Sunday morning, Tracy woke up, lazily, and took a while to gather enough of herself to remember where she was. She felt deliciously warm and cozy, relaxed and loved. Then, she realized that she was touching bodies on both sides.
On one side was Karen, drooling on Tracy's left nipple, her mouth open. Beautiful, WONDERFUL Karen. Tracy never knew there were so many different ways to use your mouth on a pussy. Smiling, she turned to the right.
Sylvia and Sandy were tangled up in each other's arms, but Sylvia had scooted back until her very rounded bottom was nestled against Tracy's side. From what Tracy had been able to hear, Sandy and Sylvia had been having just as much fun as she had been having with Karen.
All of them were sleeping peacefully, and a few tears leaked out of Tracy, as she thought about how much more beautiful her life had become in the last day and a half. They had all been so desperately lonely, and now, they were all overflowing with love.
Tracy never doubted that she still wanted to find a man -- someone like Karen's Uncle Jim, or even Bart. She was surprised to realize that she wanted a trio, sharing a man with Sylvia, even more than she had been wanting a man just for herself. How could a weekend change something that basic, she wondered.
She had been focused on having a man all to herself, since long before she ever hit puberty. That was simply the way it was, and when there was a good man out there, it was every girl for herself, because only one could have him.
The funny thing was, while she would never want to give up having a man, having a man AND a woman, meant that her life would have much MORE love in it, not less. "How the hell did we get sold on just one girl per guy?" she whispered to herself.
Two men and one woman couldn't possibly work the same way, unless the guys were bisexual. Tracy frowned, as she realized the guys COULD be bisexual, so maybe it could work that way. You would still never really be sure who was the father of any children, though, and that was definitely a problem. With two girls and a guy, though, the girls have a much better chance of catching a much higher-quality guy than they could otherwise catch, and they'd never be in doubt about parentage.
She thought about it some more, and realized that the only ones who WOULDN'T benefit from that kind of marriage becoming common, would be the guys who were left out -- the losers, she thought with a snort, like the jerks who had followed them, yesterday, and those bastards who raped Karen and Sylvia.
For a moment, Tracy was distracted by Karen's fantasy. Yes, it WOULD be nice to look those guys up. Then she snorted again. What if they had been on dates with TWO girls, and tried something like that? Not bloody likely. Rape my lover? How about, I stick my pen in your eye while you are trying it? It would be the total end of date rape, she realized.
The men who were in the relationship, of course, would get the benefit of having two wives, and unless they were total idiots, they would, as Bart said, say, "where do I sign up?" The more she thought about it, the more Tracy thought that men would LOVE the idea, as long as they were in the half who got the women, of course.
The women in the marriage would benefit just as much, thought Tracy, because they would have a man, for the male bonding, and strong protection, and fathering they all wanted for their children. At the same time, though, they would be married to women who understood their hearts, shared their men, and loved them, woman-to-woman, as no man could ever understand or give. When they have hurts that his masculine brain just can't grasp, they can cry on each other.
Sometimes, Tracy thought, we need the masculine love, and sometimes, the feminine. I don't think men are built the same way, but we sure as hell are. Why can't we build marriages so women can have both?
Why not? she wondered again. It benefits almost all the women, and the better half of the men, weeding out the assholes. The way it is now, even the worst jerks can still have women, because everyone buys into the stupid one-girl-one-guy rule. Do this, and suddenly, the available women dry up for the jerks. All the really GOOD guys can have two, and all the women who want one can find a good man, as long as they are sharing him. The jerks either evolve or become extinct, Tracy thought with a chuckle.
She lay there with her musings, watching all these women she loved sleeping, for another twenty minutes, before Karen woke up. Then Tracy could get up, use the bathroom, and start the coffee.
Once everyone was up, and they had ordered breakfast, Sandy took Popper out for a walk, and they went out to enjoy the sunshine. They were sitting out in chairs in front of their cabin, after finishing breakfast outside, when Cherry and Bart and Jean walked up, all holding hands.
"We just wanted to thank you for an incredible time last night," Bart said, "and even more, for opening our hearts to love in ways we never thought of before."
"Do you know what you want to do?" said Tracy, thinking about her musings.
He frowned. "No, except that I love both of these ladies, and they love me, AND they love each other." After a pause, he said, "it doesn't really leave room for a happy ending, does it?"
"It does, if you think outside the box," said Tracy. "Sit down."
They looked surprised, and Cherry and Jean both looked cautious, but they pulled over some extra chairs. When they were sitting in a circle, Tracy said, "something dawned on me this morning, as I was watching these ladies I love sleeping. I was thinking about how much I love them, and love making love TO them, because there is something special about the love between two women, that I'll never get with a man. Right?"
Cherry and Jean nodded, but still cautiously. They still couldn't tell where Tracy was going, she saw. Well, neither could anyone else. "Anyway, we all know there are also things between a man and a woman in love, that never happen in woman-woman love, right?"
"Of course," Karen said, as all the women nodded with her.
"Well, I was thinking, what if I could have my cake, and eat it, too? What if I could have a husband AND a wife? I was just dreaming, of course, because society would never let me bend the rules of marriage that way, but that's when it hit me. Why not change what marriage means?"
"Honey, the GLA has been trying that for decades," said Karen. "They are making progress, but"
"NO! That's not what I'm talking about. I'm not talking about a different kind of one-on-one marriage. I'm talking about a three-way marriage: two girls and one guy."
