SUMMARY: He did not know that he would run into Jenna at the beach. He did not expect that she would need a ride home, but after she got into an argument with her boyfriend, he was more than willing to oblige her.

COMMENTARY: The summary doesn't tell as much as I could, but that is primarily because I don't want to give too much of the story away. Which is not to say that the story loses its appeal once you know how it turns out, because it does not. I re-read this story, and enjoyed it as much the second time as I did the first. It is just that I think that sometimes it is nice to enjoy something for the first time without being told too much in advance as to what to expect.

It is a rather short story, but you should have probably gotten the idea by now that I enjoyed it. In particular I liked the minor dilemma that the nameless narrator finds himself in. It stimulated my imagination, among other things. I also like the way that the author builds up this story.

I certainly recommend that you read this one. I think that it should appeal to the overwhelming majority of you.
