Chapter 6
"Wow," Crystal said softly as she looked into Bills eyes. "Are you always that good?"
"Yes actually, he's pretty much done that to both of us every night since graduation," Susan said matter-of-factly.
Crystal and Asia both looked at Susan, Asia in a little shock, but Crystal was more thoughtful. "I guess that answers that question." She turned back to Bill, "I take it that Asia and I are to get those answers I asked about earlier?"
"Huh? What are you talking about, Chris?" Asia asked.
Crystal quickly explained about the questions she had asked Bill while Asia and Trina had been busy.
"Yep," Bill replied to Crystal's earlier question. "However, you might not want to be on my lap as you listen to the tale. When it's over, you might not want to have anything to do with any of us," Bill said.
"That's a cryptic answer if I've ever heard one," Asia said.
Everyone chuckled as Crystal slid off Bills lap. He looked at the two cats, sitting in the chair Asia had been in. In a teasing voice, he said, "If I let you two out to patrol, do you think you can keep from getting run over or catnapped?"
The cats stood and stretched, and the smaller one made a clearly snide 'meow' back at Bill, only to have the bigger one stare at her for a moment. The smaller cat stuck her nose in the air and jumped off the chair to strut over to the door. The larger cat looked like it shook its head in frustration and followed after. Crystal and Diane watched this exchange with interest. Finally, Crystal chuckled. "That's almost creepy. It's like they understood every word you said, and the little one took offence to it. I think the bigger one knew you were teasing and told her to calm down. I could have sworn he was sighing in frustration as they walked over to the door!"
Bill, still sitting on the couch, smiled at her while he concentrated on unlocking the door, turning the handle and pushing it open, all using telekinesis. The coach got deathly quiet as the door closed behind the cats. "Some things are not always what they seem, Chris. Some things are more."
"How the hell did you do that?" Asia asked as Bill once again used telekinesis to float a cigar and his lighter from the place he had put them in a drawer in the kitchen area.
He nodded to Susan after he got it lit. Smiling, she took a drink from her soda and was beginning an explanation when Trina used her 'kinesis to bring in an ashtray and small air purifier, which she promptly plugged into the outlet on the wall next to Bill.
Everyone was so engrossed watching the two that they missed Susan's opening remarks. However, she shortly had everyone's attention as she related the whole story.
When she finished, the two girls sat in stunned silence. Finally, Crystal looked at Bill and Trina in awe. "You need us to guard them? Why? I don't think we'd stand a chance in hell of protecting them against a race of aliens."
Diane explained, "You forget that you're both half alien as well. You have improved reflexes, and the best fighting ability I could give you. There was a reason we didn't let you compete in any of the martial arts meets you wanted to attend. You would have wiped the floor with everyone. Hardly would have been fair, not to mention the amount of notoriety it would have drawn.
"That's also why we wouldn't let you girls have any friends or boyfriends. There would have been too many questions about your abilities, not to mention the life we had to force you into. Technically it was child abuse to treat you like that, but I did try to show you love as much as I could. I can only hope that now you can both understand the reasons behind what we've done to you, and find it in your hearts to forgive us."
Once again the girls were quiet for a time. However, it was Asia that spoke first this time. "I... I think I need time to think about this. I'd also like to talk to Crystal privately for awhile, if I may."
"Of course, sweetheart. You two can go into the back bedroom and talk all you want." Susan said.
Suddenly, Crystal rose and ran to the bathroom, where she could be heard loudly throwing up. Diane, with tears in her eyes, rose, wet a washcloth, and took it back to the bathroom for her daughter.
Bill looked over at the sad expression on Asia's face. "I'm sorry, Asia. I guess this was just too much, too fast, huh?"
She smiled slightly back at him. "Not really. Don't get me wrong, it's pretty fantastic, but it does explain a lot of things I've seen growing up. I'm sure we'll both stay, and help as much as we can, but I do have one important question."
"I think you can pretty much ask us anything you want at this point, sweetheart," Susan said.
