The Bedtime Tales of Be287m

November 8, 2009: I have moved. While I have appreciated asstr, I decided I wanted a website will more illustrations and other features than they could support. So I've set up a new site: Big Ed's Place, www.besplace.com. I've migrated my best stories there and will post my new stories there. I also have musings, reviews, and galleries, with no ads or pop-ups. Come check it out!
August 24, 2008: The final chapter of Fireworks, Chapter Three, is now available.
August 17, 2008: Chapter Two of the Fireworks is now available.
August 10, 2008: Almost five years ago, I published my first story, which was the first story in the Holiday Series. I'm pleased to announce that Chapter One of the sixth story, Fireworks, is now available. Chapter Two will be released one week from today and the final part one week after that.
January 5, 2008: I've updated my link to the Gold Clitoride awards. Please stop by and nominate any stories that you believe rose to superior standards in 2007. Then we'll all get to enjoy reading the nominees and winners when they're announced.
December 5, 2007: Friends and Benefits Chapter Thirty-eight and the Epilogue are now available.
November 28, 2007: Finally. Friends and Benefits Chapter Thirty-seven is done and now released. The final chapter, Chapter Thirty-Eight, and the epilogue will be released in one week (December 5).
October 3, 2007: Work's been heavier than I expected. However, I'm happy to announce that Friends and Benefits Chapter Thirty-six
August 13, 2007: The good news for me is that I got a promotion at work. The bad news is it means less time to write. Foruntately Friends and Benefits Chapter Thirty-five is now released. My best guess for Chapter thirty-six is September.
July 8, 2007: Missed by one day. Friends and Benefits Chapter Thirty-four is now available. Chapter Thirty-five will be up in early August.
June 8, 2007: Friends and Benefits Chapter Thirty-three is now up. I'm aiming for Chapter Thirty-four by July 7, but no guarantees.
May 23, 2007: Friends and Benefits Chapter Thirty-two is now available. Chapter Thirty-three should be up before June 13.
May 18, 2007: Regretfully, Chapter 32 of Friends and Benefits is delayed. I had to work massive overtime on my job for a couple of weeks, and so I've slipped behind. It'll be up as soon as I can manage, and probably before June, but no promises.
April 22, 2007: I'm back in the rhythm and so Friends and Benefits Chapter Thirty-one is now available. Thirty-two should be available before mid-May.
March 31, 2007: Wow. March sped by much faster than I'd expected. Friends and Benefits Chapter Thirty is now available. The next chapter will be available in April, hopefully a little sooner than later.
March 4, 2007: March is here! My work crunch is done, and now I'm sorting through all the things that didn't get done while I was in the office. So Friends and Benefits Chapter Twenty-nine is now done and I hope to have Chapter Thirty released by the end of the month.
January 27, 2007: I was wrong. I'm working 70 hour weeks, which means no writing it getting done at all. Fortunately, the end is in sight. I'll get back to Friends and Benefits in March. In the meantime, Dealing with the Devil is a finalist for a Golden Clitorides. Go check out the stories and vote for the ones you think are best.
December 17, 2006: Real life has gotten extremely busy. I expect to be working 60+ hours/week from now until mid-February, which will obviously hurt my writing. I've managed to squeeze Friends and Benefits Chapter Twenty-eight out, but it'll be a while for the remaining ones, unfortunately.
November 26, 2006: I'm happy to announce that I've been nominated for two Golden Clitorides. One is for Dealing with the Devil and the other is for Friends and Benefits if I can get it done by December 31. I'm pretty confident I won't be able to make it (there are still 5-6 chapters to go), but it's still an honor to be nominated. I encourage everyone to check out the Gold Clitorides and vote for the best stories.; I'm also happy to announce that Friends and Benefits Chapter Twenty-seven is now available.
November 5, 2006: Happy Guy Fawkes Day! I decided--why wait until Armistice Day when there's a perfectly good holiday before then? Friends and Benefits Chapter Twenty-six is now up. I haven't a clue when Chapter 27 will be available. Life suddenly got busy at work and we're still sorting out all the implications.
October 31, 2006: Friends and Benefits Chapter Twenty-five is now available. Chapter Twenty-five should be up by Armistice Day (November 11).
October 30, 2006: Wine Maker released a story titled Honorable Infidelity. Those who know Wine Maker realized it was missing a few things--specifically violence. So I wrote a companion piece, Honorable In Fidelity.
October 14, 2006: Friends and Benefits Chapter Twenty-four is now up. Unfortunately, my streak of releasing a chapter per week has ended. Chapter Twenty-five won't be for a couple of weeks. I'm going to aim for before Halloween, but no promises.
October 8, 2006: Friends and Benefits Chapter Twenty-three is now available. I expect Chapter Twenty-four to be available on the 15th or 16th, but I'm not as confident of that as I've been of the last few chapters.
October 1, 2006: Friends and Benefits Chapter Twenty-two is up.
