Chapter 13

When Erik and Lynda walked into the café hand in hand, Heather grinned at them, and Tammy teased them by sticking her tongue out at them, before giggling. Olivia kissed Lynda on the lips and said, "Welcome to the family, Love."

"Olivia, your son, though I love him dearly, just spent almost a hundred thousand dollars on me. I hope he hasn't gotten you into trouble financially trying to impress me," Lynda said quietly, out of Erik's hearing.

"Mistress, Erik could have spent far more then that without even asking me, or needing my permission. When it comes to money, you will never need to worry about it ever again. Now, what can I make you for breakfast?" Olivia asked.

Lynda purred as she pulled Olivia closer to her. "How about you strip, and get on one of these plates? I'll just eat you for breakfast."

Olivia pulled her shirt over her head, and pushed her sweatpants down to step out of them before Lynda could stop her. "Whoa! I think the other guests might have something to say about my eating your tasty pussy for breakfast, so you should probably put your clothes back on before any of them notice!" Lynda said looking over her shoulder at the people in the dining room.

She saw her Dad with his jaw hanging open, looking right at Olivia. Tammy, who was walking by, simply reached over, and lifted it shut for him, before continuing on her way. Erik, who was standing off to one side with Heather, was chuckling at the pair. No one else seemed to notice, much to Lynda's relief.

Lynda got a plate of bacon and eggs from a grinning Julie who only winked at her. "Mistress should be careful what she says to her very obedient sex slaves in public."

Lynda leaned forward and gave the woman a quick kiss. "Mistress thinks she might have to give two horny slaves spankings for stirring up trouble in public."

"Yes Mistress, if it pleases you," Julie replied softly, grinning.

Erik joined her with his tray of food and they both joined her father at his table. As they sat down, Lynda winked at Bill. "Daddy, I'd like you to meet your future son-in-law, Erik Carr."

Bill Moore almost choked on his coffee, again, at his daughter's words. "Son-in-law? Are you sure, Angel? Is this the kinda of situation you want to raise Kaylee in?"

"I'm very sure Daddy. Granted, there is a lot of lust here, but the driving force is love. Think about it; you know how I feel about you and Mom. If it were only one of them I felt this for, I might have been able to convince myself that this was just a fling. But, Daddy, I actually love all of them, not just Erik or Tam ... uh, I mean, Olivia! Yes, this is a poly relationship, and it is not the type society accepts, but it is what feels right for me. We still need to see how Kaylee will react to them, It'll break my heart if she doesn't like them, but I don't think that'll be the case," Lynda said seriously.

Bill nodded, and held out his hand to Erik. "Welcome to the family, Son. Don't worry about what was said here, It's my job to play devil's advocate in this situation. Personally, I agree with her, and I've actually seen less of you than she has. More importantly, I've seen your other ladies working together, without you around to influence their reactions. I'd never be able to tell that Julie and Heather are slaves, unless I'd been told before hand, but since I know, and am looking for it, it's so obvious. I can also tell how insanely happy everyone is. It'd be disgusting if it wasn't what they actually felt. That being said, I had the biggest concerns about the young one; Little Tammy.

"Since she is still walking normally, can I assume that you two haven't had sex yet?" Bill asked.

"Last night was going to be our first time together, but before we could start, her period started, and we decided that it would just be safer to wait until it passed for our first time," Erik replied.

"Jesus, I bet she was pissed! She looks about nine, but acts thirty. I don't think its just an act either, I mean, she seems to be one of the smartest people I've ever met," Bill said.

"You're right, I was pissed, and thanks for the compliment, Sheriff!" Tammy said and kissed him on the cheek as she walked past to get another order.

"Daddy, I think she likes you!" Lynda said and lowered her voice. "Just don't let her get her mouth on you, God above! I thought she was going to kill me with pleasure last night!"

Bill just shook his head. "I don't care one way or the other, as long as you are all happy, no one is being forced, and I don't hear any official reports. I am concerned about a fifteen year old supporting five women though. Six if you count my granddaughter, and I do, plus eventually there are going to be other children. Do you have a plan for that son?"

"Actually sir, I just finished reassuring your daughter about that very issue. I'm confident that I've relieved all of her concerns on that score. You'll eventually find out as well, sir, but for now, I'd prefer not to discuss it in so public a place," Erik said.

