I enjoy inserting quotes from pop culture into my stories. It's a little conceit of mine, just a fun little diversion while I am writing. I thought it might interest some of the readers of this story if I identified some of those quotes. (Some are direct quotes, others just paraphrases.)

Since I had very few requests for these quotes, I didn't maintain the list after Chapter 20. It's only been recently that quite a few people have asked. I'll attempt to update Chapters 21-26 in due course. However, I do remember slipping in a quote in the next to the last paragraph of the last chapter:
