Sweetie. We'd been drinking
and decided to surprise the boys," Laura said.

"What did they do?" Joel asked.

"They went along with it that night, but the next day they told us
they never wanted to see us again. They called us whores!" Jodie said.

"Not only that, they blabbed to our friends," Laura said. "You
never have to worry about anything like that around here."

Marge and Ellen came over to tell Jodie, Laura, and Joel that the
rest of the adults were getting out of the pool to have a drink.
They followed the two women to the lounge chairs, each of them
sitting on one. Don and Jack Waters went to the patio to mix drinks
for the group.

Jack and Sally sat on the edge of the pool with Eddie and Kathy.
They watched the other kids splashing and dunking each other.

"Do you think things will work out with Trent?" Kathy said as she
watched him hugging Kim.

"I don't know, Kathy. He seems nice and willing to learn. I think
my sister likes him a lot even though she may say differently. Kim
doesn't usually warm up to boys as fast as she has with Trent," Jack
said.

"If you ask me, Kim wants everyone to think she doesn't want a
steady boyfriend when she really does. No one wants to be alone,"
Sally said and then she giggled. "Besides that, I think she likes
the fact that Trent is virgin. She gets to train him."

"Did Fran say anything about ESPN? Do you know if they're going to
run the pilot?" Kathy said.

"She said that she would talk to us when she and Randy came down
here. If ESPN doesn't want to run it, we should see about doing it
ourselves. It would be a way to earn money for the team," Sally
said. "I've been researching how to produce a television show. It
doesn't seem to be too hard if you ask me."

"What would we have to do?" Kathy said.

"For the type of show we want to do we'd just have to tape our
fishing and then find a network to air it. I still think that if we
mix fishing with teaching how to fish, we could do something that
would appeal to one of the outdoor sports channels. Maybe Fran and
Randy can help us. We could make them part of the production
company," Sally said.

"I remember talking about doing that. I think it's a good idea
too," Eddie said.

Jack smiled and said, "I'll bet we could get more money from our
sponsors if we mention their names on the shows. We could say how
much we like Shimano fishing equipment as well as the Marlin Magic
lures and Ande line. They have to pay for television advertising,
don't they?"

"I'm sure they do. Maybe we could pick up more sponsors too. It
would be nice if the boat and team became self-sufficient and we
didn't have to depend on our parents for money," Kathy said.

The other teens moved over to where Jack, Sally, Kathy, and Eddie
sat on the edge of the pool. Sally told the others what they'd been
talking about when the rest of them came over.

They all climbed out of the pool and went to the cabana to rinse
off. Jack suggested they sit at the patio table and continue talking
about the possibility of producing a television show after they
dressed.

"What do you guys think about doing shows on how to fish as well as
showing our fishing?" Sally said.

"I think it's a good idea. We could add an educational segment to
each show and talk about how we fished, or about how we planned to
fish. We could start with the basics about tackle and move on to
technique," Tom said.

"What about doing a few shows where it's all girls? That might help
make other girls interested in the sport," Kim said. Everyone nodded
in agreement.

"It would make the guys interested, that's for sure," Trent said.

"No kidding!" Brad said.

The teens changed the subject and began talking about preparing for
the upcoming club tournament. They agreed to fish at least two times
before the tournament. Sally reminded them that Fran and Randy would
be there on Monday and that they would have to spend time with them.

At nine thirty, the parents came to the patio. Harry and Ellen told
Eddie and Jenny it was time to leave. The rest of the parents said
it was time to go too.

Kim took Trent's hand. She led him through the house to the back.
Wrapping her arms around him, Kim gave Trent a kiss.

"Will you come over tomorrow?" Kim said.

"I will if my mom will let me. I hope she does," Trent said.

Kim giggled. "So do I. I have to clean the house, but that doesn't
take long."

"I thought Molly's mom cleaned the houses."

"No, we have to clean the guesthouse. Mrs. Durham only takes care
of the big house," Kim said.

