Summary: In the ALL NEW 4th episode of 'Love of My Life', Manny and Amanda arrive back in town to find the object of their now combined rage asleep on the couch. Amanda confronts him first with the damning evidence as Manny watches on. Later, as the dusts settles from the 'Derrick' confrontation, Manny has a surprise visitor that is none to happy about her latest rescue of Amanda. A confrontation that leads to Manny figuring out once and for all how she feels about her long-time best friend.

I explained my plan to Amanda we drove back to the city from Brown County over the next hour or so. To which she happily agreed. Her mind finally free from the drug that was Derrick the scumbag. She actually snuggled up to me at one point along the trip and that was when I began to realize that maybe I wasn't as in love with her anymore as I once was. Too much hurt and anger to move past all at once. And factor into that there was also a certain scorching hot Russian immigrant named Stacy that both adored Kody and was making a huge play for my heart. I would have to figure all of this out later because we had just turned onto Amanda's street and of course there was Derrick's clunker sitting in the driveway.
Amanda seemed scared as I pulled up and got out and retrieved my golf club from the trunk. She followed and her eyes showed the alarm as she figured out that I was intending on hurting the bastard seriously. She grabbed onto it and begged me, "Please no Manny, look I know he did bad but you're gonna kill him..."
"And if you don't get off me I'll start with you" I said in a sinister voice. "You're not going back to him Amanda, you might as well get that through your thick ass skull. NEVER."
"OK, but the gold club?"
"He raped my baby, Kody is my baby, he's lucky I don't kill him" I said. "You tell me Kody is not my baby...go on."
"I know she is" Amanda said as she hugged me and we both cried in each others arms for a long moment. "Let's go."
Walking into the house and seeing scumbag passed out on the couch. I thought about the magnitude of the events about to take place and made mental minute-by-minute notes of what I wanted to do and the last thing was to leave the allusion of Derrick the child molester trying to rape me. Which wasn't gonna be easy I know but as you will see it wasn't all that hard either.
"WAKE UP ASSHOLE" Amanda screamed as she slapped his face as hard as she could and he opened his eyes and glared at her as he saw red.
"What the hell was that for you bitch?" He asked as he stood and I moved undetected to the back of the couch as Amanda gave him a look to kill and spilled the contents of the manila envelope on the floor as she screamed, "YOU RAPED MY BABY SISTER YOU PIECE OF SHIT."
He looked to be in shock as he knelt for a minute and picked one of them up and I swear the bastard smiled. I knew he thought Amanda was stupid enough to confront him by herself. So he could no doubt put her in the hospital and do away with the damning evidence before anyone could find them. She fearlessly smacked him once again as he rose and then tried to do it again when he grabbed her arm and asked, "Where did you get those?"
"FROM ME, YOU CHILD MOLESTER" I screamed as he turned to me and I swung the club and blasted him in the ribs. He screamed in pain as I came around the couch and said to Amanda, "NOOOOOOOOO, he's mine."
"I'LL KILL YOU..." He screamed in intense pain as I waited for him to get to a knee and swung again and saw it connect under his eye as he fell like a lump to the floor and screamed in agonizing pain like he had never known.
"Call the cops and tell them he tried to rape you" I said as Amanda picked up the phone and ran outside as if she were in a panic and I started to smash the club into the few things in this world that Derrick cherished. First his DVD cabinet as he covered his eye, which was damaged severely, he begged me to stop as I trashed everything I could that I knew was his. Somehow he managed to get back to feet as I watched and saw the damage I'd already done and smiled knowing he soooo deserved every bit of it. Blood pouring from behind his hand as he held what was left of his eye socket. I dropped the club and pushed him in a complete rage. I wanted him to hit me and he did, a hard smack right to the cheek, it was hard, but I'd had much worse. I staggered back and touched my face as he came near me and I timed it perfectly and with every muscle in my body straining I drilled him right in his manhood, the family jewels if you will. God what a sweet feeling it was watching him scream in pain. "THAT WAS FOR MY KODY BEAR, YOU BABY FUCKING CHILD MOLESTER."
