Good news and bad news -- the good news is that everything is sitting safe in a little box over on the shelf. The bad news, for some, is that it isn't on this website anymore. For the time being, I'm leaving up the PDFs and ePubs, though.
Thanks to the hundred or so of you who have written in the last two weeks, since I posted the notice below.
Check back in September, October or so -- I'll probably be back around then.

Why?
Lots of reasons, many of them personal, but among them: I'm getting old, I'm running out of time, I have more important things I need to do with what little time I have, some parts aren't fun anymore, I'm not sure who I'm writing for, and a bunch of shit like that.
You're just going to yank the whole damn thing down?
Yup. If you want a copy of something, better get it now you're too late. If the site was still up, I'd be sorely tempted to go in and fix things, add just a little bit, just this once. Cold fucking turkey.
But what about... And... Aren't you going to... Don't you feel you owe your readers anything?
Get used to it. Things change. Still have your recipt? Drop by and I'll refund your money.

Yup. Came really close to just doing it, but decided to put up a warning first. It's been a trip.

Of course not. I'll stop writing when I stop breathing. But the writing I do will be for me, when I want to do it.
So you'll be back?
Maybe after a year or so. I'll archive everything, but don't hold your breath.
What about e-mail?
Haven't fully decided. Do not count on replies from me. That hotmail account gets about a hundred pieces of spam a day, thankfully most of them filtered out. I'll probably hold on to the account just in case.

Nope, see above. I'm going to put it in a small box, nail the box closed, and put it on a shelf. That's the plan.

Oh yeah. It's been a trip -- I've learned a lot, and had a lot of fun, but it's time to move on.
