About Monocular Vision:
This site holds the stories and other literary excercises of Monocle. Everything herein is fiction. Most pages, works, or what-have-you,
contain scenes of graphic sex of various kinds, many of which are nc, kinky,
and/or downright weird. While the non- or semi-consensual figures prominently
in many of them, violence, pain, and s/m-ish themes beyond the odd spank do not.
The stories often include elements of restraint or some kind of bondage and/or
impregnation/insemination, and are therefore usually M/F, M+/F or Other/F (the
latter due to preferences for SF, Fantasy, and occasionally Horror genres). One
or two might have the odd FF scene (likely of even more dubious quality than
the others). I tend not to get into overly detailed
physical descriptions of characters. I prefer to let the reader's imagination
fill this in by themselves. When I read, that's what I usually do. Pop-psych is easy. Most of the words here, in first and final analysis are,
unapologetically, stroke stories I wrote for myself. Some exorcise certain demon
(literal and/or figurative) fantasies. Hopefully, the less visceral of them are
not completely one-dimensional, and I am slowly beginning to explore elements of
plotting and "real" story writing. Readers of long years have probably seen
similar themes done before and better. I hope some of mine have a modicum of
novelty to them. Contents are my own (Monocle), copyright
1998-2007 (as are the typos, and spelling & grammar errors), and any
resemblance to persons or events living or dead or stories already written is
purely coincidence and quite unintended unless otherwise stated. |

About Monocle I started writing erotic fiction in 1988 to name the demons and succubi
dancing in my head since adolescence. I continued writing because I found I liked
it, and it provided catharsis for fantasies I would never really contemplate acting
out. I am more attracted to erotica (whatever the medium) written for or directed
toward women (and if it focuses on my own preferred kinks, all the better).
That is also often the way I end up trying to write. I suppose it's presumptive
to try to represent a female point of view in the various bizarre situations I
create. Though I can only assume that the testosterone poisoning shows through,
sometimes transparently, I hope I'm not utterly abysmal at it. People come to these sites for fantasies, not reality, so I will spare the
reader my personal details. Suffice to say I wear two corrective lenses rather than
one, and resemble virtually no one in any of my stories. Monocle |