"THAT'S MY BABY GIRL" I screamed as I started kicking him as hard as I could in the stomach. I swear I wanted to kill him. But one thing stopped me, a sound of blaring sirens as the police came down the street (someone alert the Georgia media...). Amanda played her part perfectly as I stopped kicking him as he began to puke blood and I laid down on the floor. Pulling the scumbag over to me, I spit in his face and started screaming for mercy as I intentionally pulled him on top of me for an instant as four cops stormed the place. Pulling a nearly dead Derrick off me as I screamed and backed away, pretending to be scared to death as Amanda ran into 'calm me down'.
"Thank you for saving me" Amanda said as she hugged me on the floor and said to the officers as they now held Derrick down and handcuffed him. "She saved my life, look what he did to me."
"Yeh he tried to rape me too and look at the pictures on the floor" I said in tears. "He raped her sister and took pictures."
"Ohmigod" The Officer said as he looked at them and looked visibly ill.
"They attacked me" Derrick said as they pulled him to his feet roughly and I closed my eyes as did Amanda at the damage to his eye. It was disgusting to look at, sorta like those pictures he took.
"You think it's OK to rape a little girl?" The Officer said as he put the photo's back in the envelope. He handed them to another officer as he did what he shouldn't have done and buried a fist in Derrick's ribs. He had to be pulled off by the others. God what a gratifying moment that was. They took our brief statements and scheduled a time that was convenient for us to come down and give a more detailed account. I just wanted to go home at this point. An hour later, Amanda now by my side, we got back to my place. Both surprised when Kody came out of Ms. Parker's door.
"HEY!" She practically screamed as she jumped into my arms.
"You OK Kody bear?" I asked as I hugged her and sat her down.
"Fine why? Me and Mr. Parker played strip poker" She said with a smirk. "He's a real perv."
"You did not" I said as she laughed and noticed Amanda for the first time.
"I don't wanna see you" Kody said to her sister as I hugged her from behind and kissed the top of her head.
"She dumped Derrick" I said as Kody looked up at me. "She wants to be your sister again."
"You still don't believe me" Kody said as I held her in my arms and kept her from running.
"I do now" Amanda said as she tried to hug Kody and was met by a hard slap.
"I HATE YOU" Kody screamed as she turned and hugged me. "He hurt me."
"You so deserved that" I said as Amanda looked as if her heart was breaking and I for once was not gonna run to her defense.
"Can we go to bed?" Kody asked me. "I don't wanna see her no more."
"Yeh" I said as I kissed her forehead and said, "You can sleep in my bed tonight, I'll be on in OK?"
"OK, don't be long?" Kody asked as I smiled and she quickly went into my apartment and slammed the door. After a few long moments of silence and Amanda crying, she said, "She hates me."
"No shit?" I asked as I opened my door and said, "You can sleep on the couch, we'll try and get some of this sorted out in the morning."
"Maybe we can talk more about us?" She asked as I turned and said, "You have no idea how much you hurt both of us over that child molesting..."
"I know" She said as she touched my hand and I pushed it away and growled, "No, you don't."
"OK..." She said as she looked at me in surprise.
"Just go lay down and get some rest" I said. "I'm exhausted."
"Doorbell" Amanda said just as I had slipped out of my shoes and was headed to the bedroom. I groaned and turned to answer it as Amanda went about making up the couch with the spar sheet set stored under the end table. Boy was I surprised to see Stacy standing on the other side and looking to be in a foul mood.
"What? You don't even call me?" Stacy asked as she came in uninvited. Going on before I could respond. "Miss Parker told me you ran off after your friend in some sorta rescue and you didn't even call, forget coming by, to see if Kody could stay with me?"
"I swear I didn't even think about it" I said softly. "It wasn't like I didn't want her to stay with you."
"That her? The girl you're sooo love with?" Stacy asked as she looked to Amanda, who stopped and met Stacy's gaze.
"Yeh that's me" Amanda said. "She finally told me tonight that she's had it bad for me for a long time."
"And you're the one dating the child molester right?" Stacy asked.
"I dumped him..."
