COMMENTARY: Very enjoyable story about the relationship that Alan, an eighteen-year-old boy, and Carmen, a thirty-something-year-old widow, share. This story is very nicely paced. The author doesn't rush things. I really enjoyed watching the mutual attraction develop between these two before they finally decide to take things a step further.
