Chapter 15

Posted: April 10, 2009 - 08:58:25 am

I woke at six, realizing that my hand was still holding a foreign breast, and I could feel her hand along with Zena's on my thigh. Zena liked me to hold her and she liked to hold me. I wouldn't have thought Shannon would want that, but she obviously does, whether it's subconscious or not.

I gently kissed Zena's neck and slid from bed. It took me only a few minutes to shit, shower, and shave. Back in the bedroom, I kissed Zena, waking her so she could get ready for work.

As soon as the coffee was started, the other folks in the house began waking. Margaret was first as she needed to help in the kitchen for the bed and breakfast. About the time she finished giving me a warm full body hug, Shannon came in and stood in front of me with her head down. She didn't say anything, but reached out a hand and placed it on my side. I took the gesture meant that she wanted a hug, so I wrapped my hands around her and gave her a gentle full body hug. When I let her go, instead of her stepping back and away, she kept hold of me for several seconds, then raised her head to look at me. Instead of kissing her lips, I gave Shannon a soft kiss on the forehead. She smiled then hurried back to the bedroom again.

Joanie was her usual impish self and came in and straddled my lap. She was trying to stuff one of her tiny titties into my mouth. She was doing a good job of teasing me, getting me hard under her. She said, "Watching you and Zena last night had me so hot, I was smoking." Shannon sort of helped me out, but she was so distracted it wasn't all that much fun. I wish we had more time, because I'd love to walk bowlegged the rest of the day."

Betsy was pouring herself a cup of coffee and said, "You're just the horniest little girl there ever was. If you worked on one of those ranches out in Nevada, you'd end up the richest working girl ever."

"But I wouldn't get to play with who I wanted to play with," Joanie complained. "I like to play with you, Betsy, Maggie, Zena, and now even with Shannon. I love to sit on Tom's fat dick, but I love it more when he makes love to me. I guess I'm just going to have to find me a man, maybe a man and a woman. Hmm, I already have that. I know, I need more men."

My mom came in the front door and gave me a very nice hug and kiss. Shannon was coming into the living room when we were embracing and just stopped with her mouth open. Zena was following her and came up to mom and gave her a hug and kiss too. She said, "Hi Mom, come to see your kid off this morning?"

"Something like that, I wanted to remind him of the appointment with his attorney. I always like to say good morning to Tommy. That's the one thing I've missed since we had to kick him out of the nest. He was always good for a great hug first thing in the morning."

Mom noticed Shannon's trance and asked, "What's the matter, Shannon, haven't you ever seen a mother hug her son?"

Shannon said, "Not when they are both naked and the son almost has an erection."

Mom laughed and said, "The operating word here is "almost." Since he's young and a male he's usually hard as nails first thing in the morning. You just have to remember not to bend over in front of him, or any guy, under those circumstances. That's how I get Tom's dad wound up in the morning. I tease him real good and bend over to get something and usually get a very nice present for the effort."

Shannon covered her mouth with her hand, saying "Ohhh."

Mom had hold of Joanie by a nipple and said, "You have to learn how to get your guy, Shannon. If you tease them just right, they will do anything you want."

"And everything you don't want too," Shannon said, turning away.

Dad came in the door with his ever present shit eating grin on his face. "So, Son, did you remember you have an appointment with the attorney?"

"Yes Sir, and mom just reminded me as well."

Dad had walked over to give Zena a fatherly kiss, and was standing close to Shannon as we talked. As natural as ever, Dad just put his hand around Shannon pulling her hip to his. He said to mom, "We should have brought over some of those pancakes you made this morning. I'll bet even Shannon here would want some, right girl?"

Shannon's eyes and face were full of panic and fear.

Dad let her go and we could all see the panic in her eyes. Dad quickly said, "Shannon, I didn't mean to scare or upset you."

Shannon said, "I just have to get used to how friendly you all are. I even wanted a hug from Tommy this morning. When I went to kiss him and he kissed me on the forehead, some sensual kiss that was."

Zena said, "Well, now that he knows you want a sexy kiss, he'll be sure to give you one next time."

"Like I said," Shannon said with emotion, "I just have to get used to you guys."

Mom said to Shannon, "You didn't have any problem being nude with everyone, so why are you afraid or apprehensive about men?"

Uh oh, I didn't think that was an area that we should get into right then.