"Until he sobers up and cons you back?" Stacy fired back. "How many times has that happened? This girl here has saved your ass more times than I can count just since I been here."
"You don't know anything about me" Amanda said as she circled the couch and stepped beside me and tried to take my hand but I pushed it away. That's honestly when it dawned on that Stacy was hurt because she thought I'd chosen Amanda over her and that's also the moment that made me realize how angry and hurt I was at my best friend for her treatment of Kody. "What? You said you were in love with..."
"I guess I'm in the wrong place" Stacy said as she turned to leave.
"STOP, EVERYONE SHUT UP" I demanded in an almost scream.
"I'm so mad at you right now" I said to Amanda in exactly the kind of voice you'd expect. "Go lay down and let me talk to her for a minute."
"You wanna talk to me?" Stacy asked as I closed the door behind me. Running my fingers through my hair as I tried to come up with the right words.
"Look Stace, I'm sorry, but this is what happened..." I said as I went about explaining everything that had happened over the last few weeks. Up to the current night and my rescue of Amanda and finally exacting some revenge on that low-life Derrick. We ended up at the end of the hall sitting Indian style on the floor, knees touching as she listened intently. "...I swear ever word is the truth."
"I believe you" She said softly as I smiled, relieved. "But you know how crazy I am about Kody, you should have thought of me first."
"Maybe I will from now on" I said as she gave me a shocked look as I slid my hand across her thigh and laced her fingers with mine. "I'm serious."
"What about Hillbilly girl?" She asked as I laughed and shook my head. Referring to Amanda.
"Amanda, please call her that?" I asked as she shrugged. "She's been through so much and..."
"And she could have stopped it long ago if she wanted too" Stacy said. "You don't have to feel sorry for her. You don't."
"I don't, not anymore" I said as Stacy smiled shyly. She looked around for a moment and saw that no one was currently in the hall with exception of her and me and before I could resist...she kissed me. An unbelievable kiss that left me panting with desire for this girl who was now across my thighs as we kissed again and this time like lovers. Parting only when the need for breathing became greater than the desire we both felt. "WOW."
"I'm falling in love with you Manny" Stacy said with her forehead touching mine as she caressed my cheek. How she knew all the things I loved was beyond me but she sure seemed too. I wrapped my arms around her and kissed her again. "Don't kiss me like that again unless you plan to come back to my place and do a lot more than that."
"Ohmigod I want to so bad it's insane right now" I said as my hormones really started trying to think for me. "So you want me?"
"I've wanted you since the moment I met you" Stacy said as she kissed me again. The moment then turning serious as she asked, "But you're still in love with Hillbilly girl. Right?"
"I dunno, I'm just so mad at her about what she did to Kody" I said as Stacy kissed me.
"You should be, that's a special kind of retardation" She said as I laughed and heard my front door creak as it opened and we both looked to see Kody standing there nervously. Grinning as she saw Stacy sitting across my thighs.
"Come here" Stacy said to Kody as she moved off my thighs and sat down back in her original spot. Kody stopping and dropping to her knees as Stacy guided the girl to turn her back as Kody scooted back between her thighs and grinned at me as Stacy hugged her from behind. "You see this?"
"Yeh" I said with a smile and watched Stacy and Kody smile at each other. Stacy running her fingers through Kody's curly hair and saying softly, "I love her too."
"You do?" Kody asked with a bright smile.
"Uh huh" Stacy said as she hugged her tighter. "I do."
"I love you too, and I want you to be with Manny" Kody said as my eyes opened somewhat at that announcement. "I do really. Manny is so good to me but she's lonely and still in love with my stupid sister I think, but if you try maybe she'll love you now."
"I think I already do" I said and blushed as both of them looked back at me. Stacy looking to be in shock, but not my little Kody bear.
"YESSSS!" Kody squealed as she jumped into my arms and hugged me happily. The sounds of joy drawing the attention of Amanda as she came to the door of the apartment and watched and listened silently for a long moment. Kody moving back into Stacy's arms. Drawing Amanda's rage as she stormed out of the entrance to the apartment and asked, "What the hell is this?"