Asia took a deep breath and steeled herself. "Which one of us is going to kill my parents?"
"Honey? I'm so sorry for doing this to you," Diane began explaining to her daughter.
"Stop!" Croaked Crystal. "I'm not upset about that. In fact, I'm fine with it. But what scares me is this: is Bill controlling me? Did he make me want to have sex with him? Momma, before I met him, I never really looked at another boy, and now all of a sudden I have these feelings that I've only felt for Asia, only stronger, and now I don't know if it's real or if it's something he made me feel."
"I don't believe he did that to you, Crystal. Yes, he is good at manipulating minds, but I asked him if he forced you into that show before dinner, and he said no. Besides, I felt the same damn way watching the two of you making love like that. It was passionate, primal and soft and sensual all at the same time. It was one of the most beautiful things I've ever witnessed, and it effected me much the same way it did you."
"You don't understand, mom. I don't mean the sex part. Hell, I'd have let him fuck me even in his old body. No, mom, I really want to know if this emotion is real, or is he making me fall in love with him?"
Her question stunned Diane into silence for a few minutes, then she felt she knew the answer to the question. "Sweetheart, think about it this way; if he could make you feel the way you do, and he was controlling you, how come you can still question if it's real or not?"
Crystal stared at her mother while she searched for an answer to that question. Finally, she smiled. "How did you get so damn smart?"
Diane pulled out her best Yoda voice and answered, "When twelve hundred years old you reach, be as smart you will not, Hmmm?"
Crystal laughed along with her mother until the joke actually registered in her mind. "Are you really that old? How old will I live to?"
Diane smiled at her beautiful daughter. "I was born in the late eighth century, so yes, I am really twelve hundred years old. As for how long you will live, baring unforeseen events, you will probably live to see your second century, though I doubt your new lover will let you go that easily."
A soft knocking on the door interrupted them. Susan's voice followed the knock, "Excuse me for intruding, but Asia's decided she doesn't really need to think about it, but she would still like to speak to Crystal, if it's okay."
"I'll be out in a minute, Mrs. Simpson. I just need to get cleaned up a little," Crystal answered, then turned to her mom. "Go on back out, I'll be right there. I just hope his wives don't mind sharing him."
"Sweetheart, I think you'll find that they will be willing to share more than just him with you, if you let them. Love is an infinite energy, Crystal. It cannot be defined or contained in a single heart," Diane said.
"I have one last question; why haven't we ever gotten together? I know it can't be because of the incest thing; you know it's never really bothered me, because Asia feels like my sister."
"Honestly, I'm not sure. I think I was worried that your father would want to join us, and that just... I don't know, I couldn't do that to you," Diane explained.
"You and Bill were discussing Daddy this morning! You had him read daddy! Why?" Crystal asked.
"Something about your father was bugging me, so I asked Bill to check it out. He's been giving me a creepy feeling for the last few years; I'd catch him staring at you and Asia like you were the main course at a buffet. Normally, I'd agree with him, but I kept getting that feeling of wrongness when it would happen. Then I caught him eavesdropping on some of my conversations with Susan and others, so I asked Bill to scan him to find out if he was working for our enemies," Diane explained. "I also asked him to follow a certain course of action if he found what I was afraid of."
"Mom, daddy was creepy, he followed Asia and me around all the time. Especially when we were swimming, he was always there... watching us. I once caught him trying to spy on us in my room one night. I threatened to beat the hell out of him if I ever caught him again. I was waiting to catch him a second time to tell you about it. I was hoping you would be willing to divorce him."
Diane took a deep breath. "That won't be an issue anymore, dear. Bill did find proof that he was a spy for the emperor. So he did what I asked him to do."
"What did you ask him to do? He couldn't have done much, since he was here with us all along. Besides, it's not like you can send him to jail or anything, which means that there is really only one way..." She got very quiet. "Oh. I hope you don't think I'm cold hearted, but... I just don't feel... anything." She looked her mother in the eyes. "You just admitted to me that you asked another person to murder my father, and it doesn't even bother me. Not only that, but I think I'm in love with the man that killed him." She turned to look in the mirror. "This is the reason I think Bill's been changing me; I know I should be feeling grief or... something, other than the relief that I'm feeling."