Shannon looked at mom then said, "Mrs. Parks, I'll tell you and everyone else that wants to listen. I grew up at my uncle's house because my dad was killed in a truck accident. My uncle had two older boys who were very mean, just like him. He terrorized my aunt and my mom, taking them both in front of all of us kids whenever he wanted to."

"When I was thirteen, he bent me over the table and took my virginity in front of his wife, my mother, and both of my cousins. No one said a word except the boys, who only said that they were next. They would have been, but my uncle said they couldn't fuck me until I was on the pill. He was safe as he had had a vasectomy."

"That day, my aunt and mom took me to the doctor and got me on the pill. They told me that I needed to help take care of the men in the family as it was our responsibility. I can tell you there was never any tenderness or love shown. The boys would fuck their mom, and if she didn't make them feel good, they would slap her. They did the same to my mom and to me. When I was fifteen, I finally figured out that what they were doing to us was wrong so I took off, ran away. I told my mom what I was going to do and all she said was, "Good luck." I've never seen gentleness like you all show to each other. Mr. Parks, I'm sorry I acted like you were being mean. I was just afraid of you."

Mom was now holding Shannon and asked, "How did you live, what did you do then?"

"Easy, I lived on the streets. There were plenty of men who would pay to fuck a young girl. Then one day a tough looking lady took me home and taught me all about women. I liked that a hell of lot better than men, so I've been women oriented ever since, and have always been suspicious of guys. So far, Tommy's been perfect. He's never touched me improperly or even made a motion like he was going to. I even held his hand over my breast last night. I think he remembers because he gave my tit a little squeeze. I slept touching him and Zena all night. It was the best I've slept in a long time."

Zena and I looked at each other, and she just smiled at me. She gave me a kiss and said, "You better get going, you have an early appointment."

Shannon asked me, "Can you give me some money so I can get some flyers made up at Staples?"

I gave her a hundred dollars, hoping that was enough. When I was getting kisses from all the girls and mom, Shannon came up to me and gave me a very nice kiss. She said softly, "I want to be your friend too, Tommy."

Zena and I left at the same time and while walking out to her car she said, "Wow, that was a revelation. Your mom and dad shocked her into talking. They're so loving, someone like Shannon just opened up to them. We may have a new friend after all. Hope you like freckle faced redheads, I sure do."

I took the Jeep this morning and enjoyed going downtown in the open car. When I went up to the attorney's office, I noticed several empty offices in the building and wondered why they were empty.

Aunt Pauline's attorney was a nice older guy that I had met several times while she was alive. He welcomed me into the office and said he had all of the paperwork ready in the conference room.

He had me sign dozens of papers and he had me fill out a bank signature card. While we were doing more paperwork, his elderly secretary went downstairs to the bank and filed the signature card with the head teller.

When we were done Mr. Misegades said, "You're my last client, Tom. I promised your aunt that I would make sure everything was as she wished it in her will. That you finally met someone and married was good because I have wanted to retire. Helen, my secretary for over thirty years feels the same. You know now that the building has raised their rent so high, most of the other tenants are moving out. By next month, I'll be gone as well. Here, Tommy, here's a list of attorneys for you to chose from. If you have any questions about any of them, call me. I'm going to retire but I'll still be consulting with several companies, including the one you work for. You know, Tom, you are a fairly well off young man now. Save your money and invest like your aunt did so you'll have an income for the rest of your life. I know you're level-headed and won't blow your inheritance. You've done very well so far. Good luck, Tom."

Mr. Misegades sent me off with a new leather briefcase jammed with documents. He said the first thing I needed to do was to get a safe deposit box and put all the papers in it. I had the names of attorneys and the name of the accountant that my aunt had been using for her bookkeeping. I would need to contact that person soon.

I went downstairs to the bank to ask them if I could just use the branch out by the park. They assured me I could, but wanted me to get a debit card and order checks before I left. They said the checks would be delivered to the branch.

While at the Jeep out in the parking garage, I called Bruce to see if anything important was shaking. He said I was clear this morning, but that Zena had said she may need me later. I told Bruce I was busy with some errands but would call again later.

First things first. I drove back out to the branch bank near the park and rented a safe deposit box and begged them to copy all the documents for me so I could leave the originals and take the copies with me to study. Next, I wanted to transfer my personal account to the same bank, but keep a separate account for the inheritance stuff. They understood. I also wanted to open an account for the bar and found out some other things I may have to do. but figured that Gerald may already be doing for me.

