CHAPTER XVI 

Rules for Girls

     Sometimes, between bouts of love-making, a 
     Japanese girl and I become philosophical about 
     the nature of her sexuality. The result of these 
     discussions is this set of Rules for Girls. I 
     wrote it on the basis of what I had learned; many 
     girls have read it, improved it, and finally 
     approved it. So to end this collection, here it 
     is. 

I am a girl, a sensual, sexually aware being. That is 
a great privilege. But it lays on me the following 
responsibilities, all of which I willingly accept: 

1.   To recognise that my sexuality is the greatest of 
all the gifts conferred on me by the Gods and is 
fundamental to my feminine nature. 

2.   To understand that it is my duty to draw the 
maximum possible pleasure from my sexuality and to 
study constantly ways to enhance and develop it. 

3.   To understand that all sexual pleasure, however 
unusual it may seem, is good but that the best of all 
is sexual pleasure shared with partners. 

4.   To reach orgasm with a male or female partner at 
least twice every twenty-four hours, and to seek 
constantly to improve my ability to give and receive 
orgasm. 

5.   To make equal and full use of the three 
pleasure-holes conferred on me by the Gods: my cunt, 
my mouth and my anus; and to ensure that my partners 
do the same. 

6.   To be proud of my sexuality, to flaunt it and to 
seek constantly styles of dress and behaviour which 
enhance it and increase the pleasure it gives to 
others - and so to myself. 

7.   To understand that to be propositioned by a 
stranger is a compliment to my skill in applying Rule 
6; to respond willingly, to enjoy the experience that 
follows and to express sincere thanks for it.[30] 

8.   To learn and apply fully one of the greatest 
truths about my sexuality: that there is no difference 
between erotic pleasure and erotic pain - the greater 
the pain the greater the pleasure. 

9.   To remember always that to give sexual pleasure 
to others is to receive it back a hundred times over. 

10.  To study my partners' sexual preferences; to 
suggest new pleasures; and to comply enthusiastically 
with any sexual request made to me, however unusual or 
perverted. 


FOOTNOTE

[30] I had imagined that this Rule would be the 
hardest for my girls to accept. To my surprise - I 
_still_ have much to learn about Japan! - none of them 
found it at all controversial. Some said it was so 
obvious that it hardly needed to be included; others 
said some of their loveliest sexual experiences had 
come from discreetly provoking complete strangers. 
"Sometimes I thank him sweetly and agree at once; 
other times I pretend to be frightened so we can act 
out a rape scene together. It depends on my judgment 
of his secret fantasy," said one very experienced 
girl.