"Let's go ask him about it," Diane suggested. "I honestly don't think Bill could lie to save his life."
Crystal giggled, "No kidding! I was talking to him earlier, and his emotions were clearly written all over his face. I teased him about playing poker."
Crystal finished up by brushing her teeth and washing her face. She felt much better after talking to her mother.
"Crystal, do you need to go and talk? I've already made up my mind, though; I'm going to stay. What choice do we have really? Besides, the company sure is nice," Asia said quietly to Crystal after she got out of the bathroom.
"I'm staying too, my love. I had a problem, but Mom helped me figure it out. I'm a lot better now," Crystal replied.
"You figured out he's not controlling you, huh? However, I can see why you might think that. After all, we did get attracted to these folks awfully damn fast."
"Yeah, that's my point. I'm not feeling emotions like I think I normally would. Hell, I feel like I'm horny most of the time!" Crystal said. "If I didn't know better, I'd swear I was ovulating! Mom suggested we talk to Bill and the others about it."
Trina, Susan and Bill honestly had no idea what might be causing the strange behavior Crystal described, but Trina did point out the fact that the three of them had been spending more time than was reasonable with sex, which caused everyone to laugh, but she admitted that it was probably just the newness of the relationships.
Bill brought up Asia's earlier question about her parents now that they were all together again, and asked her to elaborate.
"Well, I'm pretty sure they're both... something just isn't right there. I suppose you could call it instinct or a gut feeling, but every time I have to go spend time at home, it just gives me the willies to be around them," Asia admitted.
"Well, love, I can hardly kill them because they give you the willies; however, I did find reference to your father in an enemy agent's mind, so he was already suspect as far as I'm concerned. I'll read him — just to be absolutely certain — as soon I'm close enough. By the way, what were we supposed to learn from him?" Bill asked.
Diane didn't even smirk when she said, "Mental defense and covert operations. If he is an enemy, he'll be a formidable one. He was a member of the Federation Intelligence Services and is one of the few surviving members of the original colony on this planet, which also means he's one of the oldest members of our race still alive. He may even have some of the original tech from the main base; he most certainly has at least one non-terrestrial weapon."
"Would those weapons still function after four thousand years? It's just incredible to think that something of the original team's technology may have survived until today," Trina said.
"I wish I could say no, it wouldn't function after all these years, but our people made things to last. Even the smallest rail gun should still have a full power cell, and the material they were made out of was virtually indestructible, at least by earth standards," Diane said.
"You know, the thing that bugs me the most is that we are driving to a very remote location, where at least one enemy is waiting for us. It sounds like a perfect trap to me. There isn't any other person we can go see that can teach us this man's skills?" Bill asked.
"I think what bugs me more is why did he even wait until now to take us out, if that really is what he has planned. What are they really up too?" Trina countered.
"Diane, he still thinks his cover is safe. Could you call him and tell him we broke down, and won't get there until tomorrow, possibly the day after? We can check out the next town, find someplace defensible, and wait to see if he comes after us. I have a hunch that he'll be here before nightfall," Bill said. "In the meantime, lets call the cats back in, and get back on the road."
They cleaned up the mess from lunch, and set the RV to rights. Trina opened the door for the cats, and Asia noticed that she didn't have to call for them, but didn't say anything. Very shortly, Susan was pulling the RV out of the rest area and back onto the highway. The next town was the last big one before they headed for the camp up by Lake Vermillion.
Bill tried to call Carol to make some arrangements and was mildly surprised when she answered; he thought she would still be on the plane.
"Hello my handsome Master, what can I do for you?" Carol answered.
"Hi sweetness, I think we might have a problem, and we need to get a few things. If possible, I'd like you to make the arrangements for a couple of them, since they will be traceable," Bill replied.
"No problem, what do you need?" She asked.
