Summary: In the ALL NEW 14th episode of 'Scent of a Girl: Beginnings', Cally's 'Albert' problem creeps up again when she accidently bumps into Bre (literally). Later, Mindy wants Dakota to go to the annual Christmas dance with her but a secret that Dakota's not shared just may prevent that from happening. Finally, while the 'Mintz' are all together for a movie night Cally gets the call her and Maxie has been waiting for.

"Any word from that Julia girl?" Maxie asked as she came up from down the hall.

"She sent me a message last night and said she was getting a cell phone soon and she'd call me," I said as Maxie grinned knowingly. "So maybe you should come over tonight. And oh yeah, where did you go last night?"

"Getting some off Chloe?" Maxie asked as I rolled my eyes. "She wanted me to watch this lame ass chick flick with her, and I did."

"Why didn't you just tell her no?" I asked.

"I don't know," Maxie said as she fell in step beside me as I headed for class. "I kinda get all stupid when she asks me to do stuff. I'm sorry."

"I know you're sorry now apologize," I said as Maxie laughed and then punched my arm before running off and disappearing into the crowd before I could catch up to her. "YOU'RE GONNA GET IT."

"Miss Oliver, I think using your inside voice is advisable in this instance," Miss Harris (the school librarian) said in her shrill voice from behind me.

"Yes ma'am," I said as I turned to meet her.

"Now off to class," She said as I glared at her for a moment before walking off.

"Bitch," I muttered under my breath as I headed off to class. Though I ended up crashing into someone as I glared at the back of the head of Miss Harris for a long moment.

"Watch it," Bre said as her books crashed to the floor. I leaned down to help her and got a dirty look for my trouble.

"I'm sorry I wasn't watching where I was going," I said.

"Go away, Albert," Bre said as she collected the now scattered papers back into one pile.

"The name is Cally and why are you mad at me?" I asked.

"Because you acted like you liked me and then it turns out you have a girlfriend," Bre said.

"We'd hardly even met when you talked to me at the park that day," I said. "Why would you think I liked you? And I'm not saying I wouldn't..."

"I thought that because of the way you looked at me that day you and Cindy stopped Misti from jumping me," Bre said.

"I guess I was kind of staring at you that day," I admitted as Bre half-smiled. The last of her scattered papers being collected by me as I looked down and saw a flier for an event I didn't even know was happening. "The Christmas Carnival dance?"

"Yeah it's the last week before Christmas break," She said as I looked at the flier.

"I didn't even know we had a dance coming up," I said as we both stood and the hallway cleared out slowly but surely.

"Not really a dance so much as a get together for the students to just hangout for a while," Bre said as she took the flier back. "You can bring a date though, if you want, cause there will be dancing, obviously."

"Be kinda stupid to call it a dance if there was none," I said as Bre giggled.

"Very true, Albert," She said with a smirk.

"My name is Cally," I said as she grinned. "Do you have memory problems?"

"Do you have problems deciding your sexuality?" She fired back and laughed at my dirty look directed at her.

"That makes no sense I can't decide that," I said.

"Yes you can you can have a sex change," She said as I started laughing.

"OK, enough of the witty banter," I said as I picked my bag up. "I got class. So...can we be friends?"

"Sure Al...Cally," She finished as I gave her a certain look. "Maybe I'll see you at the dance?"

"Maybe," I said as we parted ways and I had to admit that she certainly had a way of getting under my skin, though it was in a good way.

"Guess what I found out?" Mindy asked as she sat down beside me just inside the side exit of the Carlson center. "Just guess."

"You're gonna take some nude pics for me with your new digital camera?" I asked as she blushed.

"You wouldn't like that...wait, would you?" She rambled.

"I wouldn't say no if you did," I said as she grinned. "So what did you find out?"

"Oh yeah, this!" She said excitedly as she showed me a flier. "The Christmas Carnival dance?"

"Yes and I love to dance will you go with me? Please?" She asked. "Please?"

"Of course I will," I said nervously and trying to figure out how to tell her that I didn't know how to dance. "But..."

"We'll have the best time ever I promise," She said as she hugged my arm and kissed my cheek. "You sure?"

"Only if you gimme some tonight," I whispered in her ear as she giggled and instantly agreed as she kissed me.

"I'll do that just because you asked," She said as I grinned. "You always make me feel so good."

"And you too my perfectly tanned..."

"MINDY!"

"Huh?" Mindy asked as she looked down the hall to see Patty Peterson standing there. "Oh no, I completely forget she's tutoring me. See ya after?"

"You're always a whirlwind aren't you?" I asked as she giggled and nodded before kissing me good bye, popping up and running to meet Patty down the hall.

"Now what am I gonna do?" I muttered to myself as the reality of not knowing how to dance suddenly set-in. I either had to quickly learn how to or tell her the truth and hurting her because she wanted to go sooo bad. "Dakota you're a moron."

"Is my sister here?" Mindy asked as I met her in the hallway on the way back from getting a soda.

"Yeah she's in my room playing a game," I said as Mindy nodded. "You wanna hang out for a while?"

"Only if you want me," Mindy chirped as I smiled and laid an arm around her shoulder as we walked back to the room.