"Nothing Amanda go back inside" I said as I stood up and Stacy and Kody joining me. "We're just talking is all."
"Looks like to me you're...friend..." Amanda said with emphasis on the last word, "...is getting a little friendly with my sister."
"What are you suggesting Hillbilly?" Stacy asked as she protectively moved in front of Kody. Something that for some reason sent a warm feeling to all ends of my body. I was at that moment seriously powerless to stop the two girls in front of me as I realized I was in love with Stacy and the damage that Amanda had caused with her devotion to Derrick was probably irreparable.
"I'm not suggesting anything, I'm saying keep your perverted hands off my sister" Amanda said as Stacy glared at her. "And how the hell do you get that I'm a hillbilly?"
"Ok first, you a hillbilly cause just like women from the south you to damn stupid to leave a man who beats you until you're near death" Stacy said, "And second...bitch...ohhh you bout to get pounded when you start suggesting I'm a child molester cause you the dumb whore who refused to believe you're own sister when she said that piece of shit you dated MOLESTED HER."
"FUCK YOU WHORE" Amanda said. "Get over here Kody, we're going home right now and you're not coming back here again."
"NOOOO" Kody said as she pulled her hand away when Amanda tried to grab her hand. Stacy quickly latching onto Amanda's risk and slamming her violently into the wall. Pinning Amanda's arm behind her back and trapping her.
"I will break your arm if you threaten her again" Stacy said in a menacing voice.
"OWWWWWWW you're hurting my arm" Amanda cried as Kody hugged me and I finally snapped out of my daze. "Manny god help me, you said you loved me..."
"Let her go, it's ok" I said as Stacy backed off and let Amanda turn and grab her arm. She ran to me on instinct and tried to hug me as I turned away. She gave me a look that spoke volumes. "What?"
"You are not taking Kody anywhere" I said.
"Now you know who you dealing with bitch" Stacy said as Amanda looked at her and moved away again. "Issue a few more threats and the cops will be pulling me off you."
"You just saw what she did to me" Amanda said as she looked to me with pleading eyes. "Can't you see you're making a mistake?"
"Stop, Stacy, please for me?" Kody said as she ran to Stacy's side and hugged her to stop from going after Amanda again. "I love you too."
"Seriously?" Stacy asked with a smile crossing her face. Kody kissing her chin and nodding yes. "I swear I'll never hurt you and no one will ever touch you like he did again."
"You need to go" I said to Amanda, "Maybe give it a few days and we can talk."
"Are you serious?" She asked as I simply nodded. "FINE! If I walk out of this building you just blew your chance with me Manny and I mean forever."
"So Derrick gets a hundred chances and I only get one?" I asked.
"That's unfair, I'm supposed to be with him he's a man and you're not..." Amanda said as tears of frustration came dripping down her cheeks and she covered her face with her hands. "...I mean..."
"So me and you would have been what? Morally wrong?" I asked as I pulled her hands away from her eyes.
"Nooo..."
"Get out" I said.
"I'm sorry..."
"Get OUT" I said with a shaky voice as my emotion took over and I screamed the last word. She cried harder and backed away with a seriously heartbroken look on her face. "I don't love you, I'm in love with Stacy now."
"FINE, I HATE YOU" Amanda said as she turned and ran down the hall and just like that she was gone from my life. Stacy smiled at me and a moment later we shared a simple kiss. A kiss that changed my life forever. I was in love with her and so was Kody (in vastly different ways of course), Kody squeezed in between us and hugged both of us with a smile on her face that just beamed. A smile that stayed on her face for the next...well I don't think it's left till the current day as she's never been happier.
Funny thing is, as things sorted themselves out, I wasn't in love with Amanda anymore, that was true. So she wasn't the 'love of my life' like I had thought for the last so many years. But what's even weirder is...well Stacy isn't either. Kody is. She's laying in my arms as I write this, safe from the world and sleeping in such peace. See, like I said, I could never forgive Amanda for what she did to Kody and truthfully, my Kody bear didn't either. Amanda and I tried a few times to make peace, but it just hurt too bad, but slowly we're getting past it.