Bill quickly filled her in on the situation, and told her what he thought they needed. She asked him to take bust pictures of everyone, and to have someone take one of him also. "Make sure the pictures are clothed Master, it would make things easier," she chuckled before saying she would call him back with the information he asked for.
"Crystal, dear, would you please put some clothes on? I'd like to take you with me when we get to Hibbing. Also, everyone else needs to put at least a shirt on because Carol wants pictures of each of us," Bill told everyone else.
Using the new cell phones, Bill and Trina got pictures of everyone sent to Carol in short order. Susan pulled into a parking lot of the local mall and parked the rig away from the congestion of cars. Very shortly, Bill's cell phone rang and Carol's name showed up as the caller.
She gave him the name and addresses to a car dealership, and a local hotel. She even recommended a restaurant and told him the family and their guests had reservations for seven that evening. She suggested he use his credit card at the mall near the car dealership to purchase a laptop and the yellow pages on disk. It might be a big help if they needed to find something else.
"How am I supposed to prove I can use the card?" Bill asked. "I don't have an ID that looks like me."
"My corporate cards require a call-in verification and computer check to be accepted. Your picture is already up on the security site as the cardholder of record, though your name is listed as Ben Wilson. I'll fed-ex you the whole persona tomorrow, but for now, you are Ben Wilson, age 23, and your father is one of my board members. You are on vacation with your girlfriend/fiancé and some other friends. The story I told the dealership was that your vehicle came loose as a result of the tow bar breaking and your other car was totaled. Our company is carrying the cost of the new vehicle until the insurance claims can be filed. As we speak, a tow bar and wiring harness is being installed on a brand new Dodge Durango. I hope you like dark blue, and don't mind cloth interior; otherwise it's loaded and will be ready in a couple of hours. I might also suggest you find a major gas station chain store, and buy one or two of their larger prepaid gas cards. It'll cut down on the time to process my credit card," Carol finished.
"Damn, you did all that in the few minutes since I called you?"
"No silly, I've only handled the car and the hotel. Everything else I had lined up while I was flying back. I've been on the phone or internet since we parted at the airport," Carol answered him.
"I didn't think you could use wireless electronics on commercial aircraft?" Bill asked.
"You can't, but then again, I didn't fly commercial." She giggled, "I have my own jet and other than a few brief moments during take off and landing, I can pretty much do anything I want, I just have to forward my cell phone to the air phone number. Trust me, it makes the world of difference if you have to be somewhere while working on a deal. Being out of contact for the duration of a commercial flight can cost billions. That jet has paid for itself many times."
"Well, we better get busy if we're going to be ready." He paused, "We all miss you, Carol. If this goes the way I think it will, we'll be heading for your place in the next two or three days. Diane, Crystal and Asia will be joining us I think."
"I really miss you three too, Master. I didn't think it would be this hard to be away from you. After all, we've only known each other for one day." She sighed, "You'll be here soon, and you'll be safe. I got the pictures for those three ladies; they are all very pretty. Are you gathering your harem, Master?" She chuckled.
"Oh, you are going to get such a spanking for that one! Naughty little girl!" he teased. "We love you, and we'll see you soon."
"Okay Master. I love you all too. 'Bye!"
Bill paused a moment to consider her tease. In all actuality he wasn't having sex with all the women he was now with, but he briefly wondered if that wouldn't change in the near future. He sighed inwardly; six women? Seven if you counted Pasha. He figured he better since he did have sex with her, and she made it quite clear she wanted it again. How in the world was he going to be able to handle this? For the first seventeen years of his life the only sex he had was with his hand, and now he had too many women wanting to sleep with him.
Trina came over and slid herself onto his lap. "Husband, you're making problems where none exist. Yes, we all want to be with you, but we also want to be with each other just as much. You may be the only one with a cock, but I don't think that's as important to us as just being able to be with the other person or persons. Tonight, you will spend the night with Crystal and Diane. Susan, Asia and I will also spend the night together. Father and Pasha are welcome to join us if they want, but tonight should be just for Crystal and Diane. Crystal is falling for you hard, and it should be special for her. It's her choice to want her mother there. Asia wants to be with you as well, but she's still a little nervous about it and opted to wait." She chuckled, "There might be a night when you sleep alone, but I doubt it. Now, tell us what Carol told you."