I was given some temporary checks for the business and I still had the checkbook that was my aunt's. I was on the signature card, so I could use those checks if necessary. Before I left, I thought that I should check the balances in the accounts so I could make arrangements to pay Bert back.

The teller pulled up the amounts and wrote them on a note pad and handed me the sheet of paper. I looked at the numbers then looked at the lady. "Are you sure about these numbers?"

The teller rechecked the three accounts and said, "These are the correct amounts."

I wandered over to some chairs by one of the desks and sat. I looked at the sheet of paper again. There were three accounts. The checking account had two hundred and seventy four thousand and some change. A money market checking account hand a million, seven hundred thousand and a savings account that had almost three million in it. Every thing together was over five million dollars. I kept thinking, that's million, as in six zeros. I folded up the note and put it in my pocket. I pulled my cell phone and called the accountant's number.

The man was very cordial and said he would enjoy meeting me and brief me on how my aunt used to operate. He told me to come to his office right away as he didn't have any appointments till this afternoon.

The accountant's office was nearby, so it was only five minutes later that I was being seated across from an older man with thick glasses, who had a stack of papers for me to go over. He explained how she had kept her finances and how he and the bookkeeper were responsible for collecting rents and, with the attorney, worked out leases for the commercial properties. He said the properties were right at eighty-five percent occupied and as long as I kept the rents low, I should remain pretty full.

"You are a little heavy in your checking account right now and should probably transfer some to your money market account. Since there are going to be a lot of properties come available during this distressed economy, I would suggest you stay fairly liquid so you can take advantage of any opportunities. Do you have any ventures you might wish to do?"

I laughed, "Over the weekend, before I knew I had the kind of money that is available, I made a deal to buy a tavern or lounge type of bar in the downtown business park. The owner wasn't doing well, but I don't think she was operating correctly. Anyway, I was able to purchase her license and inventory and now I need to negotiate a new lease. If the owner won't make a deal, I'll find somewhere else. Anyway, the deal is excellent and should be successful. I have an excellent experienced manager that is excited to have the opportunity to make the place successful."

Mr. Perkins, the accountant asked, "The bar isn't The Office is it?"

"Yes Sir, it is."

"How are you going to change the operation that will help make it successful?"

I thought for a second to organize my thoughts, then explained, "First, I'm going to change the hours to just the afternoon and evening, business working days only. Today, we will be open from two till eight. We might be able to cut that back to three till seven. I wanted the hours shorter so we would have only one shift. It will probably remain two till eight, and that is only six hours, so we will have an hour prep time and an hour clean up by the employees. That should take care of most of the employee problems and costs. Next, I solicited some advice from a knowledgeable restaurant and bar owner who assisted me in getting insurance and some more favorable terms on games, music, and is negotiating some better terms on liquor. We are going to open with a limited hot snack or appetizer menu that will bring in some additional revenue. Another idea I have, is to rent out the facility for evening and weekend parties. Since there is plenty of parking, it would be convenient for corporate parties. I will do some redecorating toward that end, and work on promoting the idea."

"Who did you get your advice from?"

"Sandra Mahoney."

Mr. Perkins got a huge smile on his face. "You're just like your aunt. You don't know anything about something, but jump right in. You're smart enough to seek out the best for advice and help. Sounds like you're going to have a decent place. The bar business is always a gamble, but you're getting an easier start than most. How much did you have to give for the license?"

"Eighty-five."

Mr. Perkins whistled, "You stole it. What else did you have to pay?"

"I bought the inventory at the former owner's cost."

"What else?"

"That's it. Rita wanted out and gave me the partials, all the equipment inventory, and a freezer full of food. I had an attorney make up all the contracts and do all the witnessing of everything."

"Who did you use."

"A friend of mine, Gerald Smithing."

"I know him. He works for the Forest Hunter firm. He's a good man."

"Did you have that kind of cash available?"

"No Sir, I borrowed it from my boss to I could cover the check I wrote by noon today. I did see that my checking account has enough to pay him back, so since this is an investment, using that capital should be all right."

Mr. Perkins said, "It's your money. You can use it any way you wish. You should probably set up some kind of salary for yourself from the proceeds of the estate."

