SUMMARY: Some people spend their lives following the trails that others have established. Others spend their lives blazing their own trails. Stephen Macintosh falls into the latter category. This does not mean that everything works out exactly as he originally wanted it to; his career path and love life don't bend to his teenage dreams. Still, Stephen has plenty to be thankful for by the time the story is through.

COMMENTARY: This is a great story; an excellent story. It is not, however, a very erotic story. It has its moments, but for the most part this is just a damn good story; not a damn good erotic story. Get the picture?

Anyhow, I can't think of anything bad to say about it. I like how the author lays the plot out. I like how the story line progresses. I like the characters. I do, however, think that I maybe somewhat biased towards this story since I found a number of parallels between Stephen's life and my own. My life has not been identical to his, but there are some similarities. Okay, so maybe I don't resemble him all that much, still, I felt a kinship.

Basically, if you are looking for something arousing, then you should pass on this story. On the other hand, if you are looking for an engaging story that will take you more than ten or twenty minutes to read, then I highly recommend that you read this one.

OBJECTIVE ANALYSIS: 7.0 (out of 10)

  • Arousal: 2/5
  • Editing: 5/5