He filled them all in on Carol's preparations for them, and Susan chuckled. When Bill looked at her, she simply pointed out the window past the BP station on the corner to the Dodge dealership Carol had named.
"Talk about one stop shopping! Okay, so when does Diane make the call to Carl Michaels?" She asked.
"Well, Carol said the Durango won't be ready for a couple of hours, so if you want, Chris and I," he gestured at Crystal, "can bail out here, go get the laptop and disk, then go ride herd on the dealer, while you all go check out the hotel and find a place to park the RV. Carol made reservations at a place called The Mill for dinner at seven. It's two o'clock now, so maybe she should wait until about four to call him. We should be set by then, and he'll need to check out the area before he can make a move on us. With any luck, we'll pick him up before he can act and counter whatever he's planning to do to us," Bill explained.
"I want to visit a sporting goods store. I think Crystal and I should get some weapons," Asia said quietly.
"I don't want to sound like an old hag here, but starting now, we are in a combat situation. Neither Bill nor Trina should go anywhere without one of the girls as a guard. I'm sure you two can take care of yourselves, but I haven't had a chance to even start training you, and you can't watch everywhere at once. You both need to get used to them being with you at all times," Diane said.
"I don't think I'll mind that," Trina said as she caressed Asia's arm, causing the girl to blush.
"Well, Crystal can pose as Bill's, er... I mean Ben's girlfriend. I think I should also guard Susan." Diane grinned at her lover; "Feel like becoming a lesbian?"
Susan, acting shocked, grabbed her heart. "Diane! I'm a married woman!" Which caused everyone to laugh.
Diane chuckled along with everyone else. "Well, I know a few lesbian couples that have boyfriends as well, so I think any slips we make could be explained away. In a small town like this I think if anyone actually does notice, they'll be too busy being offended to worry about it."
"Uh, Diane, Bill and I have a confession to make. We sort of... well, you could say that you have trained us already," Trina said, blushing.
"Huh? How could we have..." She paused and blanched, "You copied my knowledge?"
"... and all your experience, so we have the practical applications and reflexes needed as well. When we first met you we didn't know you, so we both scanned you to make sure we could trust you. While we were in there... well, it just seemed like it would be easier and quicker. I'm really sorry, we should have asked you first," Bill finished for his sister.
"You can do that, too?" She was awed; "Is there anything you two can't do?"
"Well, proximity seems to be an issue, and Bill seems to be stronger at the mind to mind stuff than I am, while Susan is better at healing but weaker in everything else. If I have a strong ability, we haven't found it yet. Carol said something about 'physical' being my strong area, but as I said, I haven't had time or opportunity to find out. Other than that, I feel like if I can imagine it, I can do it," Trina said.
Bill frowned; "I think when we get to Carol's, we're going to have to do a lot of testing to see what our limits really are, and see if we can improve the weak ones. We really should know what tools we have available to us in a fight. I'm not fully comfortable with having to kill every one of our enemies. Besides, there might come a time when killing is not going to fix the problem."
"Well, for now, if you know someone is working for Solms, I would strongly recommend terminating his ass, because you can bet that he has orders to do exactly that to you," Diane said.
"So, Asia and I will go scout out the sporting goods store, while Bill and Crystal go get a new computer. Diane and Susan will check in to the hotel and find an RV park. Who gets to act as bait at the hotel?" Trina asked.
"Diane and I," Bill said. "The rest of you will be close by, but not 'in the line of fire' so to speak. Supposedly, no other Atlantians can sense thoughts or read minds, but I don't want to take any chances. We can't afford to underestimate this asshole, so we'll have to assume he has the same powers we do. I think our best chance is take him out quickly, and quietly. If he has others with him... well, we'll have to deal with that when the time comes."