"Its nothing Illegal is it?" Bill asked, raising one eyebrow. "No, there is nothing illegal at all, though the FTC might disagree with you, they have yet to find evidence of wrong doing by any of our ... uh, people," Erik said, glancing around to see if anyone seemed interested in the conversation.

"'Nuff said, I can wait a proper explanation then." He glanced at his daughter, "Sweetheart, I know you love this job, but you know how under the microscope we are. If anyone finds out that you are in a relationship with another woman, I'll be asked to 'fire the dyke', daughter or not. God help us if they find out you're really poly before Erik hits eighteen."

"I might be able to muddy the waters a bit if that ever happens. Because of our business situation, I'll be officially emancipated in three more days. I'll make sure you get a copy of the paperwork in your capacity as Sheriff. That should help to cover our asses if anyone just happens to decide to throw stones in the dark to see what hits. Most people don't like rich folk, regardless of how those folks got rich. If it ever comes out just how rich we are, there will be people throwing mountains," Erik explained quietly.

"You're that rich?" Bill asked.

Erik was about to answer when the conversation was interrupted by Bill's radio. "Sheriff, this is dispatch. Come in, Bill."

Bill grabbed the hand held unit and keyed the mic. "Go ahead, Connie."

"Bill, we just got a nine-one-one from the Pierson place out on Ransom Canyon Road. They say a slide took out Carl Nelson's house and has completely blocked the road. Greg said they'd managed to get Carl and his family out, but they're pretty banged up and need a doctor. Can you get up to them? Over."

"I don't think so, Connie. We got hit really bad up here. Can you get the highway patrol chopper up there?"

"Negative. They're all tied up trying to dig people out of their cars on the highway." She paused for a minute. "They have five dead so far, Bill."

"Son-of-a-bitch! We have no way to get up there to help those folks in Ransom Canyon. If the road's blocked, then there are upwards of forty, maybe fifty folks trapped up there," Bill said in frustration.

"Maybe we can help, let's head back over to the apartment." Erik stood and waved Heather over, "Lover, please get all the chairs cleared out of here, and get a few of the tables pushed together to form beds. There are forty or so people trapped up on Ransom Canyon road, and if everything works out, we'll need a place to put them while they wait for a helo ride. When you get done with that, ask Olivia to try to find out if anyone here has any medical training, and see if she can get some sort of volunteer group together. I'll need you to come over to the apartment once you've got the tables moved."

"Right away, Master. Please be careful." Heather kissed him quickly and turned to run back into the kitchen.

Erik led Bill and Lynda back over to the apartment and he grabbed his laptop and set it on the table. He also grabbed the telephone for Lynda. He poured all of them cups of coffee, before setting down at his computer. "Okay; Lynda, please call Mike back, and ask him to get at least six of his biggest sleds ready to go ASAP. Ask if he has anything like those toboggans the ski patrol uses. Tell him what we're trying to do, and tell him that he can charge all of it either to my card, or the account I gave him earlier. Make sure there are suits and helmets for each of the sleds." Lynda nodded and hit the redial button on the phone. Erik turned to a shocked looking Bill. "Bill, we are going to need some extreme cold weather gear for those folks we're gonna rescue. Snow suits, sleeping bags, anything that'll keep them warm for the trip back here. Is there a place I can land a Chinook Helicopter close to Dawson Motors, and is there someone that can guide him down?"

"The Walmart parking lot is just across the street, and a block west, it should have a clear enough space. I'll get a couple of deputies over there to land the chopper. I might be able to get a couple of EMT's from the fire department too," Bill said as his brain started working again. Erik nodded to him as he checked his messenger client to see if his grandfather was on. Howard Carr was a pilot, and had a lot of friends that flew different charters, and he knew others that might be able to help in this situation. Luck was with him and he sent a request for voice connection.

"Hey Erik, How's it going?" Howard answered.

"Good and bad gramps, we have an emergency, and need your friends. I need a Chinook rigged for cargo, and a flying trauma center as soon as I can get them." Erik replied.

"I can get the Chinook, but the trauma center is going to be tough. Would you settle for an air ambulance?" Howard asked. Erik could hear him already dialing the phone.

"If that's what we can get, it'll do. There are forty or fifty people trapped up on Ransom Canyon. I'm getting the sleds, and EMT's together, but I need to get them lifted from the local dealer to our location because the road is buried. We might need both choppers to carry wounded to the local hospital. I do have the Hillson County Sheriff sitting next to me, if someone needs to talk to him."

