COMMENTARY: I have a thing for stories involving both
lesbian sex and BDSM (Bondage and Discipline,
SadoMasochism). I also have a thing for well written
stories. From an objective point of view, it usually
is not hard to determine whether a story involves both
lesbian sex and BDSM. The same can't be said about
determining whether a story is well written or not.
What one person may regard as good writing another
person may regard as drivel, and vice versa. I should
probably take the time to explain why I think this is
a well writen story, but that sounds boring to me.
Instead, I am simply going to make the assertion that
this is a well written story and then tell you what
strikes me about it.
This is a well written story. What strikes me the most
about it is the balance in the triangle formed by
BethAnne, Susan (her lover), and Danielle (Susan's
ex). They each stand out as different physically,
experience-wise, and in the roles they play. Having
BethAnne, the most innocent or least-experienced of
the three women, narrate the story is a good idea. She
hasn't been down this road before so it is all new to
her. This comes across very clearly in her
recollection of the events of that fateful night which
is filled with both excitement and trepidation. |