"Okay, we have things to do, let's get to 'em!" Susan said. Bill and Crystal climbed out of the RV to head into the mall — hand in hand — while Katrina and Asia hurriedly got dressed. With a sigh, Diane pulled out some clothes as well.
"Do you think we can do this, Bill?" Crystal asked. "I mean, I get the idea that these are really bad people."
"I think you're right; these are some very bad people. However, if we don't stop them, who will? I'm pretty sure some of us are going to get hurt. I'm really praying that none of us get killed, but it is a possibility. Hell, it's most likely a probability. Susan has taught us how to heal ourselves and we've since figured out how to heal others. We can even change others, so unless you are killed outright, one of us will always be able to heal you," Bill said.
Crystal saw Radio Shack, and pulled Bill toward it. Bill was surprised that they carried so many brands of laptops. After briefly checking them out, he decided on an HP and got a salesperson's attention.
Bill had never really paid that much attention when his mother used a credit card, so he couldn't really tell if this took a long time or not. It sure didn't seem like it to him since they were walking out of the store less than five minutes later. Right across the hall was a pet store, and Bill wondered if Father and Pasha would like anything. He briefly contacted Father, who was still with Susan and Diane. "Father?"
"Yes Gre... er, Bill?"
"I've found a pet shop here at the mall, and was wondering if Pasha or you might want anything?"
Father replied thoughtfully, "Well, if you could get these toys..." Several images came into Bills mind. "... and possibly some catnip, Pasha and I could keep our reflexes up and get some exercise while the coach is moving."
"Tell you what, why don't you just ride along in my mind, and point out what you'd like me to get," Bill suggested.
Father agreed and the couple entered the pet store. Bill teased Father about the big bag of fresh catnip he picked, and Father asked about the two dog beds Bill picked out.
"Why should the pooches get all the nice, comfortable stuff? These things have to be more comfortable than the floor. Besides, I can always sprinkle them with catnip for you," Bill teased.
"We will need to be careful with that stuff around Pasha. Catnip tends to make her horny, and we haven't decided if your new friends are to know about us yet."
Bill gave a mental snort, "She can't be any worse than the rest of us have been lately. I've been living every male teenager's fantasies!"
"I don't understand," Father said.
"Haven't you noticed the fact that there has been an awful lot of sex going on lately? I've started wondering if our priorities have shifted. It seems every second we're not doing something else, we're busy fucking each other into a stupor," Bill explained.
"Oh." Father sounded genuinely surprised, and then turned thoughtful. "Bill, while you are all gone, that is, away from Pasha and I, do you feel the urge to have sex?"
Bill paused for a moment to think about it. "Now that you mention it, no, I don't want to screw everything in sight. Crystal isn't crawling all over me either. Why? Do you think it has something to do with the two of you?"
"No, just one of us. I think Pasha might be coming into heat. Remember how I said we can influence the emotions of those around us? Well, in Pasha's case, she is young and has not yet mastered control over some things. She is transmitting her mating urge to all of you. I'm terribly sorry, Great Lord. I'll try to talk to her about it, but she might not be able to control it, nor really want to at this point."
Bill bit his lower lip in thought, "Would it help if she were... uh, given some attention?"
"Of course, but the only way to really stop it is to breed her, and neither one of us can do that. Nor do we know of a male her age available to us."
"Don't be so sure about that breeding comment. I've been thinking on something, but I want to talk it over with you and Susan in person before I suggest it." Bill said. "In the meantime, I think I should go find my wife and Asia. Keep the ladies safe until we get back."
"I'll try to talk to Pasha immediately. Your other wife and her girlfriend are pulling into an RV park about a half-mile from the hotel. However, I think as soon as they get parked, they will be in the bedroom again," Father said. "I'll tell Susan what we've figured out. You might want to keep an eye on Katrina. If Pasha is this bad, her bondmate might be getting more than the rest of you."
