What Is Vines’ Pantry?

Classical Definition

The Butler’s Pantry was ‘below stairs’, typically as close as possible to the foot of the stairs, so that The Master or The Mistress would not be unnecessarily inconvenienced by having to wait for his arthritic carcass, when he was called.

The Reality

It’s my web page, a result of my vanity. It’s immediately beneath the default page and it explains a few things. It’s cheap and cheerful, built using MS Word ‘Web Page Wizard’ or some such gizmo.

Why it’s needed

It explains what I’m doing at the moment; why the pages are as they are. It’s got all the silly bits and pieces that I didn’t want to put on the front page. Maybe one day I’ll put this in a blog, but not right now.

For instance, I can tell you here that nowhere in any of my stories will you find a depiction of under-age sex. And I don’t care what the age of consent is where you are, I wrote this stuff and the characters I write about are well into their twenties. They could be older and not admitting to it, but I know for a fact that they’re at least twenty something. So there.

I can also apologise for the sad fact that half of what I’ve written so far has gone to that great re-cycling bin in the sky, thanks to a hard disk fault and a remarkably inept back-up policy (no back-up policy…)

I refuse to apologise for the use of English English, instead of the US English this spell checker keeps trying to foist upon me. If you’d been brought up in The Netherlands you’d appreciate a language as rich and powerful as this!

About the Stories

All of these are really work in progress. The problem? Well, I’m not a finisher, so what’s here was always going to be a part of a lot more, but for one reason or another they were put down and not picked up again. I kid myself that one day I’ll do a bit more

The Black Ball - Prologue – A woman submits to humiliation by a co-worker and thus becomes a blackmail victim - MMM/F, humil, b&d, nc? - Why is it the Prologue? When I wrote it, I had visions of it as the first part of a serial.

The Brass Bedstead – A word picture of a woman, attached to an old-fashioned bedstead. This was completed pretty much as envisaged, a bit of an exception to the rule.

Bad Behaviour – A woman’s behaviour leads her into trouble; the sort that you know is going to lead to some heavy humiliation and punishment.

The Interrogation – This is my nasty story. Initially put up here in July 2005, I decided to extend it in Oct 2006. Wait another year and maybe I’ll finish it…..

The Pipe – A touch of autobiography.