"I think I'll wait. I don't need any personal money and I'm not quitting my job, so I think I'll just use the corporate money for corporate stuff."

"Do you wish to retain me as your accountant?"

"Why would I change? Are you going to change how you treat me compared to my aunt?"

Mr. Perkins smiled, "You do have to pay me quite a bit for my services. The bookkeeping service is not cheap, and your taxes are complex enough that they are not cheap. Keeping your properties in line with your attorney is a job in itself and again is not cheap."

"Can I get someone as good as you are for less money than you charge?"

He looked at me real funny then asked, "You're serious aren't you. You just asked me if any of my competition can do what I do cheaper. Excellent, I like you. You don't beat around the bush, but then you are your aunt's nephew."

"How about I keep everything status quo for right now? I have a lot to learn and unless something is broken, why try to fix it. Let me get settled with a good property attorney if Gerald can't handle it. Do you have any suggestions on attorneys?"

A couple, but you should see if you can get Gerald to work for you and then get him in contact with me. We should be able to take care of you. You work for the management company for the properties, so I think you're set. Make sure you use Bert as a source of information. He knows his stuff. There is a lady I'd like you to meet. She was a good friend of your aunt's for many years. Her name is Veronica Highsmith."

I laughed then said, "I've already met her, but neither of us put together that Pauline was my aunt and that they knew each other."

"Veronica is a little strange, but very smart. She can help you with some purchase decisions. Use her."

"Thank you for you time, Mr. Perkins. You've been very informative. I need to make sure my new venture into the bar business is on track, so if we're done, I need to get going."

"Thank you for retaining me, Tom. I look forward to doing business with you."

I sat in the Jeep a second to review everything. I think I had taken care of what was needed this morning. I called Bruce to hear everything was still quiet. I told him I would be in shortly.

Before going to the office, I parked in our private lot at the bar and went into the back door of The Office. It was still only just before noon, but the girls were all dressed in their new outfits, looking at some new games. There was some quiet Stevie Ray Vaughn playing over the speakers. The smell of fresh popcorn permeated the whole place.

Shannon saw me and jumped up to run to me. Her eyes were sparkling with excitement. She grabbed my hands, looked into my eyes and said, "We're ready, we passed out a thousand flyers, have plenty of popcorn and peanuts, plus we have what should be enough of the sample egg rolls cooked. We'll put them under a heat lamp to keep them warm for the five o'clock crowd. Isn't it exciting?"

I smiled at her and said, "You look really nice in your new outfit. You probably need to find four more outfits so you all look fresh every day. You are all so attractive that the customers will want to see what outfit you're wearing."

The two lezzy girls were smiling. One said, "Boy, you sure know how to make points with the girls. Tell us we look good then want to buy us more sexy outfits. I'm for that."

Joanie was strutting around in her heels and altered outfit. She looked good and knew it. She looked like a tiny sexy adult, exactly what she wanted to look like.

When Betsy came out of the kitchen, I almost had a heart attack. I exclaimed, "Holy shit. Betsy, you need a chastity belt, Babe. One look at you and I just want to bend you over. That outfit should be illegal on you."

Her outfit let her boobs push up and out, just barely covering the nipples and then the waist went to narrow and then it flared for her hips and cute bottom. She really did look good.

"Betsy came up to me and gave me a peck on the lips. She tasted like lipstick, so I knew why the soft kiss. "I could just bend over the pinball machine, would that work?"

A young black man came from the back and asked Shannon something. Before he left, Shannon told him to wait. She introduced me to him saying,

"Tom Parks, this is Jake Signer, our bar back. He is really a good worker and can cook, keep the kitchen and place clean, and can bounce if we need him."

"Nice to meet you, Jake. Sounds like you're a Jack of many trades. Thank you for staying on with us."

The man looked at me a second then said, "Mr. Parks, can I talk to you a minute?"

He motioned for me to follow him into the kitchen where he stopped and turned to me. "Mr. Parks, Rita knows my background but no one else in here does. I'm required to tell whoever is my employer my history, so here goes. When I was eighteen I robbed a gas station and convenience store. I got caught, which was probably good, but I was sent to prison for five years. Thank goodness it was before the new law that requires ten years. Anyway, I did my five years and have stayed perfectly clean since. I have about a year to go on my probation, so I have to report to them monthly. They will call you to check up on me. I like this job and I want to stay, but I'll understand if you don't want an ex-con working for you."