Bill briefly touched Trina's mind and sure enough, she was ready to attack somebody. "You called that right, Father. I better get over there and help her out. See ya in an hour or so."
The conversation had been so rapid that Bill didn't think Crystal could have noticed his lapse. "Trina and Asia are over at Gander Mountain, but we need to hurry, something's wrong with Trina."
"Like what? No one would attack her here, would they?" She asked.
"No, Pasha's in heat, so Trina's ready to rape everyone in there. We need to get over there, so I can try to tone it down in her before she does something," Bill explained.
"Pasha's the cat isn't she? How could her being in heat affect Trina?"
"Trina and Pasha are very close. We knew there was an emotional bond between them, but we didn't know it ran this deep." Bill quickened his pace as he felt Trina's resolve eroding. He mentally called her and tried to strengthen her will. "Trina, love, you've got to fight it. Pasha is coming into heat and she's broadcasting those emotions into you. You've got to fight them until we get back to the RV."
"Is that what's wrong with me? Gods! I'm so hot right now I could fuck a horse! Poor Asia is thinking I'm having some kind of fit. I can't fight this much longer, Bill. What are we going to do about Pasha?"
"Father is talking to her right now and there might be a solution, but you're going to have to hold on a while longer. Come on lover, you can do it." Bill called Father again, and added him to the link with Trina. "I've added Father to our link, Trina. Father, have you talked to Pasha yet?
"I'm doing so now, Bill. But as I said, she doesn't want to listen, she only wants to mate."
"I can testify to that!" Trina said. "Can we put her to sleep for a little while? It's getting worse."
"Father? Is there a reason I couldn't do that?" Bill asked.
"Please do, it's even starting to affect me, and I'm far past my breeding prime," Father said.
Bill concentrated and followed the link back to Father. There he quickly locked on to the bundle of whirling emotions that was Pasha and dimmed her mind into sleep. Almost immediately, he could feel Katrina's sigh of relief.
"There, she should sleep until one of us wakes her up. As soon as we get back, we all need to sit down and discuss birth control. Not just for Pasha either; Asia and Crystal are both very fertile, and I'm not ready to be a daddy yet," Bill said as he and Crystal entered Gander Mountain sporting goods. He led Crystal over to the archery area where Trina and Asia were looking at bows. "Hi guys! Are you feeling better, love?" Bill said the last to Katrina.
"Much better, thank you," she replied.
Asia didn't comment other than to draw Bill and Crystal's attention to the bow she had picked out for herself. After browsing around the store for a while, they had acquired a good deal of merchandise, including a blowgun that Bill took a liking to.
After deciding that there was simply too much to carry across the parking lot and street, Trina and Asia took a seat near the doors to wait for Bill and Crystal to come back with the Durango.
Surprisingly, it was ready when they got to the dealership. Bill drove back across the street, and picked up Trina and Asia and loaded their purchases into the back. Bill then pulled over to the gas station on the corner to fill the SUV with fuel, and to buy a couple of their gas cards.
"This looks like a nice campground. Look, they even have a pool!" Susan said as she turned the big vehicle into the wooded drive.
"That does sound nice, but I think you should try to get a spot as far in the back as you can, preferably right at the edge of the lot. It'll be easier to come and go unnoticed that way," Diane suggested.
"That sounds like a plan." Susan sighed, "Dee, are you horny? For some reason, I'm soaked and can't stop thinking about dragging you back to the bedroom again. I know it's been awhile since we were last together, but this is..."
"Yeah, I am. I keep getting images of riding your strap-on, while Bill fucks my ass. I've never felt like this before, and it's scaring me a little. I almost feel like I'd fuck anybody. Do you think it's the kids affecting us?" Diane asked.
"I don't know; I don't think so though, at least they're not doing it intentionally. Remind me sometime to tell you about the night before Bill and Katrina were awakened," Susan said as she climbed out of the driver's seat. Just before she opened the door on the side of the RV, she noticed that Father and Pasha appeared to be in intense conversation. Just as she was about to ask Father what was going on, Pasha seemed to slowly collapse into sleep. Susan moved quickly over to Father. "What happened?" In her haste she spoke aloud.