Erik could hear Howard talking on the phone and he could also hear him unfolding maps of the area. "Where do you need them, son?"

"I'll need the Chinook to land at Walmart in Compton Falls." Both Lynda and Bill had handed him notes about what they'd managed to get going. "They'll be picking up six Polaris sleds with four ESAR toboggans, four EMT's and a doctor with their gear, along with a pallet of emergency supplies, and a few mattresses. There will be a person on the ground to help land the craft. Once loaded, I'll need him to come here. We'll clear enough of the road out here to land both Helo's. Do they need the sleds to be strapped to a trailer?" Erik asked.

He heard his grandfather relaying the info to someone on the telephone, and got a quick reply.

"No, the Chinook should be able to take all that inside. ETA is an hour and a half, will that work?" Erik looked at Lynda and she nodded, Bill also nodded agreement.

"Yep, that'll give me time to get a landing area cleared too. We have about four or five feet of snow up here," Erik said.

"Well, just remember to stay out of the prop wash from the helo's; in this weather, it'll freeze any exposed skin almost instantly. Excellent, I got the trauma chopper too. Both of them are Chinooks, so make sure that landing area is big enough for both of them," Howard said. "Why don't we leave this connection up so we can talk if we need to?"

Erik nodded in agreement. "In that case, Howard Carr, I'd like you to meet deputy Lynda Moore, and her father, Sheriff Bill Moore. There is a tale here, but treat Lynda as if she were my fiancé," Erik grinned. "Because she is."

"That's excellent news, Erik! Hello Lynda and Bill, I'm Erik's grandfather, Howard."

Both of the Moores greeted the voice on the other end of the computer.

"Well, if you'll excuse me, gramps, I need to get out there and start clearing off the road for those helo's. I'll make sure that someone is always here listening for the computer." He glanced up as Heather walked in and knelt next to him. "In fact, I think I'll introduce you to one more person; Grandpa, I'd like you to meet my slave, Heather. Heather, meet my Grandfather Howard Carr. He's coordinating the helicopters for us."

"Did you say 'slave' Erik?" Howard asked.

"Yes he did, Mr. Carr! Your Grandson managed to convince the most beautiful young woman in the state to be his personal sex slave!" Lynda answered, chuckling.

Erik rolled his eyes as he got up and pulled Heather into his chair. "Sweetheart, would you keep this dirty-minded, old reprobate company, while we go try to clear a landing area?"

"It would be my pleasure, Master." Heather said grinning. "I like talking to dirty-minded, old reprobates."

Howard had started to sputter at the insult Erik had given him, until he heard the girl's last comment. "Oh really? Then my dear, perhaps you should consider trading in that young, inexperienced boy for a much more mature gentleman such as myself."

Heather was grinning from ear to ear as Erik, Lynda and Bill put on their coats again.

"Sweetheart, would you go let Olivia and the rest know what's going on while Bill and I start with the snow? If you really get bored, I do have another shovel for you!" Erik said, grinning.

Lynda kissed him, then flipped him off as she headed for the café. Both Erik and Bill chuckled as Erik opened the storage closet again. He topped off the fuel in the snow blower, and showed Bill how to use it before he grabbed both shovels and headed for the café to start shoveling from there.

Lynda did come back out to help him shovel, and after a few minutes, a couple of men came out and took over from them. Twenty minutes later another pair took a turn shoveling, and Erik checked on Bill.

Bill had gotten one huge area of roadway cleared, but told Erik it was damn near impossible to stand up on because of ice. Erik ran back to the storage closet, and pulled a wheel barrow out from the back. He put the open sack of rock salt as well as an unopened one in it, and followed Bill's path out to the landing areas.

Erik had just started putting the salt down when Bill hollered over to him, that the choppers had landed in town. Bill quickly finished the second landing area, and started on the path to the diner, meeting the shovelers a short distance away.

Erik quickly spread the salt on the roadway, and Bill brought two ammo cans over from the police trucks. Erik was spreading the salt down the wide path to the diner when he heard the distant thumping of Helicopter rotors. He turned to look back at Bill and saw he had donned a thick pair of gloves, goggles, and a face mask. He had also popped flares at the corners of each of the landing areas.

