Story Summary

I saw you along the
Banks of the
River glistened under
Bright spring sun smiled
Upon Victor stared
Impassively on your
Fleeting figure-
Hair tossing about and
Skirt a-flying and
Pretty legs a-skipping

You seemed not to
Have a care in the
World had obviously
Not looked upon you
Favorably-Unkempt
Hair and clothes were
Soiled and broken
Sandals showed your
Delicate toes were
Twitching as you
Stopped before me

Your dusky eyes grew
Wide with wonder
When I knelt before
You offering the flower
I had picked along the
Way your dainty
Fingers took the stem
Reminded me of
A rippling waterfall
Burbled like your
Gentle laughter

Your smile said all
As I placed the flower
In your hair and
Took your hand so I
Could bow my head to
It was warm and soft
Your lips pressed mine
As we shared an
Exquisite kiss beneath
The gaze of Victor
