SUMMARY: After ten years of marriage, circumstances and a younger man (named Josh) conspire to make Maggie's life a little more interesting.

COMMENTARY: I seem to be drawn to stories about people ruining their lives. People who allow themselves to be drawn into a web of sex and mystery that gives them the release they have been looking for, but that also changes their lives irreparably. This story falls into that category.

What was it that drew Maggie in? The size of his cock? His charming nature? His threats? The quality of her life? It may not matter what made her do it. The end result is the same. You can't change the past.

What I do know is that this is a very entertaining read. Maggie is attracted to Josh but doesn't give in or respond to his advance at first, even though he turns her on. Her initial restraint makes her eventual capitulation that much more delicious. Her particular circumstances (age, marital status, financial position) also have something to do with why I found this story to be as entertaining as I did. It would not be the same story if they were two single, twenty-somethings.

There is something about the author's writing ability that transcends the story. What I mean is that it isn't just the story (that appeals to me) but also how the author tells the story. She does not focus singly on the sex. She does use a lot of words to describe how Maggie is feeling before during and after she gives in to Josh.