Into the silence that followed, Tracy poured out her idea, and her reasoning behind it. She told them about how it would let nearly all women both find a good man AND have the feminine love they all needed, it would let the better half of the men have TWO women, and it would leave the jerks with nothing.
"I actually like that last point best of all," said Karen. "Let half the men go without finding a partner at all, and some of them MIGHT actually learn some manners."
Most of the women were open-mouthed, as they thought it through. Bart looked at Jean and Cherry, and saw them both looking at him, hopefully. He laughed, got up, and pulled them to him, saying, "we'll have to figure a lot of things out, but I LOVE the idea!"
"You know there will be legal complications," Sandy warned.
"Yeah, I know, bigamy laws," Cherry said. "We'll have to figure that one out."
"Other than the legal issues, though -- which won't be small," said Sandy, "I'm trying to see a downside here. I don't see one. Does anyone else?"
After ten seconds of silence, Sylvia said, "did we just redefine marriage?"
"I think, maybe, we did," said Tracy.
"I'll bet we aren't the first ones to think about this, by a long shot," said Bart. "Let's think about what comes next. If this is real, and I think it is, who is going to be most outraged, and what can they do about it? What should we do about it?"
"Well, the religious right is going to be the most upset about it," said Karen. "Who else?"
"Anyone who has been sold on the whole traditional marriage idea," said Sandy.
They continued on for the next hour, making notes and plans, before the staff members had to leave, to get ready for work.
They went inside, as it was starting to get hot.
"I can't BELIEVE what we just decided," said Sylvia. "Are we really going to pursue that?"
"Why not?" said Tracy. "That's what I keep coming back to: Why the hell NOT? I know it's going to be tough, and I know there will be harassment, but isn't the love of your life worth it?"
"It's worth it for me," said Sandy.
"And me," said Karen. "The chemistry between three people is bound to be more complicated than with two, but who knows? Maybe a third person buffers problems, and makes them easier to work out."
There was another knock at the door, and Karen went to it, to let in Emma and Bill. "I'm sorry to intrude on you," she said, "but I couldn't wait any longer to come over to apologize for my behavior last night."
They all put their arms around her, and Sandy said, "Emma, love, there was NOTHING you did that needs an apology. You are on your HONEYMOON, love. You shared that stud of a husband with me, last night, and I came like gangbusters. You found it a little difficult when you saw there was no space for you to be snuggled up to your husband, but there's nothing wrong with that. You were okay, once I got out of the way, weren't you?" Emma nodded.
"In fact, Emma," said Sandy, softly, "I only have one regret about last night."
"What was that?"
"I didn't get to make love to you." Sandy kissed Emma, who hesitantly returned it. As their passion grew, Sandy led her over to the far bed, and continued to kiss her. Bill and the other women just sat on the near bed, and watched. Emma looked over, worriedly, a couple of times, but when she saw that none of the three were moving on her husband, finally gave Sandy all her attention.
It took half an hour, but finally, they were both snoozing in a rumpled, happy tangle. The other four had watched, with rapt attention, all through it. Tracy was leaning back against Sylvia, who was caressing both her breasts. Karen WANTED to lean against Bill, and she sensed it was mutual, but didn't want to intrude on Emma's space. Finally, Bill had reached over, and pulled her two him.
He sat with his arms around her, and his hands under her breasts, and Karen leaned back, feeling his strong chest, and his erection in her back. That was all they did, but it felt so good, Karen thought, if only we didn't have to dance around what we wanted so much.
Once Sandy and Emma were asleep, Bill got Karen up, dropped his clothes, and lay down to spoon up behind Emma, his erection going between her legs, and his arm going across her, his hand lying on Sandy's breast. Emma, on Sandy's nearer breast, opened her eyes when she felt her husband's hard-on, and saw his hand on Sandy's far breast. She was pleased to see Sandy's nipple pop up under his touch.
Emma sighed, and was about to go back to sleep, when she felt a soft hand on her left nipple. She looked down, and saw a feminine hand, reaching around Bill. She realized that one of the other girls must be back there, spooned up to Bill. With another sigh, Emma drifted off to sleep.
Tracy and Sylvia were still watching, caressing. "What do you think, lover?" said Tracy, softly.
Sylvia laughed, quietly. "I just don't know. There's a lot of love there, isn't there?"
"Do you think they could do a four-way?"
Sylvia thought about that. "I think that would be harder. There's a lot of comfort in that masculine chest, and you saw her reaction when there were three who wanted to be next to his two sides."
"Yeah, I see what you mean," said Tracy. "I have an idea about how we can find a guy just for us, though, and weed out the jerks who just want to bang two girls at once."
"How's that?"
When everyone had gotten up from their nap, it was time to pack up and check out. The four friends agreed they had to come back up there, as soon as they could. "If nothing else," Karen laughed, "we want to hear the third round of stories!"
They made sure they had everyone's contact information. Bill and Emma lived in their town, and Cherry and Jean and Bart were all students at the nearby university, so they would have chances to see them all, if they wanted.
Bill and Emma hugged and kissed them all good-bye, but the kisses were especially passionate with both Sandy AND Karen, Tracy and Sylvia noted.
As they were heading out to the parking lot, Sandy stopped, and laughed. All the others looked at her. "I was just wondering whether that asshole of a boss of mine scored this weekend, or if he spent it jerking off in an empty bridal suite. I really don't care, but that wasn't why I laughed. If we were to get this three-way marriage model accepted, he wouldn't stand a chance."
"Improve the human race!" laughed Karen.
A few minutes later, they were heading off down the mountain, to return to lives that would never be so empty again.