He was now standing with a pair of flashlights with strange covers on them, crossed over his head. He would wave them about every ten seconds. Erik quickly finished spreading the salt, and parked the wheelbarrow out of the way before getting inside the café to watch the birds land safely.

Once they were down, ordered chaos exploded as people burst forth from the helicopters and the diner. Gurnies loaded with supplies were pushed into the café. There were people carrying mattresses, and cases of food, bags of clothing, and rolled-up sleeping bags. Erik arrived just in time to drive one of the new sleds off the helicopter and over by the entrance to the café. Very shortly all six were parked side by side, and a quick meeting of rescuers came together in the café. Bill would lead on one of the sleds not pulling a toboggan, with two of the ESAR sleds immediately behind him. Erik would be on the other solo sled breaking trail for the other two ESAR teams. Lynda was a little irked to be left behind, but Bill told her he needed a representative here at the EVAC station.

Erik was a little surprised to see Heather suiting up as well. "Honey? What are you doing?"

"Going with you, Master. My place is behind you," the girl replied.

"Sweetheart, you can't ride with me on the sled, I have to remain light enough to break trail for the other two sleds. With two people on my sled, we'll get stuck too much. You have to stay here, baby," Erik reasoned as he caressed her silky dark hair.

She looked terrified for a minute, but got her expression under control quickly. "Master, I need to go with you; this is dangerous."

Erik led her away from the rest of the people getting ready to go, and gently put his hand on her belly. "If you insist on going, then I will be forced to stay as well. I will not put our child in danger. Right now, you are carrying her. I'm needed to save those people, but I need you to stay here to protect our daughter," Erik said softly.

She looked up into his eyes with joy. "Do you really think I got pregnant last night, Master?"

"My most beautiful slave, if you aren't, then you will be tonight after we make love again. Heather, nothing is going to happen to me out there. I know this for the simple reason that all of you love me far too much for anything to happen. No one gets this lucky then gets killed off by the weather!" Erik said.

Heather chuckled. "Pure bullshit! It happens all the time! Just be extra safe out there Master, don't take any risks, okay?"

"I promise, my beautiful little slut. Not much can really happen you know, I'll have four of the best EMT's in the state only a moment behind me," Erik said and kissed her on the forehead.

Erik finished pulling on the suits and blaze orange vest that Bill had given him. He carefully pulled his helmet on, so he wouldn't mess up the electronics mounted inside. His women all huddled together to watch him get on his sled. All of them were gathered around Lynda, but she looked just as lost as the rest of them. Since they were all huddled together, he blew a kiss, knowing they would all be accepting it.

"Are you ready Erik?" Bill said over the radio link.

Erik fired up the sled, and gave Bill a thumbs-up after checking with his two teams. All the sleds had GPS units mounted on them, and they had been programmed for the houses they needed to visit. Erik checked his radio with their base, and took off as soon as he got a reply.

There really wasn't that much to this; Bill and he pretty much rode side by side all the way to Ransom Canyon road. However, it got fun about a mile down the road. Bill told the ESAR teams to wait while Erik and he tried to find a way around a section of road that was buried under an avalanche.

Bill pointed Erik to the right, which was downhill while Bill doubled back a ways to see if he could find a route on the up hill side.

It turned out that the little valley was pretty shallow at this point, and the snow slide had leveled out only about twenty yards farther downhill. Erik had no trouble cutting a path across the slide and back to the road two hundred yards farther down. He called Bill and the teams to follow his track, and they shortly continued on their way.

Finally they came to a place that looked like the slide had stopped on the road. A steep wall of snow, ice and the remains of trees and rocks blocked their path. Bill got off his sled, moved over to the edge of the road and brushed the snow and ice chunks off of a mail box.

"This was Carl's place. We need to get around this, and on to the next house. They said they had wounded that needed medical help."

Erik eyed the snow wall in front of them, before telling his teams to stay put for a moment. He turned his sled so he was coming at the wall at a sharp angle, stood on the left running board of the sled so the majority of his weight hung off the left side, and rode the sled up the face of the slide. Once he got on top, he got turned around then rode it back down the same path, only with his weight on the right side. Once down, Bill rode up next, pressing the track deeper into the face of the wall. Once he came back down, Erik rode up again, and felt that one of the teams should be able to make it up on the far heavier machines.