The group all said goodbye. Kim asked Trent's mom if he could come
over the next day. Jodie smiled and said, "We have to come back to
get my car, Kim. I've had a few drinks and I don't want to drive."

"Cool! I'll see you tomorrow," Kim replied with a giggle.

Jack, Tom, Kim, and Sally went to their house. They flopped on the
couches and relaxed.

"I think that Trent is going to be a good fisherman," Kim said. "He
sure tries hard."

"He listens too," Jack said.

"Yeah, I should take lessons from him," Kim said. "I screwed up big
time."

"Everything worked out, Kim. Just don't jump to conclusions again,"
Tom said.

Sally giggled. "I think you wanted everything to be perfect. When
you thought that Trent wouldn't kiss you, you thought he was a jerk.
If you ask me, you like him a lot."

"I do like him, Sally. I know I've only known him a few days, but I
can tell."

"What happened to the girl that didn't want a committed relationship
with anyone?" Tom said.

Kim shrugged her shoulders. "Who says I do?"

Tom moved next to Kim. He put his arm around her shoulders, pulling
her close. "You know that there's no rule that says you can't change
your mind, don't you? No one is going to think any less of you if
you decide that you like Trent and want to be his girlfriend. Kim,
I, we, want you to be happy."

Kim nodded. She smiled up at Tom and then she giggled. "I wish I
knew what I wanted."

"You don't have to know, not right now. We're starting out fresh
down here and we can do whatever we want to do. We have great
parents, great friends, and we're fishing. What more could we ask
for?" Jack said.

"I know, Jack," Kim said.

"There's something else we have. We have each other. No matter
what happens, we'll always be family," Tom said.

"That's so true! It's easy to get wrapped up in everything that's
going on, but in the end, family is what counts the most. Sometimes
I forget just how fortunate we are," Sally said.

Tom tightened his grip on Kim for a moment and then removed his arm.
Sally snuggled against Jack, giggling when he moved her hand to his
crotch. He told Kim and Tom goodnight, took Sally's hand in his, and
led her to their bedroom.

"I think I'll go to bed too. I'm tired," Kim said.

Tom agreed. They went to their rooms and to bed for the night.

"You're very quiet," Jodie said to Trent as he drove toward home.

"I'm thinking about today, Mom. It was one of the best days I've
had in a very long time."

"I know, Son. It was for me too. Trent, you're not doing anything
you aren't comfortable doing in order to fit in, are you?"

"Heck no, Mom! I love fishing and going on the boat. I can't
believe they invited me to be part of the team."

"They all seem very nice, Son. I enjoy being with their parents,"
Jodie said.

Trent laughed and said, "Yeah, we're not in Iowa anymore, are we?"

"No, we're certainly not in Iowa. The parents invited me to go to
your tournaments when you travel with the team. It won't bother you
if I go, will it?"

"No, why would it bother me?"

"I don't know. Before we moved, it seemed that you didn't want to
be around me. We'd grown apart," Jodie said.

"That was then and this is now. I was an asshole, Mom. Sorry about
my language, but that's what I was. I didn't think of anyone except
me."

"I wasn't much better, Trent. I lashed out at you rather than
trying to understand. I think it was as much my fault as yours."

Trent nodded. He glanced at his mom and smiled. "How did you like
skinny dipping?"

Jodie and Trent laughed. She looked across the car and smiled at
Trent. "Honestly, I can't remember the last time I had that much
fun. It's been years. I'll admit it scared me at first, but after a
little while, I felt very comfortable." Jodie laughed. "I have to
say that I never thought I'd do that with you though."

Trent blushed as he nodded his head. He pulled into the driveway,
parking the car. Trent and Jodie went into the house and he told him
mom goodnight. Trent went to his room and went to bed.

"Hi, Dad," Jodie said as she sat down in the living room.

"Hi. Did you have a good time?" Sid said as he lowered the volume
on the television.

"Yes, in fact, I had a great time, Dad." Jodie glanced at Sid and
smiled. "Dad, I've decided to stop mourning Hal and get on with my
life. Do you think it's too soon?"

