Several people have requested updates to my progress but have neglected to give me an e-mail address with which to reply. So... I'm replying here. I have a short story about 80% complete and another chapter of Cape Cod Summer about 50% done, but the most I've had time for writing has been this update. Sorry. They're coming. I'm still here. Very sorry to have not posted a new chapter or story. "Real Life"(TM) is still insane and shows little chance of calming down in the near future, so my writing time is extremely limited. I have a new short story partially complete -- needed a little break from Cape Cod Summer -- and I have two new CCS chapters kind of outlined in my head. One of those chapters is partially written. Just thought I would make a post and let people know that I haven't forgotten about the stories, but I just don't have a lot of writing time right now and it'll likely be a couple more weeks before I get anything posted. Enjoy your Thanksgiving!

<issued>2004-10-28T09:45:59-04:00</issued> <modified>2004-10-28T13:52:59Z</modified> <created>2004-10-28T13:52:59Z</created>

CONGRATULATIONS RED SOX!

OK... I wanted to post this a week ago when the "comeback" against the Yankees had started/completed, but I couldn't bring myself to tempt fate (curse?) and jinx the self-described 'bunch of idiots'. Now that it's over, I can post safely and revel in the glory. What a feeling! I've been through two Patriot's SuperBowl wins now in the last couple of years, but I think this Red Sox win is better than both of them combined. I'm a huge football fan, but... come on?! 86 YEARS!? What a rush! Beating the Yankees after going down 3-0 and then sweeping the Cards right out of their own building. What a year!

CONGRATULATIONS RED SOX!!!

P.S. This is also my way of posting to say that the next chapter of my story will be delayed several more days while I bask in the afterglow. I posted Cape Cod Summer - Chapter 6 just a few minutes ago. My "helper" convinced me that it was better posted as a single chapter instead of being split up. The good news is that it's a lot to read if you've liked my stories so far. The bad news is that I don't currently have the next chapter started, so it's unlikely I'll post another chapter next week. Not impossible, just unlikely. :)

As always, I appreciate constructive criticism and feedback. I might split it into two chapters because I don't have Chapter 7 yet started and I'm not exactly sure where the story is going next. This is the first point in the series where I don't have a solid idea of next steps or a follow-on chapter already started, so if I can reasonably split this chapter, it'll give me some time to get another one started. I should have something up by week's end.

<issued>2004-10-15T21:15:46-04:00</issued> <modified>2004-10-16T04:19:46Z</modified> <created>2004-10-16T01:20:11Z</created>

New Site Design...

Howdy! Hope folks like the new site design. I decided that I wanted to try to incorporate a blogger into the site and this seemed to be the best way to accomplish that. If anyone *really* needs to see the site the old way, I'm going to keep it up -- no pun -- for a while until I know that this works out for most folks. You can connect to the old "main" page here. Unless I receive massive complaints on this new format, I won't be updating the old site. This new design allows me to only have to update the 'blog' and the summary page when I post a new chapter. The old way required editing almost every page and if I end up with a lot of chapters, that's too much work. Please feel free to contact me via the e-mail form or by responding to this post using the comments. Pretty neat, eh? :)

<issued>2004-10-13T20:11:18-04:00</issued> <modified>2004-10-16T00:24:18Z</modified> <created>2004-10-16T00:11:28Z</created>

Posted: Cape Cod Summer - Chapter 5

Posted Cape Cod Summer - Chapter 5. Hope you like it. Little raunchier than some of the previous chapters with a bit more "action". :) I've actually only got one more chapter partially written, so my pace may slow down a bit again for a while until I start coming up with some more ideas. Whatever happens, there won't likely be more than 9 or 10 chapters total. I do have a few other ideas for other stories (perhaps multi-chaptered ones), but this one has about run it's course. Thanks to all the folks who have submitted comments. If you've got ideas for where the story should go, feel free to pass them on.
