The Golden Clittorides Awards are sponsored by
alt.sex.stories.moderated and I am pleased to announce
that I won for Best New Author 2000, and Best Story by a New
Author 2000 (the winning story was "Romancing Jack: A Rainy
Day Love Story"). I'm *finally* getting these banners up on
my site, and are at the bottom of the page.
Also, the University I attend sponsored a writing contest recently. Prizes
were awarded in categories for prose and poetry. On a whim, I entered "Summer Rain" and
it won first place in prose! I attended an awards banquet where I had to read a couple passages
from the story. I got a certificate, a check, and the story will be published in a national English
sponsored journal this fall. Talk about a boost to my morale!
