Hopefully in the process providing that author with at least one viable reason as to what you liked about the story. Lindsey may experience a little deja vu as the new girl across the street may shake her life up a little bit. Is she as sweet and nice as she seems? Original Airdate: March 30, 2010 @ 8:30 p.m. (following an ALL NEW 'My First Time') Story Codes: no sex ![]() Allie laughed as she wiped the ice cream from Lindsey's face. The two sat on the front porch swing watching the new family move into the house across the street. It had been six months since Allie's father had left. When she told him that if he didn't move far away she would reveal all of his “misgivings” to the world, he said his goodbyes and left for the city. Allie had healed up quite well. She walked with a cane, but was being weaned off of it. “I wonder if they have any kids?” Lindsey wondered as the movers finished up and the family themselves pulled up in a very expensive looking Mercedes. Both girls watched as a man in his early 40's opened the driver's door and stepped out. He was wearing an open sport coat and, although he had long hair tied back in a ponytail, looked very respectable. He walked to the other side and opened the door. A beautiful, blonde haired, woman stepped out and kissed him passionately. Lindsey and Allie watched with interest, thinking that this was the whole family. As the man and woman walked toward the house, they saw the door in the back seat open and a girl, who had to be about 17 years old, step out of the car and adjust her black mini-skirt. Even with the angry scowl on her face, it has plain to see that she was gorgeous. Her black and white, striped shirt came just to below her breasts, she apparently was use to a more southern climate considering it was February. She fumbled in her things and pulled out a blue-jean jacket. The girls were about to go and introduce themselves to her when Nick pulled up to the driveway. “Hey girls, where's Jamie?” Nick said as he walked up to the porch, holding a wrapped gift. “She's in the kitchen attempting to cook.” Lindsey said as Nick planted a kiss on her forehead and laughed. He walked in to the kitchen to find Jamie pulling something that resembled the remains of a frozen pizza out of the oven. It was now a dark brown and stunk up the kitchen. “Damn it! I think the instructions are printed wrong or something.” Jamie said as Nick walked up and kissed her. He looked at the box and then at the oven. “You are aware that you had it set on 200 degrees higher than it should have been, right?” Nick asked as he took the smoking mess and dumped it in the trash can. “I was in a hurry. I figured it would bake quicker that way.” Jamie said, now frustrated as she realized her mistake. “I guess we'll be ordering out for dinner.” Jamie started to sulk until she noticed the bright package in Nick's hands. “Oh! For me?” “Yep, Happy Birthday, Sweetheart.” Nick handed over the gift and laughed as Jamie ripped into it like a child on Christmas. Inside she found a gold, heart locket. She opened it and smiled when she read, “Nick and Jamie, together forever.” Jamie jumped into Nick's waiting arms. “Nicky, I love it!” “I thought you would. So shall we tell the girls that dinner is going to be a little late.” Nick said as he dodged the swat from Jamie's dishtowel. ---------------------L8r----------------Lindsey and Allie's room----------
“Uuuggghhhh......I ate too much.” Allie said as she flopped down onto the bed. She looked over and saw Lindsey looking over some papers on her computer table. “What are you doing?” “I'm finishing my homework. What are you doing?” Lindsey said as she poked Allie with her own cane. The two playfully wrestled with it for a minute before Lindsey went back to her work. Allie decided to watch some TV and turned it to Cartoon Network. Family Guy was on, so she kept herself amused while Lindsey finished her work and finally Allie's as well. It helped that they had some of the same classes so she just had to change a few things and make sure they both didn't get all of the same answers and nobody noticed. Lindsey gave her hell over being lazy when it came to schoolwork, but truthfully she didn't mind helping. She was just becoming annoyed that Allie was no longer even trying. She just expected Lindsey to do it for her. It wasn't long before Allie fell asleep. Lindsey put their homework into her backpack and got ready for bed. After getting herself ready she walked to the bed and pulled off Allie's shoes and pants before covering her up and sliding under as well. Lindsey smiled as she kissed Allie goodnight and drifted off to sleep. A few hours later Allie was woken up by a noise outside. She looked over at Lindsey, who apparently didn't hear it and was snoring quietly(for her,) and climbed out of bed. She walked to the window