"Stay clean, Jake, and I don't have a problem with you. I do want you to discuss this with Shannon though. She is your boss and who the probation officer should talk to. Do a good job, they need you and we will make sure you're paid well for what you do."

"I'm paid fair right now, Sir, and I do want the job. The new hours will be good so I don't work so many hours."

"Well, since you were working so many hours, this cut in hours will hurt your wages. We'll adjust something so you make out."

"I wasn't working by the hour. I worked per shift plus tips. The girls all share their tips with me, that's how I make a good living."

"I see, Jake, there's a lot I have to learn about this business. Anyway, make sure you talk to Shannon, but tell her I want to keep you."

When we went back out to the bar, I said, "Anyone want a Subway?"

Everyone did, so I gave Jake forty bucks and asked him to get what everyone wanted and to keep the change. He wrote all of orders down and vanished.

Shannon said, "He's smart, he'll call the order in so he doesn't have to wait. He's the best bar back I've ever had. He works like he's afraid he'll lose his job any second."

I told Shannon about Jake's condition, his prison time, and his probation. I told her that it was her decision, but I thought Jake could be a good employee for us.

"You're all right, Tommy. I don't know whether you have a big heart or whether you are just a good judge of people. I agree with you and I will definitely keep Jake. I won't let him know you told me though. I'll let him tell me the story himself."

Jake came back with the sandwiches and we all had some soda from the bar while we ate. Joanie had a big stack of large bowls out on the bar. She said she was going to begin filling and putting them filled popcorn on all the tables. She said they were experimenting with how much salt to put on the popcorn so it would be salty, but not too much.

The vendor had brought in the large circus type popcorn maker with about a hundred fifty pounds of popcorn and several gallons of oil. He had given them a big bag of salt and a giant salt shaker as well. The girls showed me how you just filled up the hopper with the raw corn and a tank area with the oil through a funnel. The storage area had a beam that went across the holding area and the popper continued to automatically make popcorn until the beam was broken. Pretty neat.

I told everyone I would see them around five, but that I needed to go to work. I received kisses on the cheek by both lezzie girls and a couple of toe curlers from Betsy and Joanie complete with lipstick smudges. Shannon came up to me and gave me a hug, then leaned back from me with her hips against mine and said, "Thank you. Your mom and dad made me feel so good this morning. I spilled my guts and feel better about it. You and yours are not like my family was and I know that. Thank you for having me." She gave me a gentle kiss. but really gave my hips a good rub.

I walked to the office with a hardon, thinking that Shannon was going to be better, with a healthier attitude.

Zena wasn't in, but Bruce was just getting back from lunch. When I asked for Bert, Bruce pointed at his office and gave me the hand motion of shooing me toward his door.

When I went in, Bert was contemplating some papers on his desk. He stood and stuck out his hand saying, "You are an important client, Tom Parks."

"That's nice, but right now I'm your employee and I'm here to give you back a hundred grand, plus interest. You saved my bacon yesterday."

Bert was sitting again and smiled, "My pleasure. Did you make a good deal?"

"I think so, and Sandy Mahoney thinks so. The bar will open at two today and stay open till eight. We might be able to tighten up those hours, but we'll see. I have an idea though. You can tell me what you think. What do you think about my renting the place out for corporate parties? We have a kitchen and could serve any kind of meal. I could modify the interior a little so we could have a stage area for either speakers or live music. What do you think of weekend corporate parties or even late evening parties?"

"Sounds good. You might be able to book a few. With money being so tight, if you make folks a good deal they might book more than you think."

I wrote out the check for the hundred thousand and said, "I owe you a favor. The check is still in my aunt's name, but I'm the account holder now. Luckily, she had an excess of cash in her working account."

Bert said, "You're accountant, Perkins, is a good one. Stick with him, he'll treat you right and is smart. His bookkeeping group is very good as well. They will catch a lot of stuff for you. So, are you really going to continue working for me?"

"Of course, why wouldn't I? The estate is the estate. I'm going to treat it as an investment and watch it grow. If we need some cash, I'll know where to get it, but I still have to work for a living. I'm sure Zena wouldn't have to work if she didn't want to, but she does. I need to work and this is a good job."

"So how are you going to handle the bar? A bar is very demanding."

