Hopefully in the process providing that author with at least one viable reason as to what you liked about the story. This small amount of time spent will no doubt inspire the author to write more and possibly at a quicker pace, knowing that they have a fan base who are waiting on their next works. So thanks for the feedback and please keep it comin. "Hey," I said to Lisa (Wilcox) as she passed me on my way out of math class. "How's Patty?" "Had a pretty good headache but she's fine now," Lisa said. "Just got kinda of spooked by the whole thing." "So is Mindy," I said. "More now than before." "I don't get what people get out of being a bully," Lisa wondered aloud. "I have no idea," I admitted. "But here comes one who could probably tell us." "Oh, Veronica," Lisa muttered as the big orge lumbered by with a dirty look towards me. "That girl, if she is a girl, is gonna cause me or her to be hurt if she keeps picking on my friends," I said loud enough for her to hear if she was listening. "CALLY!" Dakota squealed as she came charging down the hall and tried to stop but crashed into Lisa instead. Lisa giggling as she kept her from falling over. "Sorry, and Ummmm hi there." "Hi there yourself," Lisa giggled with a smile. "One breath at a time." "President Carlson finally woke up from his nap and handed down a suspension," Dakota said. "Or was she expelled? I'm not sure which. I was too excited to make sure but I do know she's been kicked out of school." "Who?" Lisa and I asked in unison. "Selena," Dakota said as I smiled. "I've gotta go tell Patty," Lisa said excitedly. "See ya." "Bye," I said as she ran off down the hall. "I wonder why Maxie didn't get tossed too?" Dakota asked as she gave me a look as if I should have known something. "Don't give me that look this is the first I've heard of this," I said. "It is." "The daughter of the schools current owner didn't have anything to do with her girlfriend not getting expelled..." "I got detention," Maxie said as she came up from down the hall. "And no Cally didn't do anything. Patty and Mindy both said Selena jumped them and I helped them." "See," I said to Dakota. "I don't have any pull around here." "You wouldn't use it to help me anyway," Maxie accused me. "Yes I would," I said. "We're still friends as far as I know." "We are?" Maxie asked in surprise. "Yes we are," I said. "If you need my help you can still count on me being there." "Me too," Dakota said as Bre rounded the corner and stopped at her locker and listened quietly. "Remember we're the Mintz." "What are the Mintz?" Bre asked as she came over to join us from her locker. "That's us," Maxie said as she pointed to me, Dakota and then herself. "Plus Mindy, Chloe and Cindy." "The lesbians forming there own gang?" Bre asked as everyone laughed. "Yes we are," I said. "You wanna join do you?" "I don't know what you're talking about I don't like girls," Bre lied. "Even I know you're lying," Maxie giggled as Bre blushed. "Why don't you two go away," Bre said to Dakota and Maxie. "Want some one-on-one time with Cally, huh?" Maxie asked as her and Dakota laughed and walked off. "So you're really single now?" Bre asked as she leaned against the locker beside me. "Maxie dumped me," I said. "Literally. So I'm single now." "That's good news, for you," Bre said. "And you too," I said as she shrugged. "Now we can hook up." "You wish," She said. "I'm straight." "Yeah OK," I said. "Are you going to the Christmas Carnival?" "I said I was," She replied. "Are you?" "Mindy and Dakota are going for sure and dragging me along," I said. "Think you might save me a dance?" "I think I can do that," She said with a coy tone to her voice. "You really wanna dance with me?" "Yes I do," I said as she smiled. "I really think I could be into you." "Rebound romance much?" "Not at all," I said. "Maxie and I were...not in love." "OHHH," She said in confusion. "But you'd been with her for like 3 months or so from what I heard." "Fights, breaking up and making up is the only thing we ever seemed to do," I said honestly. "I'm ready for something a little less hostile." "But I love screaming matches, fist fights and attempted murders," Bre said as I started laughing. "So unless you love drama you best stay away from me." "I'll have to for now cause we got class," I said as she smiled and we walked off in opposite directions on our way to class.