"Look what I found," I said as we came back into my room. Cindy pausing the game and looking up.

"What are you doing here?" Cindy asked her sister.

"Looking for you, duh," Mindy said as I started laughing. "Actually Mom called again and wanted to know if we wanted to spend Christmas at home or at Grandma's in Oregon?"

"Don't matter to me," Cindy said as she resumed playing her game. "You can decide for all of us."

"Yeah that sounds like a good idea," Mindy said as she sat down on the end of my bed. "Then you bitch about it so much that you ruin the trip for everyone."

"That sounds like Cindy," I said as I crawled up the bed and laid down as Mindy giggled and Cindy shot me a dirty look. "Seriously, you do bitch a bunch."

"Bitch a bunch?" Mindy asked me with a giggle. "That's sounds funny."

"And you look funny," I said as I pushed her with my foot and she giggled. A knock coming at the door as Mindy got up to answer it and finding Maxie and her new friend Shelby on the other side. "Hi, Max, who's your friend?"

"This is Shelby, remember?" Maxie asked as they came in and closed the door and came to join me on the bed.

"Hey," Cindy said from the floor as she waved her hand. "Anybody wanna play Monster Slayer?"

"I have that game at home," Shelby said. "Can we play co-op?"

"What's co-op?" Mindy asked.

"Co-op means two players helping each other," Cindy explained to her sister as Shelby sat down on the floor by Cindy and took the other controller as the two soon got lost in a game as they tag-teamed the monsters.

"Did your Dad call back?" Maxie asked as Mindy went to look through my DVD's. "He called when you were in the shower a couple days ago."

"Oh yeah," I said. "He wants me to go to some wedding for one of his business buddies. No way I'm going."

"Yeah if you did you might have to wear a dress," Cindy said as her and Shelby paused the game. "And shave your legs."

"For the first time," Maxie finished as everyone started laughing.

"My legs are plenty smooth you buncha hyenas," I said as Maxie rolled onto her back laughing.

"Hey can I borrow this movie?" Mindy asked as she held up a DVD that I'd literally just bought on the internet.

"Mindy you have 9 million movies already why do you need to bug her about borrowing one?" Cindy asked.

"Because it's a good movie or it looks good," Mindy said.

"Why don't we watch it now?" I asked. "None of us have any plans."

"Yeah we just got killed anyway," Shelby said as the game they were playing had ended. "Wanna watch too?"

"Can't really play and watch at the same time because we'd bug them with the noise."

"The DVD player is under the other TV," I said as I pointed to the Tv on the stand by the closet. Mindy put the DVD into the player and crawled up the bed and laid down (while giggling) between me and Maxie. Shelby and Cindy pulling up pillows as they camped out in the floor. And don't you just know that as soon as the movie got interesting the damn phone had to begin ringing. "Damn it, can you hand me the phone, Shelby?"

"Here you go," She said as she held it up.

"Hello?" I asked as I plucked it from her hand.

"Cally?" the girl on the other end asked.

"Yeah who is this?" I asked.

"Your Omaha fucktoy? Julia?" She asked as I grinned and told Max I'd be right back as I slid off the bed and went into the bathroom. Turning on the shower to hopefully drowned out the sound of my voice as the others continued watching the movie. "How are you?"

"I'm pretty good actually," I said as I sat down on the toilet, "You?"

"Well since your dad ran me out of Omaha I ended up in Green Bay," She explained.

"Wisconsin?"

"No, Kentucky," She said as I laughed at my own stupidity. "Yes, Wisconsin."

"So you're OK?"

"Yeah I'm pretty good too," She confirmed. "My buddy Holly got me a place to stay with her friend Megan until I could get on my feet. But now I got my own place."

"Oh so you got friends and all?" I asked.

"Yeah, Holly is a good girl, she's having trouble with her family right now and all so she's crashing on my couch," Julia explained. "Her old man Eugene called her a few nights ago and begged her to come home. Her Mom's a real witch though."

"I'm glad you're doing good," I said. "I missed you."

"Yeah I knew you did," She said. "But which part of me did you miss the most?"

"I meant that not in a sexual way," I said.

"I know you did," She said. "But I'm horny as all hell and I wanna know what part of me you missed most."

"Well why don't you come for a visit and I'll show you," I said. "How does that sound?"

"Can I bring my girlfriend?" She asked in a bit of a surprise.

"You have one?" I asked.

"That cute black girl in my profile pic?" She asked.

"Yeah?"

"That's her," Julia said. "She's invited?"

"As long as I get both of you at the same time," I said.

"What about your girlfriend? Maxie is it?"

"She wants to join in," I said. "So I get all three of you?"

"I sure hope you can handle all the butt fucking we're gonna make you do," Julia said as I smiled and my hormones surged. "Cause I've got a special surprise for you when we come down that you're gonna love me for."

"That sounds like heaven to me," I said. "You coming before Christmas?"

"I was thinking we'd leave out tonight if you can get me a place to crash," Julia said.

"Well you can stay right here," I said. "I'll get you a campus pass. Dad's never around anyway so he'll never know."

"I'll call you in the morning when we get close," Julia said before we hung up. And Maxie, well you can say she was a little excited. So much so that she nearly peed her panties when she heard the news some two hours later.