"I have a manager. The bar is an investment. If it's successful, I'll squirrel away some more money. If not, I'll figure out another way to do something."

"Good thinking. You will need to pay attention to it though. You should be able to do that, being so close. I'm glad you're staying. You've got engineering shaped up now and you've got Zena running on all cylinders. She's really begun turning some big deals. Just keep doing what you're doing for the company and it will be good for both of us. Now, about your properties."

"What do I need to know? I understand that I'm running about eight-five percent occupancy, which I think is probably pretty good for this economy. Unless there are some super deals, I think I can wait for desperate pricing to buy more."

Bert smiled and asked, "Do you know the biggest reason to wait?"

"I think it would be so the tax assessor reduces the valuation on the properties so we buy at a lower valuation."

"Very good, Grasshopper. There are other reasons too, but that's a big one. During a poor economy, business areas flex and change. What is considered great office space during a boom may not me so hot during a downturn or the next boom. I think we both need to wait and see. Hell, even Veronica has pulled back and is in a wait and see mode. By the way, whatever you and Zena did with her was good. She thinks you two are special."

"Veronica's a case, that's for sure. I have some prints I want to look over real quick, so I should get after them. Thanks again for the loan. I'll buy you a drink at The Office."

"I'll take you up on it."

Zena was in her office so I stopped in to say hi. She was smiling about something. When I went in she said, "Did you see Joanie and Betsy in those outfits. They are outrageous. Joanie looks so adult, and Betsy should be outlawed."

"I saw them a little while ago and I had lunch with them."

"That's right, Shannon said that. You've made an impression on that girl, you know."

"I think it was mom and dad that did that. She poured her soul out to them in front of all of us. That seemed to help her a lot."

"It sure did. Now Bert has me working a bunch of properties that he says are yours. Did your aunt really have that much commercial stuff?"

"All commercial. Dad said the residential stuff was all sold off."

"The properties are doing pretty well and all seem to be in decent shape. I'm having maintenance review the older places to make sure we're not missing anything. The new buildings are all very nice, I just looked at four of them."

"I have a print I need to work on, then I think we can both go over to The Office to watch how it goes. We both need to spread the word so folks will come."

Zena said, "I'll pass through the departments and tell them to be sure to stop by. Did they get the popcorn machine?"

"Yep, and it's popping as we speak. I'm surprised you didn't smell it when went by," I said, as I motioned like I was throwing popcorn up in the air and catching it in my mouth.

"I love popcorn, so I'm ready any time. Just say the word."

I did the print I was worried about, but it was done right. I even went down to engineering to tell them that they had done a good job on it. This was a big project for an important customer. I told everyone that there was free popcorn at The Office and that got their interest.

At four, I told Bruce I was leaving and suggested he stop for a beer at The Office. He said he would but couldn't stay. I told Andrea that she should call Veronica to get permission to come to The Office after work. She said she would call to ask.

Zena saw me coming and picked up her purse and turned off her office light to join me. We walked over to The Office and were surprised that there were so many people there. Shannon saw us and waved for us to come to the bar. She said for us to sit up there for a bit so she could talk to us.

"The flyers worked," Shannon said excitedly. "A lot of shift workers that get off at three came in, plus some of the construction guys that are working came in. This is a great early crowd. We need to do flyers often with some kind of specials."

I asked, "Do you think you want to start serving your snacks yet?"

"Soon, the people are scarfing popcorn like crazy and Jake is busy cooking appetizers. We're going to need a cook. No sense giving too many freebies out if we're selling appetizers."

Zena and I enjoyed an ice cold draft while watching the waitresses work the tables. They were having a good time and the crowd seemed festive. The new machines were being used and abused, but the dart games were abandoned. Sandy was smart, we'll dump those for more pinball or other types of games.

About five fifteen, the place was packed. This was like when I normally came in almost daily. The early folks began leaving, but the after five crowd grew. Shannon put out bowls of the appetizers and they seemed to stimulate sales of other types of hot snacks as well. I noticed the popcorn machine was really working hard keeping up with the demand.

Bruce and Bert came in and had a beer, chatted a little, and said hi to a bunch of people. The classic visitor was Andrea. She came in on a leash, held by Veronica with her long cigarette holder. Andrea was glowing, and Veronica had her superior look, complete with her shit eating grin. They each had some drinks, Veronica allowing Andrea to sit on a bar stool.