September 24, 2006: My job has finally let up, much to the benefit of my writing. Friends and Benefits Chapter Twenty-one is now available. Chapter Twenty-two will be released on October First and Chapter Twenty-three will be available approximately a week after that.
August 20,2006: There's good news and bad news. The good news is that Friends and Benefits Chapter Twenty is now available. The bad news is that I now have to devote myself pretty heavily to my job, so Chapter 21 won't be available until late September.
August 15, 2006: Friends and Benefits Chapter Nineteen is now available. It took a little longer than I'd expected, because I actually wrote a long scene that will now appear in Chapter 20. So the good news for Chapter 20 is that it's already half written. The bad news is that I have to spend many of my evenings for the next couple of weeks doing stuff for my job. So I think that's going to average out and mean Chapter 20 will be out in early September, but again, I'm not promising anything right now.
July 16, 2006: Wow. I actually got a chapter done in three weeks, my original schedule when I started Friends and Benefits. Friends and Benefits Chapter Eighteen is now available. Cross your fingers for the next one. I'm confident Chapter 19 will be out in August; hopefully in the first half if real life allows it.
June 26, 2006: I think the phrase is "not dead yet." Though the past two months have made me wonder. We've had four out of town trips (three weddings, one graduation), a ton of work at the job, and one trip to the emergency room that resulted in emergency surgery. I'm recovering fine, but writing has, understandably, been slow. Nonetheless, Friends and Benefits Chapter Seventeen is now available. I'd like to say something about when eighteen will be available, but frankly, it depends on too many factors beyond my control. Thanks for your patience.
May 30, 2006: The final chapter of Dealing with the Devil, Chapter Three is now available.
May 23, 2006: Dealing with the Devil Chapter Two is now available.
May 16, 2006: Last fall, I took on a challenge to write a story in Nick Scipio's Summer Camp Universe. This was done with Nick's approval and assistance, though the plot and a handful of the characters are my own. It's called Dealing with the Devil and Chapter One is now available. I'll be releasing Chapter Two on or before May 25 and Chapter Three the week after that.
May 9, 2006: Friends and Benefits Chapter Sixteen is now up. Chapter seventeen will be when work lets me get it done. No earlier than June 5, though.
May 7, 2006: Quick status update: I was aiming for April 15 for the next chapter of Friends and Benefits, but my job has gone nuts. I'm not abandoning it, but it's slow. Soon, though. Just be patient.
March 15, 2006: Well, real life slapped me in the face this last month and I had no writing time as a result. As a result, Friends and Benefits Chapter Fifteen is up much later than I expected. While I think I'm past having to work overtime at my job, I'm also cynical. So I'm not signing up to a specific date for Chapter Sixteen yet, though I'm hoping for well before April 15.
February 12, 2006: Things went a little faster than expected. Friends and Benefits Chapter Fourteen is now up. I currently expect Chapter Fifteen to be available between March 5 and March 15.
February 11, 2006: I've made some changes to my story index page. First, I realized that the dates were wrong on a couple of stories (such as The Ugly One). They were the date the first chapter was released and not the last chapter. So I fixed that. I also decided to clean it up and add some intermediate pages. Hopefully it will be easier to navigate and easier for me to provide url's when I post story notices.

January 5, 2005: The Ugly One is now complete. The Ugly One Chapter Fourteen and the Epilogue are now available.
January 1, 2005: I wrote a silly little piece, based on a comment about storiesonline codes and their popularity. It's called 9.7
December 30, 2004: The Ugly One Chapter Thirteen is done. Chapter 14 will be the last chapter, along with an epilogue
December 7, 2004: The Ugly One Chapter Twelve is up!
December 5, 2004: I completed a new flash story, I Never Was.
November 17, 2004: The Ugly One Chapter Eleven is up. We're in the home stretch now, just a few more chapters to go.
November 4, 2004: What can I say? I got inspired for a few days. The Ugly One Chapter Ten is up. Note that I do not expect Chapter 11 to be up so quickly. I have some real life things to take care of the next several days.
October 31, 2004: Happy Halloween! The Ugly One Chapter Nine is out!
October 18, 2004: I'm pround to announce Dr. Seuss Provides the Girls won the 2004 Golden Clitoride for Best Erotic Poetry!
October 12, 2004: The Ugly One Chapter Eight is out!
September 19, 2004: The Ugly One Chapter Seven is done!
August 28, 2004: The Ugly One Chapter Six is done!
August 20, 2004: I've completed a new Flash story, The Eye of the Hurricane, as part of Jack Lipton's Hurricane challenge (I'll link to his challenge page when it becomes available)
August 6, 2004: The Ugly One Chapter Five is done! The remaining chapters will be released about every 2-3 weeks (my fiancee is moving in!)
July 19, 2004: The Ugly One Chapter Four has been released!
July 11, 2004: My new website goes online. It's not fancy, but it's here. This is just a temporary site. I'll put something snazzier up once I've conquered html. Until then, I hope you enjoy the time you spend here.