"Pasha is in heat. She has been transmitting her emotional urges to all of you. Bill put her to sleep because Lady Katrina was getting the brunt of it."
"Oh, is she going to be alright?" Susan asked.
"Yes, she will be fine, but Lord Bill says he has something he wants to talk to you and I about. He thinks he may have an idea to either prevent this from happening again, or correcting it when it does. However, since you spoke to me out loud, I think you might have some explaining to do with your friend; she is right behind you," Father said.
"Damn, I'm sorry Father. I was so worried about Pasha, I forgot to be careful. Can I tell her about you?"
"I think perhaps it would be more believable if I were the one to tell her. However, I think we should wait for the others; Asia and Crystal will require an explanation as well," Father said.
She nodded and turned around to face Diane, who was about to ask a question. Susan put her fingers to her lover's lips. "As soon as the kids get back, you'll know everything, I promise. Until then, please just trust me."
Diane smiled at her love; "I know you told me they were intelligent, but you treat them like they're human! They certainly don't act like typical animals either, and considering the fact that I no longer want to rip your clothes off this instant, I assume that little Pasha was the cause?"
Susan was a bit shocked by her friend's observations, so it took her a second to form the answer. "Uh, yes she was. Father says she's coming into heat. She's asleep now, so we should be okay for awhile." Susan paused, "You're not mad that we held this back from you?"
Diane smiled, "Go get our lot rented; we can talk more when you get back."
Susan slowly shook her head in confusion, but exited the RV to head to the park office.
When Susan returned, she found Diane on the phone. She had a very somber face, bordering on tears. Susan was about to ask what was wrong, when Diane spoke, "I understand Detective Burns. No, I hadn't really noticed any unusual behavior lately, but that isn't really saying much; our marriage has been over for years. I mean, we still lived together and all, but we lived separate lives. In fact the last time I saw him, which was earlier this morning, he seemed fine. But it was also the first time we had spoken in almost a week." She paused to listen.
"Oh no sir, it wasn't anything like that. We were still friends for the most part; it's just that, like I said, he had his own life. Our daughter, who recently graduated from high school, is deciding what college to attend. Once she moved out, we were going to file for divorce. I'm the majority shareholder in the company, but he ran it — that's actually how we met. He did a damn good job at it too."
She paused to listen again, "No, he was in no danger of losing his job. I had assured him of that. Like I was saying, it was an equitable splitting; we simply didn't love each other anymore. I still liked him, even though we'd drifted apart, and I didn't really know him anymore. Our relationship was more like a business relationship; his private life was his business, not mine."
She paused yet again, "No sir, I do understand. Do you need me to come back there? Crystal was aware of the situation between her father and I. She's given me the impression that she was happy with it, but I don't know how she'll feel about this and I'd like to stay here to break it to her gently."
Diane listened to more questions, and provided answers. She told the policeman that she would make arrangements for the body as soon as they got off the phone and asked for the information to give the mortuary. She thanked the man for his call and hung up. "Well, they found Phil's body this morning. Apparently, one of the neighbors called in to report a shot being fired. They've already ruled it a suicide and those questions were just a formality."
"How soon do you have to go back?" Susan asked.
"Not for a couple of days, I think. Most of the arrangements can be made over the phone. I honestly wish I didn't have to go back there, but that's where our home is. I think I'll want to sell it now though. The police said it was still a crime scene but they should be releasing it later today. I'll need to talk it over with Crystal when she gets back, but I want to call a realtor and a moving company as soon as possible," Diane said and sighed, "Enough about that asshole, we were talking about the cats."
"Father wants to wait until the girls are here too since they will need an explanation also," Susan said. "Until then, let's get this rig parked and set up. I rented the lot for a week."
Once the women got the rig set a
nd connected, Susan text messaged
the park information and lot number to Carol while she also relayed the
info to the kids. Over coffee, the ladies sat and talked about the
future.