The passage of the bigger machines packed the track into a nice ramp that the toboggans wouldn't slip off of. The far side of the slide was a gradual taper where all they had to watch for were rocks and trees sticking up through the snow. They found snowshoe tracks, and the marks made by children's sleds leading down the road. Bill and Erik followed them right to where the home of Greg Pierson should have been.

Another snow slide had apparently buried the house, however, there was a tunnel dug and foot prints leading away from it. Bill reported in to the base that we had arrived at the first check point, and were looking for survivors. The ESAR teams were already off the sleds and sliding through the tunnel on their bellies.

The plan called for the ESAR teams to let Bill and Erik know that they had found survivors, and would get them out, while Bill and Erik would continue on to the next house on the road to see how bad off those people were.

The teams reported in that they had four adults and three children they would be getting out, it was decided that both Erik and Bill would also carry a passenger back to the base. All three members of Carl Nelson's family had sustained an injury of some kind. Greg Pierson's wife had a concussion, and their oldest girl got a broken arm when a tree shifted while she was trying to help dig the Nelson's out.

On the second trip, the rescuers got a cruel reality check. A large rock, roughly the size of the Motel, had been pushed by countless years of erosion, and snow slides, until it finally came down the mountain slope it had been balanced on.

A perfectly untouched mailbox marked the end of the drive, and welcomed visitors to 'Byers Balanced Rock Chalet'. A huge granite headstone now marked the final resting place of Mark and Angie Byers, and their three children, Brian, age thirteen, Karen, age ten, and Krysten, age three.

A quarter of a mile further down the road, and across a small bridge over a creek, Angie Byers' retired parents reported hearing a loud booming noise in the early hours of the morning, and were all but thrown out of bed as the ground shook. They didn't think anything of it since that sort of thing happened all the time where they'd lived in California, and had gone back to sleep.

It had been a tiring day. By the time the last of the survivors had been brought to the motel, forty-six people had been evacuated from the canyon. The flight crews offered rides into town to any of the people at the motel that might need to be closer to town. One of the older couples accepted because the old woman wasn't feeling right, and would be much happier in town.

The other old couple bade them goodbye and promised to call once they got back to Mesa. (Both couples discovered that they had lived three houses apart for the last twenty years, and had never met. Now they were good friends)

The rest of the motel guests ate a wonderful meal cooked by Julie and Olivia. Tammy and Lynda played waitress this time, while Heather took care of her very tired Master.

Olivia made sure the flight crews ate a good meal before they were allowed to leave, and the group of national guardsmen gratefully accepted. After he ate, Bill kissed his daughter, and shook hands with his new future son-in-law, he managed to give the rest of his future in-laws kisses as well, before climbing aboard the medical Chinook for the short flight back to town. It was obvious that he couldn't be more proud of his daughter's choice of life-mates. No matter what anyone said about them, or their chosen lifestyle, they were good people; that's all that really mattered in his book.

Though Erik had enjoyed riding them, he decided to donate all six snowmobiles to the Sheriff's office, along with trailers and a full coverage maintenance contract for three years.

The storm passed, and the sun came out again. The state department of transportation proved their intention to give the road a higher priority by having it cleared in two days. They opened the pass on Christmas eve, and one of the first things Erik did was take his girls shopping. After all, he needed to buy a whole bunch of new presents.

True to his word, he bought each of his women a diamond engagement ring, and as a group they spoke vows to each other. A very happy Kaylee, who was actually bigger than Tammy, played ring bearer to the group. Instead of having a problem with a mother only two years older than her, Kaylee was completely happy with the situation. Her only gripe was that she couldn't brag to her friends about how cool her parents were.

It was fitting then, that on Christmas morning, Kaylee happened to be the one to find the thin elegantly wrapped present under their tree.

"Hey, here's an odd one! It simply says 'To the new Carr Family, From S. Clause," Kaylee said, holding up the thin, flimsy parcel.

"So go ahead and open it, Honey. You're a Carr Family member," Olivia said.

Grinning, Kaylee sat on Olivia's lap and kissed her on the lips. "Thank you!" Then she tore into the wrapping with such vigor that Erik was afraid for what he'd put inside. A brochure for the resort hotel of Atlantis fell into the girl's lap. Curious, she picked it up, and opened it since it was too thick to simply be a brochure. Seven first class airplane tickets slid into her lap.