and looked out in time to see the girl from earlier grab the drainpipe outside of Allie's old bedroom window and slide expertly down. “Now why didn't I think of that” Allie chuckled to herself. The girl walked to the garage and disappeared inside. A few moments later she drove out in the Mercedes and left. Allie waited for about half an hour before she gave up her pointless excursion and went back to bed. -----------------L8r---------------Michael Douglas High School----------- “Class, we have a new student today.” Mr. Kendall said as Lindsey said in Biology, staring at her book. “Her name is Julia Andretti.” Lindsey looked up to see the girl next door standing nervously at the front of the room. Once again, she was barely passing dress code. Her brown hair now pulled back into a loose ponytail. Mr. Kendall ushered her to the empty desk in front of Lindsey and she took her seat. Lindsey took great notice when the girl smiled at her knowingly before sitting down and beginning to take notes, right off the bat. Lindsey found herself watching the new girls every move. Of course, so was everyone else in the class, so Lindsey didn't feel completely insane. She could smell the fruity perfume in the air, hear the soft click of her heels as she tapped her foot quietly. It was at this moment that Lindsey realized that she had crossed that line. The line between being in love with a girl and then realizing that you are attracted to women. Time passed slowly, but soon enough 3:25 did come. Lindsey stood and started grabbing her books, ready to go meet Allie at her locker and ride the bus home. The turned toward the door just as the new girl turned around and extended her hand, smiling warmly. Lindsey noticed what a drastic change this was from the scowl on her face yesterday. “I'm Julia. You're the girl who lives across the street from me, right?” “Yeah, I'm Lindsey. Where did you move from? You look like you're used to warmer weather.” Lindsey said this as she scoped the girl's ensemble. “We just moved here from Vegas. It's a hell of a gear change.” Julia said, giggling more to herself than Lindsey. “Do you drive to school?” “No, Allie and I usually take the bus. Did you need a ride?” Lindsey asked as they walked out of the room toward where she needed to meet Allie. “Allie? That's the girl who was with you yesterday, right? Is she your sister?” Lindsey didn't know how to approach that one. Since Allie's father left, they hadn't felt the need to keep their relationship secret, but the also didn't broadcast it. Basically, all of their friends new and didn't mind, if they did, then they didn't need to be their friends anyway. Lindsey decided to just be honest. “Actually, she's my girlfriend.” Lindsey watched for Julia's reaction. What she saw was the exact opposite of what she expected. “Sweet, how did you manage to get to live with your girlfriend?” Lindsey just laughed and said that it was a long story. “Oh, about the ride, No. I was gonna offer to give you guys a ride home. My dad let me borrow the car for the day, he said I should learn the roads around here.” “I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship.” Lindsey laughed as they arrived at Lindsey's locker. A moment later Allie walked up and gave Lindsey a “hello” kiss on the cheek and Lindsey introduced her to Julia. The trio walked to the parking lot and drove off toward home. Along the way they got to know each other, they also learned that Julia's father had been relocated in his current line of employment, which Julia tried to explain but only managed to confuse the girls, and that Julia herself hated the move. She had to leave all of her friends to leave for a completely different world. That's when she dropped the bombshell. “I miss my girlfriend most of all.” Julia said as she sighed. She looked over in the seat to see the wide-eyed look that she was receiving from her passengers. She just laughed. “What, I'm not allowed to be gay?” Allie was the first to speak up. “You could have told us that about twenty minutes ago.” She said with the grin continuing to spread across her face. “Yeah, that seems like important information. You already knew about us.” Lindsey said as she leaned back to give Allie a quick smooch. “It didn't seem relevant to our conversation.” Julia said laughing as she pulled into the driveway. She said her goodbye's, declining when they invited her over, saying that she had some phone calls to make and homework to do. They agreed to meet at the bus stop in the morning and went to their respective homes. Allie and Lindsey went straight up to their room. Lindsey kicked off her shoes and started jumping on the bed, giggling as Allie joined her.
“What are you so happy about?” Allie said as she tackled Lindsey to the bed and started attacking her ribs. “You have the hots for her, don't you?”