"Hey," Maxie said as she came out of the side of the 'Carlson Center' and stopped by me as I stood on the steps flipping through a magazine. "Hey Max," I said with a smile as she snuggled in close and made me giggle. "Friendly aren't we?" "Yes I am to the girl whose gonna give me some," Maxie announced with an obviously horny grin. "Remember you wanna be in with the Mintz." "Very romantic," I said sarcasticly as she laughed. "I know, I try," She giggled. "I meant I'd like you to act like you like me at least a little before we do something," I clarifed. "But I do like you," Maxie said as I smiled. At least she was trying. "I really do. I have ever since we met." "Yes and for two of those three months you had a girlfriend you were madly in love with," I said. "Girlfriend? Check. In love? Sorry but no," Maxie said. "Mostly sex with Cally and me." "I didn't really need to know that," I said as she shrugged. "But good to know you're at least free when we do it." "We can do romance if you want, I'll try," Maxie said. "But you'll have to do it or show me, tell me what to do cause I have no idea when it comes to stuff like that." "Your parents never got romantic and ran you off to the bedroom?" Chloe asked. "You never got any ideas from that?" "My Mom is a drunk whore who didn't know anything about romance," Maxie said. "And no idea who my Dad is." "I'm sorry Max," I said as I touched her hand. "Me too, I never had anyone to teach me how to protect myself from those scary butterflies," Maxie said as I started laughing. "Two of them got after me yesterday." "You're a ham, Maxie Bradlidge," I said as she grinned. "But I tell you what..." "Yes?" She asked in a comical sounding DEEP male voice. "Stop that!" I said as she grinned. "If you like me as much as you say you do then you'll go with me to the Christmas Carnival dance. And actually hang out with me. No drinking and no drugs." "Why not?" She asked. "You said I'm funny when I'm drunk." "I like you better when you're sober," I said as she smiled brightly. "Promise me?" "If you kiss me," She said as she pooched out her lips and made me giggle. But it still didn't prevent me from kissing those cute lips. "WOW!" "Christmas Carnival?" I asked. "Yes, anything you want," Maxie said as she slipped her arms around me and surprised with a kiss, a bit rough but nice once she relaxed her lips. I sure hope Cally don't mind.
"That is so cool, thanks," Cindy said as I walked up and found her talking to Patty Peterson. "You're welcome," Patty said to Cindy. "I'll let you know if you've been selected." "You do that, bye," Cindy said as Patty walked off. "So cool." "What is?" I asked. "Patty and Lisa talked me up big time to Coach Rowe on the Varsity softball team and she thinks she might be able to get me into a weekend softball work shop for 8th graders," Cindy said. "I'd leave on Friday afternoon and come back on late Sunday." "That's so good," I said as we exchanged fist pounds. "And it'll be 4 weekends in a row," Cindy said. Her enthusiasm soon fading as she realized something. "I can't go though." "Why not?" "Mindy gets scared when she's all alone," Cindy said. "And even if it's not my job really I have to stay here..." "She can stay with Dakota can't she?" I asked. "No because I don't want her spending the night with Dakota like their married," Cindy said flatly. "Our parents, who are very hippie liberal, also wouldn't like that. Besides they're moving way too fast." "Look I don't see a problem with her staying with Dakota but if it bugs you that she will be she can come bunk with me," I volunteered. "I promise to take good care of her." "No thanks she's already corrupt enough," Cindy said as I started laughing. "You're right she is," I said. "I'll probably be able to talk her and Dakota into a threesome. Find out if she really does have an all over tan." "I'm gonna kick your ass like you were on Monster Slayer," She said as I laughed. "Well I'll just pretend to be one of the monsters on the 15th level and you won't be able to touch me," I said as she gave me a dirty look. "Cause you can't get off the 14th level." "Good point," She admitted. "I'm coming over tonight and see if I can finally beat it." "And if I have plans?" I asked. "With who?" "It could be that cute Asian girl with the big titties and great tan," I said as I pointed to a girl down the hall. One that was standing with a book clutched to her chest and looking down as if she didn't wanna talk to anyone. "Who is that?" "You got plans with her and you don't even know her name?" Cindy asked with a smirk. "Who is it?" I insisted as Cindy giggled. "Cammy Yang, she's a new foreign exchange student from Beijing," Cindy said. "She's having trouble learning english and she's really lonely. That's her friend Kimmy with Miss Harris." "They look a lot a like..." I commented or started to when we got interrupted. "CINDY!" Mindy screamed from down the hall. "See ya tonight," Cindy said as she took off to meet her sister. The shy girl, Cammy, looking up at that moment and catching my eye and half-smiling before looking away again. I decided to go down and talk to her and at least try to make her feel a little more welcome. "Hi," I said to get her attention a few moments later. She looked up and grinned. "I'm Cally." "UMMMMMMM..." she stuttered, unsure what to say. "Cammy, right?" I asked as she grinned wider. Shaking my hand a moment later. "You're new here?" "Uh huh," She said. I quickly figured out she understood English pretty good but was having trouble speaking it. "UMMMMMM..." "English giving you trouble?" I asked as she shook her head yes. "Me too," I said as she started laughing. Drawing the attention of her friend who came over to join us. "Hi." "Hi," Kimmy said. "Why she laugh?" "Oh I asked if she was having trouble with English and I said I was too," I said as Kimmy giggled. "Tough language." "You funny," Kimmy said. "Cally," Cammy finally said to get my attention as she smiled at me. "Cally?" "That's me," I said. "And who are you?" "HMMMMMM," She murmured and then playfully reached over and tickled my chin as I jumped away laughing. She grinned smugly. "She like tickle," Kimmy warned me as she pointed to her friend. "Really?" I asked as Kimmy nodded her head to confirm. "Maybe you two wanna come over to my room tonight and we can all three tickle each other?" "Oh my," Cammy said in surprise as Kimmy blushed and covered her face. I grinned victoriously. "Friends?" "You know it," I said as I touched her hand and she smiled brightly. This would be the beginning of a beautiful friendship.