"Well? What is it pip-squeak?" Lynda asked, and even Heather looked on with curiosity; Erik hadn't told anyone what he'd planned. Kaylee read the destination on the tickets and her eyes got really big as she looked at Erik. He grinned at the girl, and stood, grabbing the papers from her lap.

"I think our little princess is speechless, and I can understand why. It seems that Santa thought that a certain new family really needed to have a very special honeymoon. So he got all seven members of the family first class, round trip tickets to the Bahamas to visit a new hotel property that they recently purchased." He held up the brochure so they all could see it.

"Uh, Master? That's a brochure for Atlantis; isn't it like one of the premier resort hotels down there?" Julie asked with a confused look on her face.

"Yes, my loving slave, it is," Erik replied.

"But I thought you said we'd be visiting a property that we recently purchased?" Julie asked, still confused.

"Still on the mark, beautiful, keep going," Erik grinned at her.

"But Master, isn't Atlantis worth like a tens of millions or something?"

"Closer to a hundred million actually," Erik replied sensibly, winking at the stunned look on Heather's face. "But, since we already owned a sizable chunk of it, I didn't need to come up with all of it at once," Erik said matter-of-factly and with as straight a face as he could.

Erik walked over and handed Julie one of the tickets, and kissed her on the lips. "Each of us owns one sixth of the premier resort hotel in the Bahamas."

Julie looked totally stunned. "Master, I know you told us that you were rich, but I don't think I really understood, until just now, exactly how rich you are."

"Julie, my very pretty slave/wife, you don't seem to grasp that you are just as rich as I am, though you're not nearly as lucky since I have all of you," Erik said grinning.

"That's not true!" Kaylee said as she basically climbed him. "We are just as lucky, because we've got each other as well!" the girl exclaimed as she kissed her new Daddy passionately on the lips. When she broke the kiss, she backed away a little. "In five years, Daddy. You'll need another ring in five years."

"Kaylee Marie!" A shocked Lynda said to her daughter. "You should never tease a man like that!"

"It's not a tease if you intend to follow through. I'm not teasing, Mommy. I have a lot to learn in the next few years, but I have every intention of giving my virginity to Daddy," Kaylee proclaimed. "But I'll need help and advice from all of you."

Both Heather and Olivia missed their periods during the month-long stay in the Bahamas, and gave birth nine months later to two baby girls. Two months later, Julie gave birth to a boy in a bed beside Tammy who was giving birth to another daughter. A week later, Lynda gave birth to another baby girl while Erik held one hand, and Kaylee held the other.

Erik had the lawyers change Lynda and Kaylee's last names to match the rest of the family, but baby Crystal already had his last name.

The family met the architect and her wife about a week after the storm. Everything was covered in snow, but Heather and Erik took the two women for a ride on the new snowmobiles so they could get a better idea of how the little valley looked. Both women talked and talked to Olivia and Julie, and spent the better part of a week at the Motel. By the time they were ready to leave, they had a good idea of what the family wanted the new hotel to look like. Erik got a wild hair and took the couple out to a working dinner one night. Heather accompanied them and when they got back, Olivia and Julie were dying of curiosity about what Erik had changed.

Surprisingly, the secret held until the acceptance tour. Erik told the builder about the secret, and the builder told the contractors, and it became a great game to keep confounding the extremely curious women. He had to resort to ordering all three slaves not to peek, but that only held for the slaves, luckily, once Lynda and Tammy got a good look at what was being done, they agreed that it would be worth the wait, and kept the secret.

One week before the official grand opening of the Beacon Mountain Inn and Convention Center, the builder, the architect, and Erik's family took the official tour of the immense edifice. The grounds were stunning, Tall pine trees grew everywhere, and a PGA certified golf course, a water slide and a long alpine slide were the outdoor amenities. Inside the eleven hundred room hotel was what would quickly become the most popular restaurant in the state. A multi-level structure that resembled different levels of cliffs surrounding a five story water fall. It had three kitchens, a seventy-person wait staff, and a host of different floor shows from cliff diving to sword fights with pirates, and a hidden treasure for kids to find. 'The Temple of Montezuma' was booked solid from the day it opened. Julie and Olivia both were stunned speechless when the tour ended in the new restaurant where a special table awaited the group. All the ladies were entranced by the floor shows, most of which took place out on the floor, among the diners.

The whole building took a total of three years to complete, and the Carr family had many other adventures while their home was being built, but those are stories for another time.

The End