Around seven to seven fifteen, there appeared to be a mass exodus. By seven forty-five the girls were cleaning. When Shannon and Joanie made last call, the five guys that were still in the bar said, "We've had enough for tonight, but we'll be back tomorrow. Good night."

When the key was turned in the front door, the place became a beehive of activity. Joanie and Shannon worked on the bar while the four girls on the floor dusted, polished, swept then mopped. When Shannon was done with the bar, she walked through the lounge, checking the tables and booths, then went into the kitchen. Jake and Shannon came out and she announced, "Perfect. It's only eight-thirty and the place is ready for tomorrow. Jake, you did a great job in the kitchen. We'll get a cook for you so you can keep up with the other stuff. Okay, girls, lets divvy up and go home."

They all began checking out their tabs, double-checking their numbers, and piling money on the bar the whole time. Soon, Shannon said the registers were right, so they divided up the tips, and broke out Jake's share. I was surprised, as it looked like he was getting well over a hundred dollars.

While they were dividing tips, Shannon made up a deposit and the two cash drawer banks and said, "I'm ready, let's go home for supper."

I was impressed that Shannon had been so organized with the closing process. I shouldn't have been surprised, considering how she was prepared to open.

At home, Maggie had a pot roast warming in the oven. We all ate, saying that we would make sure Maggie got to see the operation so she would feel a part of that as well. She said she was fine, as there were some nice people at the bed and breakfast that she visited with.

Shannon, Betsy, and Joanie worked on the outfits for tomorrow, saying that they needed to tone it down on Betsy, but Betsy disagreed, she said, "Oh no, look at the tips I got tonight."

Zena asked, "So how did you girls do for the shift?"

Betsy was grinning and nudged Joanie, "Tell her, she won't believe you."

Joanie said, "We each had a two hundred eighty dollar day."

"Holy smokes," Zena exclaimed. "I'm going to start as a waitress."

Shannon said, "This is an aberration. The place was in a real happy mood. It was like it used to be when it first opened."

I commented, "It might be high, but don't you think it had to do with the mood you created with your outfits, the free popcorn, the free snacks, and most importantly, the flyer. Think about what you can have for specials, then print up the same amount or more flyers, and do it again. Keep the offer fresh, just like you said you wanted to do with the outfits."

Shannon smiled and said, "It's worth a try for money like this. The usual is about fifty to a hundred. But that was working from eleven in the morning till one or two the next morning. We could just about open at two forty-five and close at seven thirty. I still have to be there most mornings for deliveries, but that isn't a big deal. I can use the time for interviewing too. I think four on the floor and two at the bar is about right, do you girls agree?"

Joanie said, "It worked tonight. Shannon, you've got the bar set up nice. It's easy to get at the booze and glasses. The bar flows really nice."

"You're a good little bartender Joanie, you obviously have some experience," Shannon said.

"I worked at a disco for three years while I was in school," Joanie answered, I learned a lot."

All of us felt like there was time for a quick swim and perhaps a few minutes in the hot tub. We relaxed after the swim, enjoying the hot bubbles that surrounded us. I was surprised at how docile the girls were. I had thought they would be pretty wound up from the first day at a new job.

Back home in bed, Zena was very aggressive in her desire for attention. She and I played with a passion until we both came deliciously. Instead of going to sleep, Shannon had come to bed with us and wanted some attention too. Zena and Shannon soon loved up each other while I slipped into the bathroom for a second.

When I returned, Zena had Shannon spread out on her back, gently kissing her body. Zena motioned for me to join her in her lovemaking, so I began with Shannon's perky nipples that seemed to be begging for attention. Soon though, I moved down Shannon's body to bury my face in her muff. There I let my tongue dance in and around her juicy center, and also danced with her protruding clit.

When Shannon put her hands on my head to hold me in place to continue her orgasm, she sat upright quickly and said, "You're making love to me, I thought that was Zena but then she couldn't kiss me and my pussy at the same time could she. Thank you, Tommy, you are giving me a lot of pleasure."

When Zena and Shannon reversed roles, I continued to pleasure Shannon until she couldn't handle the intensity any longer. I just switched to Zena and felt her respond quickly. Zena and I both climaxed together again, then the three of us settled down to sleep with Shannon and me on each side of Zena.
