The Darkside is the story of an alternate reality. The main
character is an ordinary boy put through extraordinary temptations.
Continue, dear Reader... with the Beginning of the Story.
Darkside: United States of Anarchy
In a chaotic world, a boy is traumatized by the assault on his
family. Fleeing to a dangerous cave, he finds an artifact of great
power. His every dream fulfilled, he attacks the raiders who
hurt his family. That done, he raises a great palace, and
begins to deal with what he has wrought, ruling the nearby area.
But things may not be as easy as he thinks.

We have a hint that other forces are behind Robert's power.
The foil to his darkness fascinates him, and she observes him
wheel and deal. He plans for the future and begins to understand
the consequences of his actions. This lesson is underscored when
he puts his Super Powered Team under the command of a bully. With
Robert distracted, the bully plays havok with his people.

# 10... "When The Cat's Away, The Mice Will Play"
His control breaks out another level, to the North East U.S. We
change then to vignettes of life under the Imperial system. People
react to the Empire; Some see it as a place of opportunity and
refuge, others as an abomination. Even under his very Palace,
there are things Robert is not aware of. The Wanderer's story
shows more forces beyond that of the Emperor.

# 15... "The Green Eyed Wanderer"
Beginning to come back, we see more vignettes, before the core story resumes;
more forces gathered into the Empire. The Wanderer's Tormentor makes an appearance,
this time visiting the trucker from #12. Back in the Palace, Rebecca works on Imperial
Law, and Robert's military ambitions works to control another level of territory.