Things are good now though. Derrick the child molester, is blind in one eye, completely useless from the waste down (thanks to me!), and serving a life sentence in Indiana's toughest prison for attempted rape, child moolestation, possession of child porn and various other crimes. Slug is probably somebodies prison bitch by now. I'm hoping so anyway.
While Amanda met a really sweet and gentle young man named Richie Stolkes who adores her and she's "so in love I can't stand it". They're getting married in the fall. Her and Kody made up somewhat, and Richie loves Kody to death. Although still to this day she won't be alone with him for very long, just residue of the whole Derrick trauma. But she's slowly coming out of it.
As for me, well, Kody is living with me full time now and I ended up with full custody of her after Barb and Rich saw how much I loved her (and met "Grumpy Pa"). The triplets (Manny, Kory and Rich jr.), are so beautiful and healthy. Me and Kody go see them about every day and it's weird how things are just normal now. Kody loves her Mom and Dad, but she wants to be with me and Rich and Barb are grateful for the help (times are tough for them now and then).
As for my Kody bear, she is 10 now, and in 6th grade and on the honor roll. Even got her first girlfriend at school. Kinda hoping she chooses girls but, she soooo has a mind of her own. I'd truly hurt myself before I crushed her spirit by forcing something on her. She's a completely normal 10 year old. With tantrums and little fits, yes we fight sometimes, but she never once has ever threatened to leave, because she knows she has me to watch her back every day for the rest of our lives. She truly is the love of my life.
Oh yeh, one last thing. Stacy, the girl who replaced Amanda in my heart is now living with us in my new house, yes I said house (courtesy of Grumpy Pa), it's just off the main street and we all love it. Stacy is truly taking on the role of keeping my Kody bear in line and sometimes things are a little noisy around here but it always ends with Kody and Stacy making up and working out their differences.
Who knew that me and Stacey would be so good together? She understands that Kody is my heart, and she tries her best to make me love her as much. I do. She's sitting across the room at the computer right now. Hard to type when I'm gawking at her. She's freaking gorgeous as hell and oh yeah...she's really good at 'something else'. We sooo made love for the first time a few weeks after the whole 'Amanda in the hall' scene and she left me shaking and moaning long after she was done with me. Can you say strap-on? Can you say taking it in your butt? Ohmigod I'm such a slut for that girl it's embarassing what she does to me, but MMMMMMM it all feels so good. I might have to write about that sometime...anyway...
"Are you two done click clacking on those stupid computers?" Kody asked with a smirk as she woke up in my arms and looked up at me and then to Stacy.
"I was just writing about how much I love you and Stacy" I said as I sat down the laptop and ran my fingers through her curly hair as Stacy joined us on the bed and leaned back and laid against Kody playfully. "My two favorite girls."
"Yeh, I love you too Manny" Kody said as I wrapped my arms around her tighter and giggled as Stacy started to tickle her.
"I love you too Kody bear" Stacy said as my heart beat faster in pride. "And you too Manny. I love you my girl."
"I love yoo too Stace" I said as I kissed her softly and she smiled from ear to ear.
"MMMMMMM slip her some tongue" Kody said in a giggle as I kissed Stacy softly one more time. Both of us then looking down at Kody as she got lost in laughter at us.
"I say we throw her out" Stacy said with a challenging smile to Kody.
"Yeh, right, you love me and you now it" Kody said as Stacy kissed her playfully as Kody pushed her off and wiped her lips.
"EWWWWWWWW girl cooties" Kody said in a giggle as she tackled Stacey on the bed and they started to wrestle.
"We both do Kody" I said as she stopped for a moment as her and Stacey both looked at me. Stacey now on her back with Kody across her stomach. "Forever and always, Kody bear"
"Word for word" Stacy said as she pulled Kody down on top of her and hugged her. "No one in this world will ever hurt you again."
"I know" Kody said with a smile as I closed my laptop and laid down now beside of them as Kody hugged us both. "Forever and always."
beautiful....simple, I have nothing more to say, but it gave me four good episodes worth of enjoyment. It was a sweet story.
