SUMMARY: Felicitas Ramirez is a cop who enjoys the thrill of selling her body. She explains her problem to her partner, Frank Williams. He has a hard time coping with the reality of her situation, but not because he doesn't care.

COMMENTARY: I like this story, but it is not a technical masterpiece. I can see what the author is trying to do with the story, but I do not think that she is entirely successful. One problem that I have with the story is that it flows much too quickly. The reader is not given enough time to absorb what is going on. Another problem that I have with the story is that there is a lack of subtlety. Things are explained much too explicitly.

I do like the characters. They seem realistic, but if the author could have done a better job with some of the elements that I spoke of in the last paragraph then maybe I would liked them and the story a little more.

OBJECTIVE ANALYSIS: 8.0 (out of 10)

  • Arousal: 4/5
  • Editing: 5/5
  • Plot and Characters: 3/5

SUBJECTIVE ANALYSIS: Very Good