"What I think isn't important, Jodie. That's entirely up to you.
Regardless of what you decide, I'll support you," Sid said.

"Dad, why didn't you start dating after Mom died?"

"Who said I didn't?"

"You never said anything to me," Jodie said.

"I know. I've been seeing a woman for a while now," Sid replied.

Jodie smiled. "How long have you been dating her? Who is it?"

"Her name is Jane, Jane Knowles."

"When am I going to meet her, Dad?"

"Jane will be here tomorrow for dinner, Jodie."

"Dad, why didn't you tell me you were dating?"

"I wanted to wait until you settled in down here. I'm not trying to
hide anything, but I thought it would be better to wait. Jane is
younger than I am by several years."

"How old is she?"

"Jane's forty. She used to work for me," Sid said.

"Did you know her before Mom's accident?"

"Yes."

"Can I ask how well you knew her?"

"Jodie, it's no secret that your mom and I had our troubles after
you and Trent moved to Iowa. We'd grown apart and she started seeing
another man. I hired Jane and we began seeing one another after
work. Mom and I came to an agreement and decided that we'd divorce.
Then she and her friend died in the accident. Jane and I have been
together ever since."

"You never told me that mom was with someone else, Dad. God, I
can't believe it!" Jodie said.

"I didn't see any reason to bring it up. What happened between your
mother and me was our business. Telling you wouldn't have served any
purpose. Don't get me wrong, I loved your mother and still do. We
just didn't do the things necessary to keep our relationship alive.
I spent too much time in the shop and too little time paying
attention to her. I don't blame her for what she did. Jodie, you
shouldn't let it affect you either."

"Mom's been gone for five years, Dad. How long was this going on?"

"About five years before she died. I'm surprised she never said
anything to you."

"So am I, Dad. What about Jane, was she married?"

"No, Jane had never been married. She came into my shop one day and
applied for a job. Your mother hired her. It gave your mom time
away from the shop. She never liked working in the shop, Jodie. She
did it because we started the business together, but after a few
years, she hated it."

"I know Mom didn't like working in the shop, but I didn't realize
that she hated it, or you."

Sid laughed. "We didn't hate each other, Jodie. We may have grown
apart, but we never hated one another."

"This is turning out to be an eye opener for me. I'm learning
things about my family and myself that I never knew," Jodie said with
a chuckle.

"How so?"

"Well, first I learn that my parents were having affairs," Jodie
began, but Sid stopped her.

"We weren't having affairs, Jodie. We had relationships with other
people. There's a difference," Sid said sharply.

"Sorry, Dad. Anyway, I learned that my parents had relationships I
didn't know about and then I found out I like skinny-dipping." Jodie
chuckled when Sid raised his eyebrows. "I went skinny-dipping today
at the Graham's house."

"Where was Trent?"

"He was in the pool with the rest of us, Dad." Jodie paused,
waiting for her father's reaction. Sid began laughing. "What's so
funny?"

"Nothing, Honey. I find it amusing, that's all."

"Well, I came to the decision that it's time to get on with my life,
Dad." Sid smiled and nodded his head. "So, tell me about Jane."

"Not too much to tell. She lives here with me. Jane is at her
sister's house visiting this week. She'll be back tomorrow morning.
She works at the shop too. I'm sure you'll get along fine with her,
but I worry about Trent."

"Trent will be fine, Dad. He's going to be spending a lot of time
fishing from the sounds of it. Oh, and I think he has a girlfriend.
He's sweet on Kim, one of the girls he fishes with."

"Isn't she the cute blonde?" Sid said, knowing full well who Kim was.

"Yup, that's her."

"Trent could have found worse kids to hang around with, Jodie."

"Don't I know it, Dad! The kids are all nice and as polite as
anyone I've met. So are their parents. I have a feeling that I'm
going to like spending time with them. Oh, they asked me to come
along when the kids go on their tournaments. Do you think I'll be
able to take some time off?"

"That won't be a problem. Jane and I have been running the shop for
years. Now that you're working, we hope to get some time off too.
I'm sure we'll work it out. It's going to take you a few weeks to
learn, but once you do, I plan to take a vacation. In the past, I've
had to close the shop for a few days," Sid said.

"I'll do whatever it takes, Dad. Thank you for taking Trent and me
in. I hope that we'll be able to get a place of our own someday. I
have money from the life insurance, but I planned to use it for
Trent's education."

"Don't worry about a thing. I love having you and Trent here. Now,
I think it's time to go to bed. I have to open the shop in the
morning."

Jodie got up. She went over to her father, leaned down, and kissed
his cheek. "We have to open the shop in the morning, Dad. Goodnight."

Sid grinned. He got out of his chair, put his arm around Jodie's
waist, and said, "Sorry for hiding Jane, but I hope you can
understand why I did it."

"Dad, I would have accepted Jane. I'm happy you aren't alone,"
Jodie said.

They turned off the lights and went to their rooms. Jodie chuckled
as she realized that the house showed a woman's touch. In her room,
she changed into a pair of pajamas. She climbed into bed, set the
alarm, turned off the lamp, and began thinking about the day.

Jodie thought about the things Laura told her. She also thought
about swimming in a pool full of naked people. Giggling to herself,
she tried to draw a mental image of the men. She sighed, realizing
that Laura was right about her need for male contact. It had been
too long since she enjoyed the feeling of a man's touch. Her
husband's illness put a stop to their sexual activity long before the
cancer took his life.

Moving her hand to her stomach, Jodie gently rubbed herself. She
felt a familiar, but somehow forgotten tingle in her loins. Taking a
deep breath, she allowed her hand to move under the elastic waistband
of her shorty pajama bottoms. Jodie raked her fingertips through her
pubic hair and let out a soft moan. She remembered the hours her
late husband rubbed her there and how much she enjoyed the feeling of
his touch.

Spreading her legs, Jodie ventured deeper. She gently stroked her
labia, twisting on the bed as her fingers parted the swollen flesh.
Jodie used her other hand to reach under her top and knead her
breast. Closing her eyes, she masturbated for the first time in over
three years. Her fingers moved back and forth over her clitoris.
Her other hand gripped her breast. She pinched her nipple, mixing
pain with pleasure.

Jodie rolled over and humped against her hand. She buried her face
in the pillow to muffle her moans. Tears flowed from her eyes as she
relished the intense sensation of her orgasm. Her body jerked and
quivered as one climax gave way to another. Finally, her sex became
too sensitive and she removed her hand. Jodie gasped for breath as
she came down from the wonderful feeling only an orgasm could provide.

A few moments later, Jodie rolled onto her side. She pulled her
legs up into a fetal position and hugged her pillow. Smiling, she
knew that her friend Laura was right. She needed a man.

The alarm went off at five the next morning, ripping Jodie away from
an erotic dream. She reached over, smacking the snooze button and
tried to recapture the dream. Tossing on the bed, she finally sat
up. She stretched her arms over her head, yawned, and then got up.
Jodie turned off the alarm before the snooze expired. She went to
the bathroom, and took a hot shower.

"Good morning, Dad," Jodie said as she walked into the kitchen.
She'd dressed in slacks and a shirt.

"Good morning, Jodie. Did you sleep well?"

"Yup, I slept like a log." Jodie poured a cup of coffee and sat at
the table with her father.

"I hope we're okay after our little chat last night," Sid said.

"Dad, we're fine. I look forward to meeting Jane."

"She should be here before lunch."

Jodie and her father sipped their coffee. She got up and fried eggs
and sausage for their breakfast. An hour later, they headed to the
tackle shop. Jodie left a note for Trent before she left.

It was close to one when the door of the shop opened and an
attractive woman walked in. Jodie asked the woman if she could help
her, but paused and smiled.

"You must be, Jane," Jodie said.

"Yes," Jane replied.

Jodie extended her hand to shake Jane's hand. "I'm very pleased to
meet you." Jane nodded. "Dad is in back, Jane. I hope we'll get to
spend some time getting to know one another soon."

