SUMMARY: David, a 34-year-old high school teacher, catches one of his students, 17-year-old Bonnie Kelly, cheating on a test. She does her best to get out of the hot water she has gotten herself into, by flirting with him. He does his best to ignore her forwardness, but is not very successful.

COMMENTARY: I have mixed feelings about this story. I enjoyed it quite a bit, but it has a rather abrupt ending. It seemed as though the author ran out of steam or interest while writing it. Still, it drew me along until the sudden ending. Both characters are interesting and seem plausible enough. They each have their own problems to overcome. I'm not too sure that I buy into their individual reasons for getting hot and heavy together, especially David's. If any part of the story seemed a bit shaky to me, that was it, other than the ending, of course.