"I'd like that, Jodie. Sid told me about your husband. I'm sorry."

"Thank you. Things are much better now. My son Trent should be
here soon. I'm sure he'll want to meet you too."

"Jodie, I don't want to cause any problems between you and Sid."

Chuckling, Jodie said, "I should be the one saying that. I'm
thankful that you're allowing my son and me to live with you and Dad
for a while."

Sid came out, pausing for a moment to watch Jodie and Jane. He saw
that both of the women were smiling so he walked over. Jane turned
to Sid and said, "I met Jodie."

Sid chuckled, gave Jane a hug and kiss, and said, "Good. How was
your trip?"

"It was fine. My sister gets under my skin after a few days, but it
was nice to see her again. How are you doing?" Jane kept her arms
around Sid's waist.

"It's been fine, but it's better now that you're home. Are you
going to the house or staying here?" Sid said.

"I think I'll stay here and get to work," Jane said.

"Good, I need help learning what to do around here. Dad hasn't told
me very much yet," Jodie said.

Jane laughed. She released Sid, took Jodie by the arm, and led her
to the back of the shop. "I need a good cup of coffee."

Jane and Jodie sat at the table talking for almost an hour. Trent
came into the shop and walked into the back room. Jodie got up, put
her arm around Trent, and said, "Jane, this is my son, Trent. Trent,
this is Jane. She's grandpa's girlfriend."

Jane stood up and shook hands with Trent. "It's nice to meet you,
Miss…"

"My last name is Knowles, but you can all me Jane, Trent. That is
if your mom doesn't mind."

"That's up to you, Jane."

"I'll call you Ms Knowles for now," Trent said.

Sid came into the backroom. He said hi to Trent and glanced at
Jodie. She smiled and gave her dad a quick nod.

"Did Mr. Nester deliver the new reels yet, Grandpa?" Trent said.

"Not yet, but he may stop by today. It seems that after the club
meeting I'm getting a lot of calls for new reels and line," Sid said.

"What happened?" Jane said.

Sid and Trent told Jane about Sally's presentation and that the
fishing club adopted new rules. She listened, smiling at how excited
Trent seemed to be.

"That's great news, Babe. It looks like sponsoring the team was a
good idea after all," Jane said.

Sid chuckled and nodded. "Jane didn't think sponsoring the team was
a good idea at first, but I think she's changing her mind."

"Yup, I have changed my mind. You were right again, Sid," Jane said.

At dinner that night, Trent told Jane about his fishing trip and the
fun he had. When he slipped and mentioned skinny-dipping, everyone
laughed. Jane assured Trent she wasn't shocked. Jodie told her son
that his grandfather knew about it too.

Later, the four of them sat in the living room. They talked about
Jodie and Trent's move to Florida. Jane said that she looked forward
getting to know them better. At ten, they went to bed. Jodie
chuckled as she watched her father and Jane go into their bedroom.

Jodie followed Trent into his room. She sat on the edge of his bed,
patting the mattress next to her. He sat down and asked what she
wanted.

"How do you feel about your granddad's girlfriend?" Jodie said. She
kept her voice low.

"I think it's cool, Mom. Jane seems nice and I like her."

"I didn't know about her until last night."

Trent shrugged his shoulders. "It doesn't matter, does it? I mean
as long as Grandpa's happy, we should be happy for him."

"I agree with you." Jodie smiled and put her arm around Trent's
shoulders.

Trent and Jodie sat in silence for a few moments. He turned to his
mom and said, "Mom, when are you going to find someone?"

"I don't know, Trent. I haven't thought about it. Would it upset
you if I started dating?"

"Heck no. I think it would be great, Mom."

Jodie nodded. "Thanks, Trent. That means a lot to me. I haven't
met anyone, but now I know that you're okay with it if I do." She
stood up, leaned over, and gave Trent a kiss on the cheek.
"Goodnight, Son."

"Night, Mom. I'll see you in the morning. Do me a favor. Wake me
up when you get up. I have to learn to get up early."

"Okay, Trent. Night," Jodie said as she left the room.
